I love hearing about the Eclipse’s personally I own the 3rd gen not as loved but any eclipse other than the suv is amazing to me.

Had a talon tsi awd auto as a second car and after the headaches with motor and trans at 60k the car went 16.5 stock with some mixed matched parts and no more than 800 bucks in exaust, manual boost controller,stall converter,no pump ,no injectors and no tune car went 13.1 consistent just wish I could find a gsx for less then 5k clean
I love these cars,always wanted but not sure how reliable they are for a fun daily driver.

The Mitsubishi eclipse gs, gst, gsx are dope asf
and there is a widebody offered by carbonetics, yes parts for them are hard to find sometimes but if you spend abit of time looking they do have body kits and duckbills

I love the eclipses so bad I personally love the looks of gen 3 and I personally own one it'd be perfect if it wasn't that heavy but over all eclipse are mad god
False the rs and gs had a completely different motor than the gs-t and gsx. They were both dohc 2.0l 4 cylinders but that's where the similarities end
Rs, gs/gst, gsx those are the differences

the gst and gsx did not have the same engine as the rs and gs the rs and gs had a 420a from a neon and the gst and gsx had a 4g63t and yes they are both 2.0 but are both very different engines

i’ve owned every bad ass car you can own, 2 Datsun 280Z’s A 1993 Impreza WRX STI FULL JDM a mk3 supra and this mitsubishi is STILL my favorite she is the easiest fastest most enjoyable car a driver can own. TRUST ME DSM IS THE WAY
Which version is the best eclipse to get?
2nd gen
GSX or GST, don't get an RS or GS, clean parts are impossible to find for the latter because they aren't manufactured anymore and nobodies selling them, don't even bother looking at 3G's, if you aren't going to grab a 2G just forget it. The cars are old so prepare for frustration, failure and triumph, if you aren't prepared to take care of the car and just want a commute, probably shouldn't be looking into a 20 year old DSM.
How about the good the bad and the ugly on the Chevy Colorado 2004-2012 also keep up the good work

I get why you have to use the stock figures for the sake of the video but for the sake of real life its worth saying stock turbo dsm's basically don't exist... those are unicorns. All of them are modified and usually at least into the mid 300hp range.

My answer is no don't get it my aunt has a 96 that was under a cover most of its life with only 80 k and has had to dump 12 grand in maintenance

Princely why it's affordable, it's not a JDM car but Mitsubishi is definitely a Japanese manufacturer, the Eclipse is easily up there with the Supra and Skyline in terms of 90s iconic tuner cars.
