I would suggest you to try and test graphics mods here on gta 5, I have a gtx 1050 2gb and gta 5 with graphics mod works good. I dont have the best graphics mod ofc but it would be good to see that in this channel. Anyways, even if you dont test those, this is still the best gpu test channel so keep up the good work and have a nice rest of the day

Anti aliasing and vegetation really does a number on the 3070, especially out in the boonies where there is a lot of grass and shrubbery. Oftentimes the framerate in Sandy Shores will tank into the mid 40s if you are playing with anti aliasing 4x at 1440p or 2x at 4k. It might be a VRAM issue since the card only has 8GB, because the framerate quickly corrects itself when, i assume, old buffered data is cycled out.
I love you testing out gpu's and giving your opionin and facts about the card. It's makes me weary of which one to buy and get. Love the content keep it up mate 👍
the 3070 is very much capable of delivering for GTA V a stable 4k 60 fps performance even going so far as 2x MSAA as long as you keep the grass at very high instead of ultra and the post fx to high instead of ultra and the shadows to soft instead of Nvidia PCSS. I made a video explaining why Nvidia PCSS looks terrible, you lose a ton of detail, and if you approach a shadow up close it will render the high res version anyway, so the transition will be too noticeable. That is why I prefer soft shadows. i honestly dont notice the difference in visuals with these few tweaks, but if i instead decide to keep them all at ultra and play at 0x MSAA for roughly the same FPS, even at 4k you will still see some jaggies and turning on FXAA blurs the entire image at which point you might as well be playing at 2k and enable 4x MSAA and never drop below 60, so forget FXAA

Yessir! Autofull sent it :) I set the power management to max performance and the texture filtering as well. Just because I've been doing it for years, it doesn't do much, it just keeps the GPU clock speed at max the entire time.
I enjoyed this one. The cheats were fun to watch! The 3070 is still great. Bit overkill unless playing in 4k. Nowadays the 3070 struggles with 1440p let alone 4K... and it's only what, 2 years old? At least it should be good for 1080p for a long time. Maybe. Assuming new AA+ games get better optimized! Kinda crazy how cpu intensive online can be. I expected the Ryzen to reach the engine limit but it mostly couldn't! If only it used more than 4c/8t.
TBH all GPUs struggle at ultra! Even the brand new 4070 struggles at 1440p Ultra especially with ray tracing and no DLSS. I think game devs are just starting to max out the consoles. Consoles have up to like 16GB vram which means devs can be lazy and load up textures like mad without optimizing. IMO no modern gpu aside from the best of the best like a 4090 will last long at 1440p or 4k. Basically no reasonably priced GPU can play Ultra settings like the good ol days (on new games).
Hey kryzzp, my rtx 3070 laptop GPU is underperforming rn, i am getting 40-50 fps kese 8n csgo, around 30 fps less in gta and other games. My wattage is fine going upto 140w and temps are below 75 most of the time. You have a rtx 3070 laptop too. In my case the cpu is i7 12700h 14c/20t. I would love to see some benchmarks sometime of modern games like cyberpunk, tlou etc. Keep growing 💗:)

@zWORMzGaming In versions 1.8.9 and older spam-clicking does damage to the enemy. In newer versions there's a cooldown (little line under the crosshair).

I would like to inquire about why a CPU with a usage level of 26% is considered to be bottlenecking the GPU, despite not fully restricting the GPU's performance, as opposed to situations where the CPU reaches 100% utilization. I am unclear about the concept of CPU bound when its usage is only at 29%.

Hi kryzzp can you start testing out the rtx 4070ti a bit on more games and can you try testing out watch dogs 2 since it's still really intensive til this day or maybe try doing a series of recommended settings on games on each card would maybe be banger since most of us don't know what settings to sacrifice thank you big fan keep it up 😊
Is there any way to improve Performance in GTA 5 or run it in DXVK? I have an ARC A770 16GB and GTA 5 is one of these older Games that just runs not so well on it, big Driver Overhead on the CPU. A shame that the upgraded GTA 5 Version is PS5/XBox exclusive since PC is the superior Platform :/
Its up on Intel to improve their drivers for you to have a good perfomance in the games. I think you might be out of options and just wait for driver updates, but i might be wrong, maybe someone knows an alternative way to improve the perfomance on ARC gpus.
@@gateopssss usually I just mod my Games into DXVK(better driver optimization for that) by simply adding some .dll files into the Game Folders, but unfortunately GTA 5 is that one Game that doesn't accept that. And I didn't find any mods for that. But since GTA 5 is still a popular Titel, it will get better I think. I'm still getting 70 FPS so it's not umplayable :)

@@gateopssss 70 FPS with Kryzzps custom settings at 1440p. Before I had a 3060 12GB which GIGABYTE broke while RMA(Yep that really happened) and with the refund i bought the A770. With the 3060 I got double of that. But you are absolutely right, and I'm happy with the Card. For recent DX12 titles it's as fast as the 3060 ti at the moment and has 16GB Vram which is awesome(unlike the 4060 ti *caugh*). The drivers are getting better and better whith each Update and it's so fun watching you Hardware getting better and better! I mean GTA is old at this point and released on the ps3 back then, a thing to notice is that the 3060 ti is much faster in this game than the 4060 ti, so even newer Nvidia Cards are not optimal for it. Just a funny thing to see that GTA just doesn't like newer architectures :D And tbh after that 4060 ti launch Intel has a big Chance when the next Generation comes! Just thought maybe someone knows something, since 95% of my DX11 games are easily runnable in DXVK. Then I just have to wait until it get's better!

It's not irrelevant, it's just a bad buy today for 1440p specifically, judging by how the new games consume a lot of VRAM

I have formated my pc, updated the drivers and bios. The problem stay the same.

Hi kryzzp can you start testing out the rtx 4070ti a bit on more games and can you try testing out watch dogs 2 since it's still really intensive til this day or maybe try doing a series of recommended settings on games on each card would maybe be banger since most of us don't know what settings to sacrifice thank you big fan keep it up 😊

Hi, it will be a bottleneck but most games will probably be GPU bound on ultra at 1080p and high at 1440p

Is there any way to improve Performance in GTA 5 or run it in DXVK? I have an ARC A770 16GB and GTA 5 is one of these older Games that just runs not so well on it, big Driver Overhead on the CPU. A shame that the upgraded GTA 5 Version is PS5/XBox exclusive since PC is the superior Platform :/
Its up on Intel to improve their drivers for you to have a good perfomance in the games. I think you might be out of options and just wait for driver updates, but i might be wrong, maybe someone knows an alternative way to improve the perfomance on ARC gpus.
@@gateopssss usually I just mod my Games into DXVK(better driver optimization for that) by simply adding some .dll files into the Game Folders, but unfortunately GTA 5 is that one Game that doesn't accept that. And I didn't find any mods for that. But since GTA 5 is still a popular Titel, it will get better I think. I'm still getting 70 FPS so it's not umplayable :)
@@timsrama7578 70 FPS in what resolution/settings? 70 fps sounds great to me with that GPU, but then again, i'd say this is more of a "wait for drivers update" since it's a directx
@@gateopssss 70 FPS with Kryzzps custom settings at 1440p. Before I had a 3060 12GB which GIGABYTE broke while RMA(Yep that really happened) and with the refund i bought the A770. With the 3060 I got double of that. But you are absolutely right, and I'm happy with the Card. For recent DX12 titles it's as fast as the 3060 ti at the moment and has 16GB Vram which is awesome(unlike the 4060 ti *caugh*). The drivers are getting better and better whith each Update and it's so fun watching you Hardware getting better and better! I mean GTA is old at this point and released on the ps3 back then, a thing to notice is that the 3060 ti is much faster in this game than the 4060 ti, so even newer Nvidia Cards are not optimal for it. Just a funny thing to see that GTA just doesn't like newer architectures :D And tbh after that 4060 ti launch Intel has a big Chance when the next Generation comes!
Just thought maybe someone knows something, since 95% of my DX11 games are easily runnable in DXVK. Then I just have to wait until it get's better!

Прирост по 0.1 ФПС там небольшой, по тестам видно.
В общем 3070ти ниочём карта и брать её точно не стоит, ни с магаза(ибо за эти деньги 4070 есть), ни с бу

The 3060 is a decent card although overpriced (still). I'd grab like an RX 6700XT which costs slightly more and it performs like a 3070!
