Well I have to be honest this depends on the sunshine, but in all honesty I do think it will take quite a while as even in full sun it isnt the quickest. I use mine as a simple top up option if i'm out walking on the moors or the like - for this its perfectly fine.

100% agree with that, loads of interesting architecture to see and things going on...

Thanks for your comment, interestingly the title of the video comes from what Temu sold me - i.e. 30W, interestingly the largest panel has undergone a separate test and I reckon its around the 10W mark, maybe a little more but you're correct not 30W. Hi thanks for your comment, I'd check the wattage required first and is it charging a battery and will in be in full sunlight - all important questions before relying on solar for what I guess is an important camera?

Yes I would agree, I was thinking somewhere around the 10-15W mark max, certainly no more as the test I did was in late July, in the middle of the day with full sun when I would expect it to have the max power... thanks for your comment.

Yes you're right we haven't bench tested them in a controlled environment. I've just used them in a mobile situation to provide top up power and for that I find it ideal.

So long as you have the right connector you'll be fine...

For me I could best summarise by saying you need bright sunlight to get the max energy into the panel, if you have that then you'll be fine - as for power banks and the like all fine and more than enough energy.

Sounds like you may have a different version to the one I tested, I always go 'live' straight into the appliance, phone etc..

I plan to test with an amp meter this summer, so i'll let you know - I can only go on what I was told at time of purchase, so it will be interesting to see if that's anywhere near correct...

Good comment, and there is a clear difference between the three panels and this year the plan is to test them with an amp meter to check/confirm what exactly is being generated.... I will post the results on this channel

@@alistairgleaveA watt meter would be better. There's a blue watt meter on ebay/aliexpress that I really recommend.

If there's no controller sold with the panel you know the panel is less than 20 watts. The panel you have is 10 watts.

@@britishtechguru I charge car batteries though the OBDII port with a solar charger of less than 2 amps so I need a controller.

Hi thanks for your comment, I'm afraid I didn't run that test but if I was then that would depend on the battery capacity, charging capacity and the amount of amps the panel can generate over that charging time. I see the panel more as a top up maybe when camping for example or sat outside a pub in the summer for a few hours...

The biggest panel in this video is exactly 10 watts not 30 watts at 18 volts.
