This man has lived his passion and been a "guardian" for over 30 years. Who of us can say we have done the same? I am humbly grateful to those who dedicate their life to protecting those who cannot speak. A selflessly beautiful act that represents the dreams of man... whose souls long to live freely, as the horses of Camargue.
They're really very beautiful, pretty and gorgeous horses. I like Camargue horses from France 🇲🇫 very much as they're very tough, strong and hardy horses surviving in the wild areas like beaches, marshlands and also forests. Thanks. 😃🐴🐎❤
That is to love nature, to understand it, to respect its balance and to ensure its safety, this man deserves great respect for his work, he is truly a hero.
I wonder how their hooves are kept healthy, given the marshy environment and water and wet sand ? Perhaps the Guardians round them up and tend to all their hooves ? Wonderful video, the horses are so beautiful. 💕🌈🌿
And the sound of a crow... shrieks loud, but fades by this word, to pattern tranquility.... through the water, a fall brief and turned to cut through, the mist of mighty waterfalls come to call... the falling... was that into place? The rus...tic form of grace-GIPW?
Horses on the Camargue by Roy Campbell died 23 April 1957 (aged 55) In the grey wastes of dread, The haunt of shattered gulls where nothing moves But in a shroud of silence like the dead, I heard a sudden harmony of hooves, And, turning, saw afar A hundred snowy horses unconfined, The silver runaways of Neptune's car Racing, spray-curled, like waves before the wind. Sons of the Mistral, fleet As him with whose strong gusts they love to flee, Who shod the flying thunders on their feet And plumed them with the snortings of the sea; Theirs is no earthly breed Who only haunts the verges of the earth And only on the sea's salt herbage feed- Surely the great white breakers gave them birth. For when for years a slave, A horse of the Camargue, in alien lands, Should catch some far-off fragrance of the wave Carried far inland from this native sands, Many have told the tale Of how in fury, foaming at the rein, He hurls his rider; and with lifted tail, With coal-red eyes and cataracting mane, Heading his course for home, Though sixty foreign leagues before him sweep, Will never rest until he breathes the foam And hears the native thunder of the deep. And when the great gusts rise And lash their anger on these arid coasts, When the scared gulls career with mournful cries And whirl across the waste like driven ghosts; When hail and fire converge, The only souls to which they strike no pain Are the white crested fillies of the surge And the white horses of the windy plain. Then in their strength and pride The stallions of the wilderness rejoice; They feel their Master's trident in their side, And high and shrill they answer to his voice. With white tails smoking free, Long streaming manes, and arching necks, they show Their kinship to their sisters of the sea- And forward hurl their thunderbolts of snow. Still out of hardship bred, Spirits of power and beauty and delight Have ever on such frugal pasture fed And loved to course with tempests through the night.
The Imprint, the soft footed force that.tightens the muscle and rusticate... the mud as though a drown fate, erased from two... the dark... the covered bridge... do you know what I mean? 🤠
Hi Drew I love your camargue horse video of yours, please would you be kind enough to let me use a few seconds of footage in a little music video I am making? Thank you for your consideration. Perry
Hi! I love this video and i was wondering if it would be possible to use some of your clips for a horse tribute that i'm doing just for fun!? i would obviously give you credits in the description and link your video.
A lot of the branding is made with cold now, which is less painful and leaves a cleaner mark. These horses have to be branded because they live wild, so the branding helps to know which horses belong to which "manade" (property).
He was too big for some of those horses. I'm not criticising him but they aren't big animals. Also horses should be disciplined but 'severity' is not needed
Such magnificent animals!😮 . Thank you for taking such good care of them.❤

Beautiful horses, symbols of the Camargue. As kid i loved the film Crin Blanc/White Mane. A special region of a fine country.

Amazing.
Amazing..how these beautiful creatures are hidden away from the prying eyes of society...as if in a time warp..
This is peak aesthethic.
Guardians are trusted servants. To be in a Horse's world is none the less...an invitation.
Beautiful!

Ah so that's how you pronounce it. They're such a lovely breed.

moi j ai toujours voulu monter dessus sans selle et laisser les chevaux libres
Laisse-les libres, cours et joue avec eux, mais qu'ils soient libres... Laissons-les libres...
moving video and magnificent beings. but don't like seeing them branded. does not seem part of respect. but maybe i don't understand it completely

White horses are pretty

Agreed!
The word he used isn't severity, it actually translates to "firm" :)
