@@julietteyork6293 I wouldn't recommend doing this type of fasting tbh, I do the ESE intermittent fasting which u basically choose 2 days in a week which for example u stop eating the evening before and fast until the next evening, it goes over the time ur sleeping so about 12 of those 24 hrs ur not actually awake and the time before u sleep u tend to not feel hungry, I've only done it for a week but fitted with running daily and not over-eating I've definitely seen a bit of result in my weight and my mood.
After fasting guys just avoid sugar completely. Avoid carbohydrates and if you must eat carbohydrates, just make sure you eat the complex carbs. Make proteins and vegetables your main meals. Also work out to avoid regaining your lost weight and for leaner body.

I’m one of those folk that eats the same things every week, it works and that all I care about at this point lol. Eggs, chopped bell peppers and spinach is a good one. Oat meal, yogurt and granola, assorted nuts, cottage cheese (a serving of these is pretty nice, we/i don’t want to over do it). Chicken and rice with a veggie of some kind, I normally do broccoli or spinach, I add chopped bell peppers if I’m feeling fancy. I of course put spices in all these things, I don’t support a flavorless meal plan at all, it will never be followed. It’s not much but a few things to play with I imagine. I hope you see this and that this comment assists in some way. Try to eat something that has a good variety of nutrition, Maybe even look into making nutrient rich smoothies. I’ve been making some awesome smoothies lately just from online recipes. Remember it’s important to focus on not eating too much or too quickly after a fast.

I've noticed that before too, but now my body is much cleaner inside, I guess, since I've been doing extended fasts regularly the past few years. I was in the city center in the evening/night time, and noticed that the colors on the traffic lights and the tail lights on the cars were so freaking bright! Almost as bright as when I've done psychedelic mushrooms. And my skin is really clearing up. I love fasting!

As an exercise addict I get hypoglycaemia (extreme low sugars) due to exercise while fasting I do for 5 days tho and workout 12 hrs due to an Ed possibly different for a healthy individual with healthy relationship with food, fasting and exercise I just take it to extremes and I end up fainting sm🫠

They say you should rest and keep exercise extremely moderate because the bodies doing its thing and detoxing and you don't want to use up its energy doing too much exercise which could take away from the healing effects of the fast.

I had a little weird feeling in my knee joints. After 4 days of fasting all of my joints feel like i am teenager. This is typical side effect of not eating because your blood pressure comes down and heart rate slows down meaning when you get up orthostatic hypotension occurs. Nothing serious and nothing to be afraid off. First sit up and then slowly get up and that's it.
7 days is excessive and unnecessary. 3 days max is beneficial after that it’s completely destructive to your overall health. Vitamin deficiency will kill you in the long run
I'm having to have one cup of coffee in the morning with a little bit of milk but then just water throughout the day. Will this ruin the fast? I'm fasting to improve vision in my left eye. After suffering yet another flare up from a corneal ulcer I'm sick of having to rely on pharmaceuticals and trying anything I can to help improve things on a more permanent basis. I'm sure the prescription drops I've used over the years have made my eye worse and even temporarily don't help the way they used to a few years ago.

Day 2 is always the hardest. Day 3 and on are easier. My longest was 7. Its crazy how much better you feel. Just go easy on your first meal.

During fasting, replace food and any work out with Prayer, this is true fasting.

I just did a 3 day water fast and was sent into an intense pain flare. I know I’m dumping toxins (currently fighting chronic illness)
Shouldn’t run during fasting unless you are in zone 2 so you don’t burn muscle. You also need Some type of sea salt to help with the cramps.
I don't advise running or weight lifting during prolonged fasting. Walking and yoga is good.

7 days is excessive and unnecessary. 3 days max is beneficial after that it’s completely destructive to your overall health. Vitamin deficiency will kill you in the long run

I'm having to have one cup of coffee in the morning with a little bit of milk but then just water throughout the day. Will this ruin the fast? I'm fasting to improve vision in my left eye. After suffering yet another flare up from a corneal ulcer I'm sick of having to rely on pharmaceuticals and trying anything I can to help improve things on a more permanent basis. I'm sure the prescription drops I've used over the years have made my eye worse and even temporarily don't help the way they used to a few years ago.

@@miked5142 tbh mate I didn't stick with it long enough. Its probably something that's not gonna work unless I keep it up militantly for at least a month or month and a half. If I get back into it Il try n remember to keep u updated if there's any progress.
Do water for 36 hours and if you can, go longer

@@philly3901Absolutely. I have fasted till 3p on Weekends and feel a difference but a full 36hrs will give you the autophagy your body needs to reset your body. The autophagy starts at 24hrs. Manifestations come to fruition and clearer thinking.
