Pool professional speaking- You can also blow out your pool pump by creating a dry pump. A skimmer should be filled at least halfway full, at all times. It's necessary as the pump feels out any debris, and cleans your pool water. Pumps such alot of water out if pools, cleans it, then flows the cleans/ filters the water back into the pool. You sir are on your way to getting a dry pump. A dry pump means there is no water coming into the pump. So your pump melts, its destroyed, unusable. A dry pump means you have to purchase a entirely new pump for your pool. Can you say money, $$$$$. As long as your pool is clean, clear and the pump is working correctly. Why are you worrying about seeing the skimmer work? Sheesh!!!
Wow I never thought this would be the issue! My pool water is way too high 😂😂
It would have been nice to see the inside of the skimmer to see the water pressure.
Was this a report ? Because I came by to increase the action in my skimmer
Not helpful at all
That may solve my skimmer problem. Thank you so much.
How do you lower the water
Do you know of any pool professionals on RUclips regarding improving surface water flowing into pool skimmer?
No sense at all
