So cute! My thought for a bit “extra” is I would hold off on gluing down all of the lattice pieces right away, and perhaps weave some greenery, like die cut vines or such, in between a few places first and then glue it down. Thank you for the inspiration and great tutorial!

Awesome idea. I’d put acetate in between the layers if I did not weave for strength, and I’d mitre the corners of the top pieces. Picky I know but my Dad was a finish carpenter…lol

Loved this lattice card. I modified it though. Took card base and front of card piece, attached them together with temp. adhesive and cut both with a die.(but you could use ruler and knife to cut frame)
Applied lattice pieces as you did then added it to the card base.

Beautiful card! When doing the first set of 'rails', I use a scrap of the same size for the gap. It doesn't touch the sticky tape because it is in the middle. I just pick it up and move it to the next gap.

You could use a rectangle site to cut the center out and use them for straps. That might make the whole squaring up step unnecessary.

    • @tamthaluehrs

Hi, it could be the brand of tape, did you burnish it well? or it could be the weight of the cardstock that you used for the lattice. If you need some more troubleshooting, please email me at tamatha@maymaymadeit.com …thanks
