    Nice collection. The Nell dress is in a lovely material which suits the pattern 🙂

    All lovely as usual. A hint for the morning wanders around the garden. If you tie the sash of your robe with a windsor knot (the usual tie knot), it is less likely to come undone at an inopportune moment and is less bulky than the bow

    Loved all those makes. Re the fly on the trousers showing, could you re sew the button over a tiny bit to pull the waistband over a bit more? Would also help in making the front slightly smaller.
    You mentioned continuous zipper tape when you were talking about your zip front top. I’ve heard of it, but never used. Would love to see a tutorial about that.
    Really enjoyed this video, thanks

      Hi Julie, it's a good idea but sadly not as I actually opted for a press stud over a button! I made a little tutorial for continuous zipper tape for my instagram account:

    Love everything but especially the Thea pants and the WBM half zipper top. I’m in two minds about getting the Thea pattern as I’m also considering the DaughterJudy patterns Brier pants but I’m really not sure…..🤔 looking forward to seeing the wide leg pants sewn up and absolutely loving upstairs ❤
    And thank you for the mention about the dressing gown - mine is still in planning and progress stage 😮.

    I'm interested to see how your shirt turns out. I have some white linen that I bought last summer to make an oversized summer shirt but didn't get round to it. Like you I generally don't like my clothes too oversized, so more of a relaxed fit than massively oversized.

    • @JennyStitchesFabrics
      @JennyStitchesFabrics  6 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks, me too! I surprised myself with the oversized shirt from last year, it's nice with a fitted tank top underneath, if that makes sense it means the close fit is kind of retained :) xx

    Jenny you said you go with your actual measurements and not the finished garment measurements..is that right? I usually go with the finished measurements is that wrong? Fab makes!

    • @JennyStitchesFabrics
      @JennyStitchesFabrics  6 месяцев назад

      Hi! Body measurements are a guide as to which size to pick, whereas finished are the actual garment size once sewn up. The difference between the two is known as ease, which gives you room to move about inside the garment. Some patterns/designers have more ease than others so you can make a bit of an informed decision on sizing from comparing the two charts. I hope that helps! Jenny xx
