That extra weight on the beater is a memory lock. Slide it in to your set height and be done. I suppose people could also say it is a weight as that is what it is. Extra weight. But i think its primary function is to serve as a memory lock..
@AfoHT ok, thanks for the advice, the first thing i'll get for my shit drumkit will be the doublebass pedal, later on i'll good toms and a better snare, it'll be better this way cause the only thing that doesn't sound horrible in my drumkit is the bass drum
I'm a guitar player and i'm learning drums with a really bad drumset, I'm a metalhead so I play pretty much metal only, do you recommend me getting this pedal or gettin better toms before a doublebass pedal?
@AfoHT I Have millenium PD-669 and i think they´re pretty good for beginners like me. and i have thoes millenium PD-669 pedals like some half years and they arent broken ( SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH ! )
@cameronappleyard1997 i just have the 669, that's why i can tell you that i don't recommend it. i haven't bought a new pedal yet. but the one in the video's got a quite good rating overall and has a low price (99 €) so it's probably sufficient for a beginner.
@kruchyftw , because they're too weak after a month they start to do not kick well, they start to loosen alone, and they have a goo probability that you're feet can't fits..
to the people who are debating about the best and besides cheapest doublebase pedals: understand the technique and make your own science. some of the cheapest are nearly the same construction like some of the most expensive. get those experiences, best part of life. and never forget to "don't believe the hype" regards
after 1 year of playing a metalpart was broken /no native english) my friend 3d printed me a new part. if you buy this youll have to purchase a 3d printer soon
@Mette B I was 13 at the time of this coment, sorry lmao, I was pissed of at the pedal because i didn't like it or wtv, I ended up buying a cobra one I think, but I'm sure if one know how to use it, it will not complain, I didn't know how to I guess lol.
I'm also a guitarist, but I love playing drums. Just ordered these, and if they feel good and last at least two years I'll be satisfied! Thanks.
How did they turn out ?
Yeah man how are they holding up?
could you please upload a video on how to set them up? It'd be really helpful :)
Thank you :D

@cameronappleyard1997 spend the extra 40 bucks on this pedal. i have the 669 and i don't recommend it.
@AfoHT , just because of that ? well that's a little fair, but come on !, cold have better ones !
The best advice I can give to a drummer: Stay away from Millenium products.
that pedal extrimely sucks, I have it and it sucks, that one makes me suicide, just don't buy it...(the person that sees this message)
