I had the same issue with a piece of denim that creased in the wash and I thought it was ruined 😢 A wonderful viewer advised me to overlock around each pattern piece and rewash everything, then iron it from damp AND IT WORKED 🎉 Totally saved my project because mine was bad enough to be unwearable. Other suggestions included soaking it in the bath. Hope one of those helps 😊
The George & Ginger Patterns The Extra Top (from the Old School Sewing Pattern range) has loads of options for sleeves and necklines. They actually have a lot of stretch fabric sewing patterns and I hardly hear anyone talk about them.
It could have been me talking about plans changing over time - guilty!! This is a good reminder for me to sort out my stash and autumn makes when I get home from my hols (yes, in bright sunshine). I recently made the new jeans from Sew House Seven (can’t remember the name) and I went for the patch front pocket option so fitting was a breeze as there are darts and side seams to play with. Happy Sewing 😊. Lynne
I have just sewn my first ever jersey t shirt with your white cotton jersey (the first time I have sewn with jersey fabric) and I'm really pleased with it. The jersey is so much better quality than with shop bought t shirts, I hadn't quite realised the difference until I tried it on and realised how good it felt. Some of your bamboo jersey arrived today, so once I've made some adjustments to the pattern, I'll give that a go.
Hi Jenny, regards the dress fabric I highly recommend The Roscoe it’s a beautiful pattern, it’s so so easy to sew and it looks beautiful with a cardigan. I have made so many Roscoe’s for me & my daughters ❤️.
How about a Hinterland Dress?….. I have the pattern, haven’t made it yet though (like quite a few of the many patterns I have…😂) It does look great, I fancy making one in warmer fabric for winter wear with opaque tights. By the way, I’d like to apologise once again for the misunderstanding regarding the bag hardware this week. I do feel bad about that 😢
We all (well I have) those half finished projects all for different reasons and sometimes so little would finish them! Not sure why it happens but in one of mine it was because the fabric had a whiteish back on dark fabric and the frill was going to show it and I didn’t like that! So beautiful fabric in a pile 😢 I like the look of the Raj dress as mentioned by Lynne Prentice. I can’t say I have noticed it before 😮 I look forward to your new pile of finished projects soon xx
For the dashwood fabric you could make the PE easy fit shirt, I think that's what it's called, you made a white one, lengthening it to make a dress and make a belt

I am looking at the Sinclair Patterns Shelly Dress as a winter dress. Would be great in your party spot fabric 😊
Gorgeous plans Jenny ❤

I do hope you can get some or all of those made soon. Those cotton jerseys would look great with the pinafore.
@@annettecowburn-sz8cq oh me too! I think a few of them will be pretty easy to tick off too. Looking forward to having the pinafore in the wardrobe xx

For the Dashwood sample - try the Tammy Handmade Raj dress. It’s a lovely sew and I think it would suit you and the fabric ❤️
@@lynneprentice4278 thanks Lynne, I’ll take a look at that one! X
Style Arc Asha dress is a nice long sleeve viscose pattern
