@@outsidewithjeff nice, that's awesome...I know they have a 2 year warranty...glad it worked out for you. Ours in 8 years old, we noticed one bulb went out and it seems like the unit isn't electrocuting bugs even though the other bulb is working. We have the 2 bulb unit. I'm going to replace the one bulb in hopes that's the issue.
I tried to remove the bulb and received a shock. I had unplugged it and also detached the on/off switch. Why did I get shocked? I’m afraid to touch it again to remove the bulb?
Wow...thanks, I just gave up on changing the bulb. Ill attempt it once more.
You can do it!!
Did you end up getting the transformer or replacing the whole unit?
In this situation the unit was replaced as it was under manufacture warranty

That’s very odd.
I thought so as well.
Having trouble removing cage to replace bulb . I pushed down and in but not coming off did I miss a step?
I don’t believe so, they were hard to release you may need to use a small screwdriver to help you pry it out.
Ok I finally called Flowtron. They said remove bottom clip pull out old bulb put in new one . Worked like a charm .😊
