The cmd line trick did it. The only thing that actually worked. My laptop keyboard started having issues and a key was stuck spamming most of the time. Thanks.

Then I’m in the middle of a document, and it starts to type all kinds of stuff except anything that made sense. My W key on the keyboard had gotten stuck and I’m in the middle of repairing it but in doing so I realized I had some other keys that were sticking, so that being said, I thought it would probably be easier for me to just order a new one and replace it. THAT was several months ago because I’m now using an external keyboard but still had the same problem with it out of the blue starts typing a gazillion W’s. Between this video and one other, you know, for a second opinion if u will. WELL! Both of you said the same thing with the message you use here but with a different twist. So, I went ahead and did Isaac instructed and I can’t believe my eyes! IT WORKED!!!! Whoo-HOOOOOO! It actually fucking worked! THANK YOU so very very much.!!!! Y’all probably just restored 100% of my sanity! YOU FRICKEN ROCK!!! 🎉
no idea if some1 already said this but a good way to enable the keybaord again without another keyboard is to make a bat file let me explain. Go to your desktop and rightclick. Then go to new Then click new text document. open the document and type sc config i8042prt start= auto go to file ==> save as now safe the file as "whatever you want".bat now if you click on the bat file you can restart your laptop and the keyboard will work again. you can also make a file to disable the keyboard the exact same way.

Well, the method works for every even restart. But it's not permanent unfortunately. So now I start up my laptop, use this method, restart it and it's good for the day. However if I restart it once more the original problem returns and the internal keyboard is active again. Is there a way to make this command method be permanent?
