When I was teaching my kids to drive I used to make them drive down that hill, turn around at the bottom and drive back up and of course a hill start at the give way at the top.
@@alistairgleave No they were OK, I didn't do it straight off but once they were confident it was fine. We live just outside of Torquay so I would take them all around the Warberries area also steep and narrow to build up their confidence, and it worked they both passed first time fairly quickly. I really enjoy seeing my home area from other people's perspective.
Found this pub by mistake in December and had a pint and thought what a lovely place but said i wouldnt go in the summer or if i did would get a taxi !!
i remember when when uncle milke's milk float lost control going down here in the snow and he ended up in the sea. to this day you can still find the sea smoothed glass from his broken bottles on the beach. very funny morning that one. we were all too busy laughing to notice him drown.
Loved the video
Look forward to seeing more of your travels
Thanks for your comment, plenty more trips are planned so do subscribe (if you've not already) so you can hear about them first...
Nicely done, but you should've stayed at the pub, I didn't want to go back up 😭🍺
Ha ha, I think I'll save that for a future video 😹
superb
keep it up
I plan to....

Not sure what to say about that, I hope he didnt drown....
@@alistairgleave he did. At low tide you can see his headstone.
Are there any changing rooms at babbacome beach.
Nope, there is just a toilet block
Easy 15 minute walk if you're a local. 🤣
Presumably you're talking downhill NOT walking back :)
10 down, 15 up. Btw there is an easier path right by the cliff railway. 👍@@alistairgleave
@@stuartgibbons7888 that's speedy and yes I should video that as it's quite a nice walk...
