Hi my husband is from Djerba and unfortunately there are no direct flights from London to Djerba. We normally drive from the UK. But the only other way is from London to Paris and then to Djerba or via Tunis. Its a shame because my husband was out there end of November to 3rd December and he could have been your guide. Thank you for promoting Tunisia and especially Djerba. In 2010 the uk used to do package deals to Djerba but then the revolution, terrorism and Covid has taken its toll and no longer package hols to Djerba do not exist.
During the summer you will see French, Germans, Italians and Dutch but that's it. Hope you're enjoying the food xx

A good list except for the Casino. You guys need to stop telling people to go there. it is only impressive to you locals. That building is just a nice cafe/ bar nothing less nothing more so no dont go to the casino but discover the rest of the list.

Djerba is on our itnerary for our visit to Tunisia . Many years ago, Djerba had quite the Jewish settlement . There ia a ancient Synagogue called El Ghriba that we would like to visit. Great video

There is still a fair sized Jewish community in Djerba. If you want to visit the Synagogue, do make sure it's open before you set off. I attempted to go there on Thursday, only to find when I got there that it was closed for four days!
Many Tunisian Jews still live there, also in Tunis (Chez Joseph famous for making sandwiches) and Sousse although in much smaller communities than back in the day.
I watched all the tunisian journeys. And I'm really enjoying watching this amazing couple. I'm a ESS fan (Sousse 's biggest team). and looking forward to keep watching you both. Enjoy TUNISIA.

Looks a beautiful hotel and especially the pools etc . That bar was insane and exactly how hotel bars should be in my opinion. We have terrible luck with hotel bars as they are the most depressing lifeless places I’ve ever had a beer at and honestly I’d say at least 99 per cent have been dull and badly run , great as always 👍

Thank you for sharing your awesome experience in Djerba! I would definitely visit the island if I can. but you guys must go to Tabarka's La Cigale otherwise i'm gonna say you haven't experience Tunisian european-ish luxury. Plus the Northwest of Tunisia is perfect during spring with relatively cheaper prices than the high season so I would not miss it.

there's a direct bus from tunis to djerba it will cost you 33dinars or from sousse to djerba will cost 24 dinars
In the past (10 years ago)‚ Tunisia was more cheaper than this cuz the economical system is so fkn bad ‚ even tho it's cheaper than many other countries. Anyway‚ both of you're rly the best i love the way how u talk.keep going you're both doing a great job. Peace ✌🏻 ur fan from Tunisia 🇹🇳❤️🙌

transport in tunisia is not that bad depends on ur budget because there is a lot of companies for comfort transport in a private luxury car with wifi and stuff and a driver

I love that you show Djerba off season. Maybe that's why the Radisson Hotel costs less. I definitelly didn't thought of doing a Djerba holiday in winter, but after watching your vlog I would spend holidays there. Is it struggle getting to Djerba off season (way less flights? I don't think I would do the taxi adventure, but enjoyed watching you do it.

You can normally get a train to Gabis from Sousse, and a louage to Djerba capital.
On the way back we got a louage from Djerba to Sfax, it took about 3/4 hours we stopped at a transport cafe for lunch which was very traditional food serving mostly truck and louage drivers and was exceptionally clean. Sfax is really worth visiting not touristy at all very authentic.

The best way to travel in Tunisia is by car. I always rent a car when we're in Tunisia. It's not expensive and it's really worth it. Love your videos ♥️💙

The best method to travel around Tunisia and enjoy it is to hier a Car, dirt cheap and you can go to beautiful remote places and you will always find hotels in Tunisia even in the heart of the desert ,
no to fault the public transport as its not targeted to tourism because of the flow of mass package holiday that way the transport is always taking care of .

I was in Djerba this week, from Tuesday till yesterday morning. But blimey, a 10 hour journey??! I would have just gone back up to Tunis and flown down to Djerba. Tunisair Express fly that route three times a day, and if you buy your tickets in Tunisia rather than overseas, you're looking at around 40 quid each way for a one hour flight, tops.
i make the trip one time you feeling yourself like a jetsetter in a private flight

it's not usual to make travel in louage and this part (dirty south) it is journey with a car and the average tunisian never do that ! but we apreciate your courage to make a double louage trip !
