Jace has ordered a load lid to place on the bed / tub and will be set for any weekend trips or holidays to come after his visit to Big Dog Builds.
We opted for one of the best suspension setups available for the RAM 1500 and paired this with a great set of wheels and tyres then added a simple and smart 12v power setup able to be removed at a campsite within a minute or so. The Switchpro controller can simply change between auxiliary battery and vehicle main battery if he wants to keep the fridge running while the auxiliary battery is left at camp.
Worklights all round, a massive 51" LED Lightbar to the front of the rack and a nice Australian made 180 degree awning means Jace will be out of the weather and have a safe and comfortable set up wherever he decides to adventure to.

How do the air bags affect the off-road performance? I’m looking to do something like this with a carli pintop king kit on my ram 2500

Just about to pick up my rebel from ausmv Melbourne next week. Love the roof top package. Also , considering axel weights how much does the battery system amd fridge add to rear axel weights. You only in qld? Thanks
Unsure of total weights after this build sorry. Wasn’t heavy that’s for sure. And yes only in QLD for now. 👌
What offset did you go with in the wheels? Do you have a measurement from before and after the lift from the ground? With the fox suspension with the rear do the shocks give it a 2 inch lift or just changing the rear spring give it a 2 inch lift?

@@erikfrandsen8249I believe they’re 18x8.5 with 0 offset. I have these wheels now and went with 18x9.5 -18. Looks great.

How do the rear HD coils feel as a daily driver, no constant load in the bed?

This ram now has a load lid on the tub which he has strapped the spare wheel too as it’s rated for it 👌
To get the 3” up front are the coil overs maxed out?
@@teedup-81 I think you have a better chance at getting a response from BDS. They just came out with their 3inch fox kit and from what they told me it’s a true 3 inch system is what they said.
