honestly, ARMYs are heavily engaged and always have something to discuss because BTS provides the content which ranges from humor, entertainment, social awareness, musicality, the human psyche, and so on and so forth. ARMY is a hard-working fandom because BTS is a crazily hard-working group of talents and good people. 💜 OH YES, THEY ARE FUN. hahahaha i can't wait for you to see their dorky and funny sides. they're very humble and real. 😊

Exactly, Joanie...well said.' Truth is it is the quintessential partnership for exactly these reasons. They each value the other exactly as much as they ought. BTS loves their ARMY and ARMY loves their BTS boys. It is absolutely beautiful. I was introduced by my teen daughter while they were still working to find a stage. I've watched their whole journey. You will not find a partnership as beautiful as this one, anywhere. It's authentic and yes, powerful. Love these young people. They embody the hope Hobi has trademarked...and our world needs all the hope it can find.

I really recommend burn the stage. You get to see them behind the scenes of their concert tour and it's fascinating the kind of life they live and yet able to remain so humble and real.
RM writes a lot of BTS' music. He has the most out of the group with 143 songs credited to his name. Once Black Swan gets added, it'll be 144 songs.
ah well regarding the other artists doing like charity and stuff, many others do! it's just BTS made it central to their brand, in a way. Other artists such as Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, etc. does donate and use their voice for good but BTS, yeah well they make it their forefront and primary goal to make music and be the voice of those who can't speak. Sorry I suck at explaining lmao

"Where that comes from?" is a very good question that we all ponder. It's absurd how these seven extremely passionate, humble natured and with generally very good characteristics guys came together in the same time in the same company. What a stroke of destiny. Of course, the company also played a big role in shaping them this way, because the company gave them much support and artistic freedom. I remember Hitman Bang reminding them that this fame won't last forever and eventually it might be their fans who lead their destruction. He said this years ago.
Where does the passion and drive for such artistry come for these guys? MAYBE because they had discovered this passion as a child and really fought through thick and thin to do what they are doing. Some of them were absolutely broke and the CEO helped fund them through college even when the company was near bankruptcy, some of their parents had heavily disagreed but they kept going at it and such and such. Where does the love for the fans come from? If you watch the Make It Right ft Lauv MV, it shows BTS's story. They've always seen their fans as their friend, their lover and someone who protects them. In the MV, the guy is BTS and the girl is ARMY. They girl turns into a cape and as the guy goes through this hard journey, the cape is always protecting him. So yeah, i guess that's where the gratefulness comes from. But fo course this is just a tiny part of everything.
"...eventually it might be their fans who lead their destruction..." Sadly, I see the possibilities of Hitman Bang's words unfolding. But for the meantime, let us all revel in the era of BTS. 💜
This just touches on their charitable acts. The boys regularly give to both large worldwide programs and to small places in their hometowns. And we as a fandom reflect their good works. We have a fan run organized Charity group called OneInAnArmy.com where they organize monthly charity campaigns for ARMY to support. During the boys birthday months they chose charities based on the boys likes. Armys are helping people all over the world. Go to the website and check out our achievements.
BTS has raised about 2.5 mil for UNICEF and they also work with the United Nations Generation X initiative where they are training young adults in 3rd world countries to gain job skills.
I think part of the reason ARMY is so engaged is because nobody else gets it right. As you already saw in parts, most of the journalism covering BTS barely scratches the surface, or doesn't try at all. Therefore, ARMYs have taken it upon themselves to spread the word and promote BTS.

Honestly I don't know any other artist out there who's doing what BTS is or has done. They are global artists who is using their music and fame for a positive impact and these are just things that are mentioned in the media. BTS has made donations in ARMY's name and ARMY has done the same in BTS name. Who else does that!!! This is the greatest fandom I've ever known and so happy to be a part of. My love for kpop begins and ends with BTS 💜

BlackPink is an entry drug to get you hooked and BTS is the lifetime meal that you stay for. I was also brought in by this combo years ago and honestly I haven't bothered listening to any western music since x'D they have the best dancing, the most wholesome lyrics and personalities, the most humble, smart, creative and the ultimate rags to riches, David beats Goliathe story. Their music spans many genre's so you never get bored, you get introduced to genre's you'd not consider liking before, and each ARMY is helped by them in some way shape or form. There's just no reason to not enjoy and encourage them. So wholesome.
Can't think of other artists like BTS. They're on another level for real.
After you get to know BTS and their music, you should watch RUN BTS episodes. They’ve basically been doing their own reality tv show since the beginning. They play dumb games and challenges for prizes ($100 gift card, bragging rights, etc) and losers usually get a penalty (wearing funny hat to airport, waking early to fix breakfast, etc) Their staff also play games with them while on tour; like staring contest, name the country capitals, word play games, etc. These guys are always goofing around, playing and having fun. It’s part of what has kept them so close and making it a good time, even through 14-16 hour days. BigHit has also taken them on trips for a photo shoot or vacation and filmed it. Those are Bon Voyage Seasons 1-4 and Summer Packages 1-3 and Winter Package 1. These types of shows endear them even more to ARMY and show us they are just 7 regular guys.
Fun fact: Suga (슈가) got his stage name from the first syllables of his basketball position, Shooting Guard (슈팅 가드) shoo-ga
RM didn’t get to finish telling Ellen, but ARMY is an acronym for Adorable Representative MCs for Youth. The name matched their early philosophy of protecting the underrepresented. Though some think it is a little cheesy now, it has the potential to always grow with the fandom because BTS’s morals have stayed the same all these years - just broadened in scope - and ARMYs are signed up for life to support them and try to be extensions of their work to help others.

As an I-Army for several years now, I can say no group has ever touched me like BTS and I am 34 lol. They truly shine so much brighter then others because of the many reasons people have posted. They truly opened up my world and have such great messages and are truly amazing artists. Thank you for taking your time to know them like we do. Also thank you for all your hard work and great reactions! I love watching them!

Everyone wants him to react to video compilations about the boys but I'm hyped for him to react to more music lol. I love his reactions. The three rappers (RM, Suga and j-hope) all have mixtapes out and they are soooo good. RM also has a lot of collabs (Warren G, Krizz Kaliko) and early solo rap releases that are so good. ARMY's love bts because it really is a give and take. I've never seen artists or celebs being so involved and in love with their fans as BTS are. They do everything they can to make sure that we're loved and thought of. They put out so much content for us that I've never seen an artist do before. From free mixtapes and songs to vlogs, vacation vlogs, discussions, they go live often and talk about their day or chat with army's on weverse. Tell me another artist that does this? none. And they are sincere and genuine and that's something you can't fake.

I think BTS has made us like this many of us found some kind of comfort in BTS like for instance me I was sooooo depressed before BTS like it’s crazy to say it but they helped me and they still do help me cope with it just the smallest thing from them makes my heart just flutter .. many people criticize us ARMYs but I’m telling y’all they have a special place in my heart they really do make a difference in some people’s lives, many just like their music and appreciate them but for some of us BTS means love, for some of us BTS means Home, BTS for some of us means a safe place full of love.. and I know BTS is not that deep it’s just music but like wow you can just connect to them .. lmao do I make sense?

For the acronym of ARMY, it means Adorable Representative MC for Youth
They can all speak a bit of Japanese, Chinese and they learn a few lines in other languages (in the country they have their concert at). The best video is “Who is BTS? The seven members of Bangtan introduction” and “BTS contribution to music”. Also, remember that their story is told through the music they write, not the music videos. The music videos are a collaborative work and so they won’t be as deeply knowledgeable with their music videos. They participate ideas for the MV, but there’s a whole bunch of people to help with the visuals. Overall, the main thing for them is the lyrics.
It is SO MUCH FUN going back and watching you discover these guys!
For me, I can personally say that I’ve never been a part of a bigger fandom, and yes army’s can seem intimidating because we’re so many lol and you can definitely feel it even more on Twitter! Sometimes we trend thing on accident only because we’re so engaged xD
They are hilarious! In addition to their music they have been doing a weekly web based tv show called Run. They have challenges or experience things for the first time. They are fun to watch.
If you wanna find out just how funny these guys are, and how much fun the have with each other, watch their variety show Run. It’s on Vlive and I think now on Weverse. You probably won’t be able to react to them, because those do get copyrighted very quickly, but they’re very good and they also help to get to know them better. They have a few other shows, but Run is free and still ongoing.

I think Blackpink also do a lot of campaign to raise awareness and participate in charity all over the world? Blackpink is female version of BTS and they use their power and fame to help bring attention to worthy causes.
Bts has such a broad catalogue of music to fit everyones taste...they are very engaging and to get to know them better, you can watch their weekly show Bts Run every tuesday as well. as you get to know them more, check out their solo work as well

I started 2015 when no one was willing to listen to them and instead of them sulking and giving up they made more music that is relatable to the mass.. they are doing a lot of great things and ot touches thousands of fans across the seas, borders and countries 💜

All I know their Love Yourself campaign with UNICEF they donate in certain percentage for every album in Love Yourself series that you (may will to) buy, and the merch too.
BTS is in my daily life. My nephew even asked me if in the future, they disband, whom I’m going to listen to?!? Wow! I have not even thought or want to think about it at all. Their exist and music have been driving my life for so many years.

Thank you for reacting to this series to get to know the group more, each member brings something to the table and together they are a really strong team. They are a really fun group and are hilarious together. They have a lot of behind the scenes type footage from mv's to performances to vlogs or live posts they do, you get to see more of their day to day interactions with each other and their personalities. I think with BTS even though there are artist that do charity work or donations, for them it's really important to them as a group and even personally to be involved in big projects that do important work. Their Love Yourself Campaign that partnered with Unicef's program to help end violence against children is something that they are extremely passionate about. Not only have they raised a lot for the program but each member has personally donated to Unicef as well as other projects that are important to them and the members usually give donations to projects on their birthdays so many fans have started doing the same. Thank you for your reaction! There are other artists that are UNICEF goodwill ambassadors, but BTS is definitely the most active and vocal, incorporating a campaign into their music, albums, tours, etc.

So glad you are getting to know them better... Their isn't any other group\artist that does things like BTS that around today.. They have started a new standard... BigHit did debut another group March of last year called TXT(Tomorrow by Together). BigHit has them on a similar path.
Hopefully you can check out BTS on the Grammys this weekend, IHeart Awards on Monday, and Late Late Show on Tuesday... BTS will be doing Black Swan on the Late Late Show. Not sure what they are doing on the Award Shows though

there is a saying that u will find bts when u really need them, for example me, I was really barely hanging when I started to know them and I am not a teenager in puberty who think life is hard (no offence to teenagers , their lives can be very hard too but u know what I mean), I am 34 and I went through so much I was really loosing every reason to live when I found them. their music msges their personalities the puzzles everythig , there would be at least something for anyone if they really get to know them open mind . the fans and BTS struggled together till this point, the bond isnt comparable to anything else.

BTS is performing at the Grammys this Sunday with Lil Nas X. Last year while Lil nas x made all those version of Old Town Road he ask BTS leader name RM to do a version. So RM did a version call Seoul Town Road (Seoul a city in Korea) Its a lyric version on RUclips please react and then watch the award show Sunday. BTS is the only kpop group to attend American Award. They performed American Music Award 2017 ,perform Billboard Award 2018 has won 3 billboard .Grammy Award snubbed bts for nomination eventho they did as good or better as this year nominees. BTS fans angry at Grammy but they are to perform a stage will Lil Nas and other singing old Town Road . ,that hurt fans because we want them to sing there own song. But in 2018 one of bts members said he wanted to perform at grammy so fan are happy for them
