He has said that he is surprised at how well it is being received. I am happy that Kathy insisted that he record this song as he had originally picked out another. I love the color scheme of the setting, all blue and yellow which seems to be a nod at the Ukrainian origins of the carol. I have said it before, but this seems like a chorus of dragons in a cathedral. The cover artwork is so fitting!
Carol of the Bells as you've never heard it before. Epic sound and voice, not to mention his arranging on this. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. I love this version.
It's such a good arrangement. I don't know how many times I've listened to it, and it gets better each time. Even knowing how he produces the video, it is hard not to think that there are five people standing there singing. Great reaction, Thale. ⛄♥🎶🎶♥⛄
@@DennisKovacich he and Kathy plan it out, and she guides him when he is singing the different parts. It is amazing how you can lose yourself by trying to watch each clone, lol.
@@CarlaSaylor, when two clones make eye contact, does she stand where one is while filming the other? Because it definitely looks like he’s making eye contact with someone rather than just looking in that direction.
@@DennisKovacich No, but he does have Kathy stand in each spot when he's setting up the multiple cameras on tripods. She usually has an arm extended above her head because he's more than a foot taller than Kathy. In the BTS, he kept instructing her, moving her rapidly between marked spots for each of his clones, when he was working with getting cameras set up. After several moves, he chuckled and said, "I like this game." Kathy is super supportive, patient, and a good sport! They filmed this the day before Thanksgiving and he "edited like crazy" then uploaded it to his patrons three days later. We have Kathy to thank that Geoff gave us this tune for Christmas.
First: ALWAYS enjoy your reactions. You asked about the lighting... to me, yours detracts from the video by minimizing what it's doing somehow. Not sure how that works, it's just how my eyes see it.

Love the lights synchronized with the music !!
I no longer have a favorite piece from Geoff. Whichever one I'm listening to, that's my favorite. He is amazingly talented!

I can’t get over the way he seems to make eye contact with himself!

I really love his productions. And yeah, he absolutely makes us believe there are five of him ❤️

Brass instruments? I only hear drums and strings 🤔
