    Literally been trying to do this exact build in my head for weeks now. Thank yall so much. Havent been able to find those bumpers on a tundra yet with the lights, the winch, the alu cab, the roof rack, all of it. Answered my prayers lol. GREAT GREAT JOB ON THE BUILD!

    Nice build. Been living out of my 2007 Tundra for last 6 months and would love to upgrade to at least a 22' model with all those bells & whistles. The CrewMax has amazing room inside if you take out the all the seats except the driver enough room for a full single bed, refrigerator and 520Ah LIFePO4 bank and 1200VA inverter with bed for storage.

    Anyway to have a bed mounted transfer tank in the truckbed? with all the fumes and venting outside of the living area?

    Thanks for the video. We talked at OL Rocky Man West last year and I was going to order an All Cab for my 2013 Tacoma. Fast forward to today and I'm building out my low milage Duramax with a MoonLander Camper It should be installed sometime this month. With that being said I need to talk with you guys about other items for the build. I'll be in Flagstaff for OL West 2024. Love your work and hope to chat real soon.

      We skipped over the inside because we didn’t do any modifications other than a phone mount, but we certainly can include that in future build breakdowns!

    Love it. Is there some sort of sleeping platform that slides out or somnething? Just starting to look at this kind of thing so pardon my ignorance if the answer is obvious...

    • @beepsarieaniIwee
      @beepsarieaniIwee 6 месяцев назад +2

      At 6:20 where he’s sitting down on top of the goose gear you’ll see the roof is up so you can stand up. To sleep the right side of him pulls down and you climb up in there. Then if you wanted to you can pull the other hatch (left of him) down when you’re up there for a bigger bed platform but with this piece up it’s still a big area to sleep on. The fridge is is in the way but if it weren’t Goose gear makes these platform pieces to put on top of their storage/seating where another person can sleep on that in the truck bed . (downstairs) Hope this makes sense.

    As a new 2024 Tundra SR5 owner, are builds like this feasible without a TRD or TRD Pro? My wife and I are looking to get out away from the city for awhile but we won't need serious off road capability. My wife spent a lot of time in Iraq in tents so amenities and creature comforts are key to my strategy. Starlink, solar, batteries, and a shower would be mandatory. Would love to hear what you and the community think.

    • @thehautetexan9022
      @thehautetexan9022 4 месяца назад +1

      Absolutely possible! I have a new 2024 Tundra short bed SR5 and have ordered pretty much the same rig from Juniper Overland minus a few amenities. It is expected to arrive sometime in late April and then they will install. I don’t plan on doing any lift or serious modifications to the suspension, my days of serious off-roading in the backcountry are over but it will be nice to get to some places that most people can’t.

    Why buy a TRD Pro and then immediately rip out the suspension??

    • @JuniperOverland
      @JuniperOverland  4 месяца назад +1

      For the i-Force powertrain primarily, amongst other reasons.

    I wish it were possible to keep the tailgate.

    • @JuniperOverland
      @JuniperOverland  8 дней назад

      I'm curious for what purpose? This camper is a semi-permanent installation and has a single door rather than two different doors/tailgate to open just to get in?

    • @Moqui10
      @Moqui10 8 дней назад

      I’m a field biologist and work out of my Tundra an average of 175 nights a year. The tailgate is one of my central places of gear organizing, resting, working on reports, cooking, etc.
      The Alu-Cab is a great setup, but for my purposes, the lack of keeping the tailgate removed it from the running when I bought a new camper last year.
      If it were an option, I’d have absolutely gone with the Ali-Cab and would consider ditching my current setup if it did become an option.
      I realize that I’m probably in the minority here.
      Also, I purchased my old AT Habitat from y’all. Great company.

      I didn’t the vertical door, FWIW. Just needs room for the tailgate, for me.
