Yeah the Warhammer is a good choice. Although I like the pole axe more. Just put a shorter halft on it an you can do bushcraft with it too. However just so you know those reinforcing metal langets on the side of the war hammer cause more issues than anything. If you pre drill the holes and screw them in they wouldn't be too bad. But if you screw them straight into the wood it often creates weak spots. Traditionally they use much more robust wood and they would drill a hole straight through and use full length rivets to attach the langets to one another through the saft. The hammer and hardware are decent. But the wood and screws not so much. I've broken more than a few safts on my Warhammer. It wasn't until I researched how it was done historically that I was able to make something more solid. So here's what I would do, and have done to mine. Buy a nice ash or hickory shaft and properly bed the Warhammer just like any good axe head. Then attach the langets using pre drilled holes, wood glue, and long copper nails that you heat up and peen like rivets. If you do that it'll be pretty solid.
My loadout... 1. Pistol: A 9mm pistol. Most likely an XD 9. 2. Rifle: An AR-15 that can shoot .223 and 5.56 OR an AR-10 that can shoot .308. 3. Blade: A pocket knife or a fixed blade knife. 4. Melee: I'd definitely use a spear or bladed staff (like the Japanese Yari). [If a zombie apocalypse occurs before I have the certificate to own a gun, I'd already have my Kershaw pocket knife and my Estwing axe ready. I'd also borrow one of my brother's Glocks (most likely the G19) too.]
Rifle: Ruger PC Carbine 9mm with Glock mags and suppressor Pistol: Glock 34 with suppressor. Common mags and ammo. Melee Weapon: Albion Castellan (because it's short enough to be portable) because I'm trained to use it. A tomahawk with hammer/ax head is a close second. Blade: 12" Kukri A sword does not double as a tool. This is a shortcoming. However, axes have their shortcomings too, but you can certainly make firewood, hammer stakes and so forth. Another option: Rifle: PWS MK216 suppressed Pistol: Ruger MKIV suppressed Melee: Tomahawk with hammer/ax head Blade: Bayonet that fits on the rifle.
My choices: Rifle:Henry 22 lr lever action for added reliability and additional velocity out of rifle barrel. Pistol: G34 with happy sticks. Knife: Trench knife. Mele: Partisan or boar spear to keep distance from zombies.
@FrostBloodGames yup but I wrote it down because Yankee did it that way and to distinguish 2 similar categories one specific and other not so much. Partisan will keep bears on safe distance where you can be the only one inflicting damage, knives not so much.
Rifle: model x henry 357/38s with suppressor and scope Pistol: beretta 92fs Blade: tops prather bowie Melee: zombie tools d'capitan saber I practice hema saber fighting, the bowie is a great survival and combat tool, 9mm and spare beretta parts are everywhere, and having a gun that can have subsonic ammo and a suppressor and the choice to not rack a new round in action to stay as quiet as possible in the zombie apocalypse is paramount.
Ruger Suppressed 10/22 w 25 rd mags w Arch Angel stock incl. bayonet: Capacity, quite, ammo is light (even though I love my G19 Sub 2000) Glock 19: Suppressed, Capacity, 9 mm, fast reloads, Good for living bad guys too. (although there is a revolver that takes like 5 kinds of ammo) Large Luzon blade: Massive but a folder for easy carry and concealment, stays super sharp Break down Zulu type Spear: No room for a swinging weapon in tight areas, can be thrust-ed, thrown, or chopped with.
8:09 Excellent choice! I’ve always said that my Marlin 15 shot semi auto rifle with tubular mag would be my zombie gun. Ammo is cheap, light, and readily available. We can sit on the roof with a few .22 bricks and clean up the whole neighborhood!
Just an FYI, Scandium is a fancy marketing name for an aluminum alloy framed gun. Scandium is added to aluminum alloys increase strength. Rifle: tough to argue against the 10/22. I'd still want an AR 15 and suppressor Pistol: Glock 17. Blade: Katar or other push/punching dagger. Melee Weapon: Albion Kriegs Messer
Gotta agree - .22 lr best in the zombie apoc. Crazy watching everyone carrying all that heavy crap and wasting heavy ammo on zombies - 22lr takes care of zombies and humans- and of course in the ZA id be trying to avoid firefights like the plague.
Melee weapon - Granfords bruks forest axe. If the handle breaks make a new one. Easy to sharpen. Can kill and be a good survival tool. Blade - esee izula. With some Paracord and a stick you now have a spear. Longer range or just need to fish. Plus the back spine is good for a ferro rod. Pistol - Got to agree with you. A 357 revolver because I'm sure as hell not going to look for the magazine if I drop it.... Rifle - ....Unless it's a magazine from an AR. But there's enough of them out there they will be easy to find.
Melee: 6lb Sledgehammer Blade: Becker BK7 Bowie Knife Pistol: SIG P229 Rifle: AR15 with 1-6x Tactical Scope, Offset Red Dot sight. 223 is plenty available, lightweight, and can put down a deer, pig or goat, and has good distance ballistics for dispatching zombies up to 700 yards
Rifle: the Class III Ruger 77/10, a ..22LR bolt-action rifle with the integral suppressor. No semi auto bolt clank, you can harvest small and not so small game without attracting zombies or raiders. From a hidden position you could also clear out a herd of zombies without them noise trianglating on you. Ammo near everywhere, a 1000 brick or two easily carried in your pack. Sidearm: Glock 17. Ultra reliability beats supposed accuracy every time. Melee: a semi custom 13" Musso Bowie. As much chopping power as a kukri but far better in the thrust. The Cold Steel 1917 Bowie is a good substitute. Blade: Cold Steel Outdoorsman Tanto, a near perfect combination of combat and field utility knife. Highly underrated. Addendum: any American made multi tool. I really love my Leatherman Wave.
A zombie killing loadout? Rifle: Ruger 10/22 with folding stock and 100 rd drum with 25 rd mags to follow. Pistol: Kel Tek CP33 with 50 rd mags. Blade: trench or bowie knife. Melee: light weight titanium crowbar. Bonus: Glock 17 for a backup or human enemies. Also a last resort mercy shot for me if needed.
Rifle: The one that my state have provided me in exchange for going camping with the boys for a couple of weekends every year. I love the smell of free ammunition.
Why would you carry a 22 to be able to carry more ammo yet carry a 357 revolver instead of a double stack semi auto 9mm ? You can carry more 9mm than 357 , reloads are quicker ,mags have twicebor more the capacity of the 8 shot revolver. And a 9mm to the brain is killing a zombie just as dead as a 357
@@jeffslote9671 Doubt you're getting close enough to a deer to kill it with a revolver also he already stated you can carry one Rifle so why would you be using your handgun for bear or deer if you have a rifle ?
* obviously 357 is a better man stopper but Zombies don't drop from a shot to the heart lungs excetra . Heres the scenario a horde is surrounding you , say 20 or more what would you rather have a Glock 17 or CZ 75 with stock 17 +1 /16+1 or the option an extended 33 round mag Vs the 8 shot 357 ? Supressed 10/22 with nv (quite and easy to carry massive amounts of ammo) setup in a hide and call 'em in. P85 Ruger. (Indestructible and 20 round mec-gar mags run flawless.) Can always be used to smash zombie brains. Wire cutter bayonet. (For cutting wire.) Collins brush hook. Has a 100 uses. Nice balance.
Not a bad rifle, but ammo would be tough to carry in large quantities. Even with the .223 variant, which is currently only available as a distributor exclusive, each round would take up almost as much space as 4 rounds of .22lr, and most variants use bigger rounds, like .308 or .450 Bushmaster. Try carrying a hundred rounds of .450 along with the other weapons, and you'll probably wish you'd picked the .22 after a while. I know I would, haha
The war hammer and knife was a surprise, good choices. The pistol was the biggest surprise though. I thought for sure you'd have gone with your LTt resident evil beretta .
The black Mesa pry bar. The Cold Steel SRK The Glock 19 with five magazines And... The Ruger Gunsight Scout with three Ruger polymer Magazines, a two point sling, and the Leatherwood scout scope mounted.
A twelve gauge pump ( instead of a rifle) good for hunting and defense . My Browning High Power. A traditional Bowie knife and an entrenching tool. The Bowie and the e tool would serve as both weapons and work tool
Ammo is too bulky. You'll be on the run and need some quantity. Suppressed AR15, Ruger MK IV suppressed, a tomahawk (ax/hammer), and a large knife would be a great combination.
Melee weapon: Light saber or pet dire wolf Blade: Valyrian steel, Bowie or corn knife Handgun: Glock 19 named Gary Rifle: GAU-8/A Avenger with remote control or 16 inch gun turret from Iowa class battleship
Rifle: either an M1 Garand, or a modern production m1 carbine with suppressor and detachable piccatani rail Shotgun: trench gun, or retro moss berg 590a1 Pistol: river black hawk convertible .45lc/.45acp Blade: real ka-bar Melee large claw hammer

You do already know he is not leaving his Samurai Edge for that TRR8 revolver? Nice troll move. 😹
That 10-22 is awesome. Excellent choice.
Crowbar. Can't break it. That warhammer is wood.
Rifle: Ruger PC Carbine 9mm with Glock mags and suppressor
Pistol: Glock 34 with suppressor. Common mags and ammo.
Melee Weapon: Albion Castellan (because it's short enough to be portable) because I'm trained to use it. A tomahawk with hammer/ax head is a close second.
Blade: 12" Kukri
A sword does not double as a tool. This is a shortcoming. However, axes have their shortcomings too, but you can certainly make firewood, hammer stakes and so forth.
Another option:
Rifle: PWS MK216 suppressed
Pistol: Ruger MKIV suppressed
Melee: Tomahawk with hammer/ax head
Blade: Bayonet that fits on the rifle.
My choices:
Rifle:Henry 22 lr lever action for added reliability and additional velocity out of rifle barrel.
Pistol: G34 with happy sticks.
Knife: Trench knife.
Mele: Partisan or boar spear to keep distance from zombies.
Real talk i got that gladius "machete" only because the spear was out of stock
Good choice. I would carry my mod in Nagant with bayonet, a war pick, Buck knife, my 357 magnum with an 9mm conversion cylinder.
@FrostBloodGames yup but I wrote it down because Yankee did it that way and to distinguish 2 similar categories one specific and other not so much. Partisan will keep bears on safe distance where you can be the only one inflicting damage, knives not so much.
FrostBloodGames You can kill a zombie from a distance without him getting in arms reach or making any noise. And if you have to, shoot him.
Boar spear is way to heavy. Check out cold steels new MAA American Spontoon. It's very partisan like.
Rifle: model x henry 357/38s with suppressor and scope
Pistol: beretta 92fs
Blade: tops prather bowie
Melee: zombie tools d'capitan saber
I practice hema saber fighting, the bowie is a great survival and combat tool, 9mm and spare beretta parts are everywhere, and having a gun that can have subsonic ammo and a suppressor and the choice to not rack a new round in action to stay as quiet as possible in the zombie apocalypse is paramount.
AR15, Glock 19, KA-BAR, and telescopic baton! All set! 😁
I like the way Yankee thinks ( Demented)
Ruger Suppressed 10/22 w 25 rd mags w Arch Angel stock incl. bayonet: Capacity, quite, ammo is light
(even though I love my G19 Sub 2000)
Glock 19: Suppressed, Capacity, 9 mm, fast reloads, Good for living bad guys too.
(although there is a revolver that takes like 5 kinds of ammo)
Large Luzon blade: Massive but a folder for easy carry and concealment, stays super sharp
Break down Zulu type Spear: No room for a swinging weapon in tight areas, can be thrust-ed, thrown, or chopped with.
Rifle-colt m4. Pistol-colt python 357. Blade-Bowie knife. Melee weapon- my bat katana.
Awesome list. I love it, Marshal!
8:09
Excellent choice! I’ve always said that my Marlin 15 shot semi auto rifle with tubular mag would be my zombie gun. Ammo is cheap, light, and readily available. We can sit on the roof with a few .22 bricks and clean up the whole neighborhood!
Rifle: AR-15 with a 22LR conversion kit. (I can now shoot 22LR for being quiet and 223/556 for battle)
Pistol: Glock 45
Blade: K-Bar
Melee: Warhammer
Just an FYI, Scandium is a fancy marketing name for an aluminum alloy framed gun. Scandium is added to aluminum alloys increase strength.
Rifle: tough to argue against the 10/22. I'd still want an AR 15 and suppressor
Pistol: Glock 17.
One bourbon, one scotch, and one beer.....and one rifle.
A warhammer! For when you absolutely must spike your own skull every time you pull back you weapon!
by the way, the strategy of cowboys its so appreciable. 1 caliber for both
Rifle : Marlin Model 60 (scoped)
Pistol: CZ75D PCR
Blade: Dagger
Melee: Life (because as Rocky said,"Nobody is gonnna hit as hard as life.")
Melee: 6lb Sledgehammer
Blade: Becker BK7 Bowie Knife
Pistol: SIG P229
Rifle: AR15 with 1-6x Tactical Scope, Offset Red Dot sight.
Ruger 22 pistol, you got everything else right. This video was brought to you by cold steel.
I’m fine with the revolver but I’m taking a shotgun 590a1
Rifle: The one that my state have provided me in exchange for going camping with the boys for a couple of weekends every year. I love the smell of free ammunition.
Teach me of this free ammunition you speak of.
Hey Mr. Yankee Marshall; in a Zombie Apocalypse with those pansy ass guns, I ain't teaming up with you...🤪
Why would you carry a 22 to be able to carry more ammo yet carry a 357 revolver instead of a double stack semi auto 9mm ? You can carry more 9mm than 357 , reloads are quicker ,mags have twicebor more the capacity of the 8 shot revolver. And a 9mm to the brain is killing a zombie just as dead as a 357
Can use 38 and 357. Opens up more options when scrounging for ammo.
357 mag will also cleanly kill deer and black bears. Which makes it more useful
Reliability. If you only have empty mags for a semi auto reloading a magazine then the gun will be a lot slower than reloading a revolver.
I just say capacity trumps caliber in the Zombie apacalypse scenario
I like all your choices. The 10/22 is a perfect choice for your rifle.
That Ruger is EXACTLY what is missing from The Walking Dead. Dozen of those may have saved the farm.
My zombie load out
Rifle- zastava m90 np chambered in 556/223 ak uses ar -15 mags.
Handgun- Springfield armory xdm-9 19+1 capacity.
Blade- Bowie knife.
Meelee- Morningstar.
That was a surprisingly well thought out list for you.
Metal bat, Trench Knife, my Jericho 941 and MP sport AR15 for me
Now i need a war hammer
I definitely agree with the rifle. I want a similar setup for my zombie rifle.
(For cutting wire.)
Collins brush hook. Has a 100 uses. Nice balance.
I'll admit the 22 surprised me, I thought you'd go for the Ruger Scout Rifle.
Too heavy
For the gun site scout to slot in under 7 pounds in the proper configuration I would’ve thought its weight wouldn’t be too bad👍🏻
The Cold Steel SRK
The Glock 19 with five magazines
And...
Negan is actually the baddest ass character from The Walking Dead. Carol chose Negan to kill Alpha.
Melee weapon: Light saber or pet dire wolf
Blade: Valyrian steel, Bowie or corn knife
Handgun: Glock 19 named Gary
Rifle: GAU-8/A Avenger with remote control or 16 inch gun turret from Iowa class battleship
My load out:
-Kabar full knife w/glass breaker end
-War hammer as well (great idea)
-Glock 19 w/suppressor
-AR15 w/suppressor
Rifle: either an M1 Garand, or a modern production m1 carbine with suppressor and detachable piccatani rail
Shotgun: trench gun, or retro moss berg 590a1
Pistol: river black hawk convertible .45lc/.45acp
Blade: real ka-bar
Melee large claw hammer
Assuming "Walking Dead" zombie abilities/weaknesses, I'd go with: T-ball bat, Glock 17, AR-15, M&P 15-22
Rifle: AR15
Blade: Bayonet attachment to AR
Pistol: Beretta 92 (9mm)
Melee weapon: Spear
**Familiar weapons, common calibers, dual purpose blade, light melee weapon with long reach
******* I think it really depends on the zombies!!! Are they 1968 Night of the living dead slow?? Super fast Dawn of the Dead remake?
Rifle - Ruger PC carbine (9mm Glock mag version w/33rd)
Pistol - Glock 17
Blade - Trench knife
Malee - the cold steel "unbreakable" bat
Rifle: integrally. Suppressed AR PCC that takes flick mags.
Pistol: glock 17
Blade: Phillipino short sword.
Mellow weapon: metal night stick.
2 cold steels, Lynn would be proud.
Rifle - Henry Big Boy All Weather in .357
Pistol - S&W 686 4in barrel .357/.38
Blade - Cold Steel SRK
Melee - Between a 14-18in pry bar
This is one of your best video's I enjoyed it. My melee weapon would be a M48 Ranger Tomahawk, my knife would be a springloaded small blade, pistol would be a Beretta PX4 Storm and rifle would be a 30/30 winchester.
rifle: Ruger 77 with threaded barrel (.357mag)
pistol: Ruger blackhawk convertible (.357mag/ 9mm)
blade: hatchet
melee: fire axe
@chris mclaughlin I didn't consider it, but it's a good idea. I went with the axe because it would be nice to have if I had to open a locked door.
Very well thought out. Kind of scary in fact.
Before I even watch the video I will bet yank picks a fucking revolver for his pistol against 100 zombies.
Didn’t see any of those coming, and all great choices.
42" full tang Katana, SW9VE 9mm, Mossberg 500 and my Fiskars tomahawk is what I have.
Very smart choosing a revolver. You never have to worry about losing the magazine.
Hey that zombie picture looks like what the sheep will look like if they don't keep getting a check from the government lmao
Drywall Hammer. Like an Estwing all steel construction. I think it's a good hybrid of Tyreese's framing hammer and the war hammer.
rifle: 10/22 with bx25 mags
pistol: tx22 with mag extensions
knife: u.s. trench knife
melee: woodsman's pal
Nobody cares about my choice because I’m irrelevant but I’d go with a colt m1911 a 1 a 30 carbine a roofing hammer and a usmc k bar
Roofing hammer: Came here to say that.
Your age is showing sonny
Boogaloo Charlie ??
With those selections I’m surprised you didn’t select an M1 Garland like you had in WWII? 😉
I'd rather have a suppressed .22 pistol, and an AR.
Crossbow wins, I've seen walking dead.
Yeah, well, once the Zombie apocalypse happens, NFA rules no longer apply.
Exactly my thought. I'd ideally like to cheat with the AR to have my 5.56 and have a second upper in .300 blackout for bigger game hunting with supersonics and suppressed shooting with subsonics.
Right now I'd select the AR15 in 300 blackout, 4" Rhino .357, Buck deer knife, and a pry bar. Maybe not the best, but its here.
Nice choices, I would just change the pistol to see auto with more capacity
