I just came across this tutorial, and it is going to be my first ever folio for my granddaughters birthday. Thank you so much for taking the time to explain what your doing, why and how. This newbie feels confident. Have a blessed weekend.
I will be using this tutorial a lot! First up is a "death to my 20s" folio for my daughter's 30th birthday. She chose that theme and I want her to have a folio for pictures. I may have to do one of your larger folios for that, actually. Thanks for giving us so many folio options!
First of all, your bracelet is gorgeous! I use a white gel pen & make a circle where I want my magnet before I put my paper on, that way it'll stand out. For those who ask about Christmas so "soon", we are crafters! That's why 'Christmas in July' is a real thing every year! They must not be crafters Lol!!
Brilliant, Maymay. Thank you so much for this quick but involved project. Love it. Nothing wrong with the two trucks on one side. Would have thought nothing of it. 🎄
Maymay, I just want to tell you how much I appreciate you. You are a fabulous teacher, making everything so simple and understandable. You explain WHY you do what you do and that makes all the difference. I have learned so much from you already, and I look forward to every video. You are truly a gift from God!!!
Oh, Maymay! There you go again, proving to us that you're human. 😘 As well as, an extremely talented paper artist! Thank you so much for another gorgeous gift idea. Now, I need to toss in a request like everyone else. Could you please design a portfolio to place all the beautiful Holiday cards we receive in? I was thinking waterfalls would be the best way to store a bunch but, I'm just not sure how to go about it. Any guidance would be greatly welcomed. Thank you so much, in advance, for your time and artistry. 🤘💕☮️🤗
Thank you Maymayi for doing the 4x4 I really enjoyed that little one I will be making a lot of them for teachers for Christmas thank you again and God bless you and your staff and family
I'm working on items for a Christmas 'basket' sale at my church. I think these would be a wonderful addition to any basket. I'm gonna have to make several!
Thanks MayMay!! I appreciate you mentioning baby's 1st year in this as my granddaughter turns 1 November 11th. Also, I have no problem with you doing these early. I love the idea of them!! Especially the larger ones!
My oldest is a Veterans Day baby too but he will be 31 this year. Happy Birthday early to your grandbaby. This will be a wonderful album for the big day.
I love the place setting idea. We don’t have big family gatherings any more but my granddaughter has events coming up (including graduation in 2024…how did that happen?) that this would be perfect for
So happy you added this “revamp” of the 4x4 folio! I think that paper you used is so pretty! You always have great ideas for gift giving! Thanks Maymay!
I am in the middle of making a wedding album for a friend. My mind froze thinking of creative ways to make photo journals and folios, (waterfalls, zig zag folios etc). Your video popped up and this is a perfect idea. I'm also thinking these would be fun to make for our yearly neighborhood Progressive Christmas dinners, and hand them out to the families that participate. Thank you so much for sharing. 😁
Thank you for this stand alone video! I love this little album, and the addition of the 2 extra pages. I'm going to try to make one for each of my family members for Christmas memories! Love that paper too!
It's a great folio, however, I had another idea. If there are 12 pages (does that include the front?) I was thinking that it would be a great little book for recording all family birthdays, etc.
This is so adorable! I think I’ll make a bunch of these!! Thanks for showing us how and for doing it early so we can buy supplies and make this and save it for that special day!
Thank you for making this newer version. I already made four the first one you made but I will definitely be making this one too. I always like watching the projects you make because they are fast and fun.
Thank you Maymay! I did make that other little 4x4 and it was so cute. I think this extra bit is great. Going to give that a whirl too. I have a Stamperia 6x6 Christmas paper pack that should work well. I might actually make a Christmas gift before the month of December! Woot!!
This is wonderful - thanks for sharing! You mentioned that you recently showed the first style (for only 10 photos). I can't find that video anywhere! Can you provide a link?
Maymay, what a wonderful idea. I have spent the last couple of days making these. Can I ask what thickness of card do you use for the actual book? I have found some of the ones I made too thin. Love your work!
Hi we suggest using the 110lb cardstock for the folio bases, but you can use the 65lb cardstock too, once you add the mats and photo spot mats it makes it more sturdy, thanks
May may, I have a somewhat of a long shot of a question..here a few months back, you showed an older man that made the spoon bracelet that you often wear..I thought you said they were somewhere around $35.00 n up..if the man is still alive n making them, could you please help to get in contact with him..I would like to buy a few from him..I keep think his name was David, but not sure at all..he was an older gentlemen that made them..you gave his address n phone number of how to reach him, n I've lost it..I want one of those bracelets soooooo bad...lol.please, please help me find him again..I thank you so much..I will be checking for any up dates..tfs..
I love all these folios you make!
You get excited to put down the pretty papers. Just like us
This slittle 4 x 4 is just awesome Maymay and I am now on my way to making a bunch for family and friends for Christmas. Thanks for sharing

Thank you SO much for sharing this! I love it, and will make several for Christmas gifts. God Bless You! :)
I use my ruler up against those tricky score lines & push up & against the ruler. Easy peasy!
I am gonna make one for a baby gift!!! One page for each month for a year!!
Very cool and versatile. Thanks for sharing.

May May loves her spoon bracelet!
Brilliant, Maymay. Thank you so much for this quick but involved project. Love it. Nothing wrong with the two trucks on one side. Would have thought nothing of it. 🎄
So super cute! Love this design and the papers you used!
Cute, thanks for sharing... On the photo, I think a coordinating solid color (as opposed to the white) would be cute...
Such a sweet gift. So many to choose from.

Looks like it's a perfect album for Sprocket pictures on Christmas morning.
This is a perfect sisters book for my 2 girls. I am definitely going to make a few of these for them to have.

Great for a little brag book! TFS
Hi Maymay, This is perfect folio! Did you by chance happen to make it so we can cut it out on our scan & Cut? Love it! Thank you!

I forget the magnet too!!! Cute project! One of my faves!
This is so cute! Love the extra room for 12 photo's and the paper is gorgeous. Hugs, Brenda

😂😂😂 Magnet implant! Great. And is one supposed to do it differently? Totally a pro at that. 😁
This one is super cute! I love all the folios though.
YES!! I am SO glad you did this modification! 👏 Thank you! 😃

Hi we are using 80lb Carta Bella Felt Cardstock bit.ly/3QCwoqN
LOL - I played with the original 4x4 right away and made the bottom flap into an inside POCKET to hold extra photos .:-) great minds think alreadyke..
Hey Maymay!! Can you tell me.. when do you use 110lb cardstock and when do you use the 65lb cardstock, when making your folios and albums?
Hi we suggest using the 110lb cardstock for the folio bases, but you can use the 65lb cardstock too, once you add the mats and photo spot mats it makes it more sturdy, thanks
Thank you so much!!
Love this cutie folio. Thank you for the tutorial. Do you have a tutorial for a baby’s first year folio? If so can you post me link?
Hi we dont have a folio decorated as a baby folio, but Maymay mentions this in the video, thanks
Oops sorry , just caught that
Newbie here 🙋🏼♀️ Can someone tell me where to get photos printed that small so they’ll fit on these pages?
Hi you can get those printed to the sizes you need at most big pharmacy box store, we also use an Apple app called Print to Size, thanks
I cannot find the 6x8 of the pattern paper that you used. Am I missing it?
Hi, we are currently sold out of the 6x8 size we still have the 12x12 paper in stock, here is that link: bit.ly/3Ql4dMQ
@@tamthaluehrs for some reason this link is not working ....is there another? Thanks
@@susanbernier9399 Hi, it has sold out, we will try to get it back in stock, sorry for any inconvenience
