@@Avibadoni2850 RM wrote lyrics for this song because JK was struggling to do it. RM said he wrote lyrics based on JK admitting how hard is for him to see how others are struggling and crying. Boys were crying listening to JK talking, not singing.

Basically Begin is a song for his band mates and how he sees them and loves them like family... and how he appreciates all that they did and do for him...
This is his love letter to his Hyungs, who really did raise him since he was 13, he's so precious I love him
cant believe he was only 19 here. The stamina, endurance and stability is insane especially when you take into account he had just performed 3/5 songs before this with little break. Jaw dropping and a testement to his incredible work ethic and passion.

And this was before he had his current stamina and vocal ability. He had some more extensive vocal lessons recently and his stamina has grown exponentially. If he did this now you would probably not hear him breathe whatsoever. I remember him slightly regretting being out of breath back then. But imagine pulling this off like that? He's insane

This is why he is loved by everyone. I remember Jimin and Namjoon (Suga was emotional while listening) almost cried during an interview while talking about this. JK said that it makes him sad when his older brothers (BTS) are suffering.

God! Theses lyrics are so precious. We know how much he loves his brothers. This performance was outstanding, the coreography is so apt & JK at that age pulled it off so well. JK King of Tallent. I just love him for all that he has to give. 💕
i can’t stress enough how hard that performance is to pull it off especially with stable vocals and especially after having performed 4 songs with the group. jungkook is something else, he’s a true athlete and performer.

In the comments the amount of songs JK performs before Begin keeps on changing and it could be confusing:
In Newark, Begin was the 5th song (1st of the solos), performed after 4 hard group openers (Not Today, Am I Wrong, Baepsae, Dope) and a VCR intermission as pause.
In the Wings: The Final (BangBangCon showed both the "normal" Wings tour, and The Final, which was cool for comparison) instead, Begin is the 6th song and there's more room to breathe, since it opens with 4 group songs (Mic Drop, We Are Bulletproof pt.1, We Are Bulletproof pt.2, Hip Hop Lover), then gets to the rap line with 4 Cyphers and then a VCR intermission, before it's time for Begin.
What 19yo JK managed to do for the entirety of Wings tour by performing Begin as 5th song is right there between amazing and concerning. The entire Wings setlist is impossible, they barely had time to breathe from start to end. I think they got better with time at pacing themselves at concerts by going for slightly more human setlists, but if you have never watched a Wings concert from start to end I'd definitely suggest doing it, it's an experience in vicarious exhaustion 😄
