I'm studying Swedish at university, I came back two weeks ago (*desperate inner cries start*) from a one-year stay in Sweden, where I've been practicing quite a lot to improve my proficiency (ask Felicia how much I've been tormenting her kkkk). How about you? How do you know them?
Tbh, I am envious of people who get the opportunity to learn languages in a formal way. Meanwhile, for us, we have to rely on language learning apps and even text-to-speech feature on the phone XD Well Scandinavian Siri(s) are not bad though
But at least, I can understand most of the lines without looking directly at the translation LMAO.
try an app called duolingo! i’m learning German on it!😊
@@carmengunnberg3912 "learning"....such apps can give you some (not even all) basics in a language, but to _learn_ it, you need to study it hard on books and practice it even harder with native speakers

Duolingo has a couple you can learn. It’s a free app. I used it to practice Spanish.
@@lulumoon4364 Yeah but I mean... You won't be able to speak the language solely thanks to this app 😅 It can teach you some words and a basic of the grammatical system but in 3 years, I haven't learned anything that would be really useful if I had to speak to a native ^^
Learn Swedish than
I use duolingo, memrise, and hellotalk. All free (not completely) but all can be secret if necessary. Just use headphones. All can be found on phone and or computer/laptop.

May I ask.. Do Norwegians understand Swedish and Danish? As well Swedish and Danish people.. Do they understand each other because their languages are quite similar🤔
Well yes but some words are kinda strange but you learn them queit fast
It's a bit trickier to understand danish but it works if you listen properly/concentrate
Norwegians understand swedish better spoken than written, and Danish written better than spoken
Swedes understand norwegian both spoken and written pretty good(unless they have a strong dialect, then they understand written better), but Danish more written than spoken
Danes understand norwegian written better than spoken and swedish is hard af for them either way lol
So basically if you want to learn a Scandinavian language, learn norwegian as we understand Danish and swedish more than the other ways around, bcs we have the privilege of sounding more like swedish, but writing more like danish

I'm still salty about the fact that they didn't dub this, nor the live action Beauty And The Beast 2017 in Icelandic, talk about missed opportunity. I can only imagine what the remade songs and the new songs would sound like in Icelandic in both of these movies, they would probably be amazing and be high in people's rankings on here.
