I love the non-legendary versions of these, because like you say, the single shot is amazing for Spellshot. I will definitely be farming for one of these now that I am at level cap.
At low level I was running one of these and it was so strong. Super ammo efficient too. Though once you can cast fast enough it's less necessary, but you are super tanky shooting this thing. For raw damage I'd also recommend those Torgue pistol crossbows. Usually 2-3 shots per reload but they shoot multiple projectiles and the stickies get the bonus damage for other stickies. Still stacks spellweaving pretty fast but can put out tons of damage.
@@Psycorde there's a sandhawk cryo gun that's just a regular purple that's really strong. Some heavy spell use spellshot builds opt for purple over legendaries. Etc. I think Moxsy has a vid on some great purples to watch for. There may be others he hasn't found yet too. It's more like BL2 with purples
They REALLY need to increase enemy spawn rates in the encounters. I've never spent so much time looking at my mini map and looking for enemies in a Borderlands game. It gets pretty boring in the chaos chambers too
Yeah I was really surprised with the absolute lack of enemies, it gets really bad with maps with verticality and multiple rooms. Especially when trying to keep kill skills up
Yes, they either need more enemies or for enemies to be more proactive in seeking you out. I think 80% of the times I've lost the bonus round in the chaos chamber with a time limit was just running around trying to find something to kill and not because of my gear.
I noticed this early on, I'd imagine they are working on the balance for chaos Chambers as currently its a cake walk. We will have a new type of mayhem eventually, hopefully not as muddled up as it was in 3.
This was the first legendary I got on this game, on my first play through with stabbomancer. Got it at level 11 still was using it when I beat the game. It’s crazy.
please dont let this get nerfed....i loved fl4k in BL3 and loved revolving around crit spams and fade away with returning ammo, this gun allows me to play that style again and effectively. I dont care much for being OP, i just like these kinds of weapons
Got this randomly at level 19 and finally realized it’s real strength when I killed a boss at level 34 in 5 seconds on a elemental damage/melee built character. Fun weapon but almost feels too strong. Ended up deciding to bank it for first playthrough afterwards so I can properly experience fights.
@@songogu9 Please, don't give them ideas. I'm fucking TIRED of devs nerfing things in PvE games. Especially in Borderlands/Wonderlands. You're supposed to feel powerful as hell. Just buff other things that underperform, PLEASE.

This game felt too easy. I ended up beating the final boss at level 26. I could still nearly 1-2 shot every enemy before the boss. I used this level 15 green pistol that shot out a bolt of lightning when reloaded. I had some other gear that seemed stupid OP too. The one legendary shield you get from the main quest did crazy amp damage. I played Graveborn and spec'd into companions. My companions would nearly be doing 1k damage per shot to the final boss. It felt so dumb because it was as if there wasn't a debuff for being under leveled.
We all love your legendary weapon guides, but when is your first playthrough, I'll follow your build as much as possible. We love the content, don't stop
This is honestly how I hoped the "re-use" of Legendary guns would go in Bl3. Because this thing is a Call gun, yes, but it's distinct enough in design and feel, so it makes it it's own thing. And I feel, that Wonderlands is such a breath of fresh air for the series. Is it more Borderlands? Yup. Is your "From the shadows" action skill is pretty much Flack's/Zero's invis? Uh-huh. But we also have a Bore for ALL characters. Which is neat. But the most important thing for me aboutthe game - the fact, that it's DOES. NOT. TAKE. PLACE. IN. MAINLINE. BORDERLANDS. Thus - it has INFINITE possibilities for "Content Modularity". Thus - I really hope for it to become it's own series. (Or the option for US to "Make your own adventure" as a "Community created Stories". Just saying Gearbox........)
I love how your finding all the drops for the legendarys going through the map as you naturally would doing story, at the same rate I'm actually playing through the story the first time
I LOVE those one-mag crossbows for my Spellshot- I never have to worry about not having max spellweaving, and I can stack it before a fight without wasting barely any ammo

Now that's a build-around. One shotting mobs on highest difficulty, no need to reload or spend ammo for every time you crit, and the crit hits nearby enemies. Sounds amazing

If anyone wants a godly Pistol get the liquid cooling of nerves Its a skulldugger Pistol that only spawns as cryo, it breaks quickly but critical hits prevent it from breaking and the dps is stupid I've been getting it from the chaos chamber but it drops from an obelisk boss I believe
Best weapon Ive seen so far, great on all classes because of the dps alone and it shreds on my stabbomancer. The only 2 guns I really use are this bowgun for groups and the liquid cooling for bosses/flying enemies. My only complaint is that pistols are so good I run them in all 4 slots.
Yea it's kinda crazy how good it is, I maxed out the crit chance in the badass ranks and hero points and almost never have it break, the dps also out performs anything I've gotten so far 👀
The gun that you are using was my fist legendary. I literally like crapped my pants at how awesome it is. Eating baddies like crazy and I am four hours into the game.
My character is a Sporecerer crit build. Now, I have no idea what the crit multiplier is for this gun because of all the skills and items I’m running that buff crits, but this gun is consistently hitting above 50k. It actually outputs a higher DPS than my Liquid Cooling in some cases (mostly bosses with easy crit spots). All I can say is that this gun is absolutely amazing. My only criticism with it is how it outclasses every sniper that I have. I feel like a pistol shouldn’t be a better sniper than, well, a sniper.
This is actually a returning gun from bl3 but in bl3 it was a sniper called "master work crossbow" and it did the same thing as this gun 1 bullet in the mag and high crit damage
I had joined friends that were on chaos 20 and got a volatile version, and didnt think it was good. Now i know its really good, and im gonna use the crap out of it
This gun works amazingly well with a sporewarden/stabbo crit build. I haven't gotten a max level one so haven't tried it out at chaos levels, but it carried a few levels of my playthrough with that build

I just got a armor mod called the blank slate a couple times. One’s a corrupted variety that does 40% increase to all damage, +2 ability level, and 10% xp gain
Me and some random guys just found the secret raid bosses… super hype to figure it out first hand. Next time I’m going in with 3 other people because it’s very difficult with my lack of gear

I found a "Triggering Bronco Buster" It's a nova shield & it deals dark magic so it heals me. It also heals me when it's full & mine has a 1.0 recharge delay. With all my spells & 'Leech king' class mod, vertically unstoppable. I found it as world drop in a chest, but if you find it, check it out

Crossbow weapons are the strongest weapons in the game, especially blackpowder/jakobs and torgue. It's a shame we wont really have them in a borderlands game again
Def a god weapon for stealth stabbomancer and spore warden. I'm not sure how crit chance stacks with stabbo and spore warden but I'm pretty sure you can make consistent body shot crits with no stealth

I got this on my critical hit spore warden and it is just alt-F4'ing enemies. It can be difficult to hit certain enemies in their weak point, namely a few of the mushrooms and any fast moving crab, but humanoid enemies crumple very quickly to this.

Hey Joltz! Recently found this games reference to the sham! Got it while farming the obelisk enemy in the drowned abyss!

I got this as a world drop. Great pistol for Spellweave stacking/maintaining, and then using all the Deadshot crit stacking.
even a purple pushpin sootcough is brokenly OP when you can make headshots. depending on projectile count its alot like a skullmasher pistol.

I do have a question, for BL3 you used to showcase both mobbing and bossing for each weapon. Why no boss showcase for wonderlands?

Currently using this, need a better class mod but even then I’m 1-2 shorting bosses while I’m “from the shadows”
The pistol looks overpowered also ive been playing for a few days and what does the loot luck in the game do?

I have one in my vault never used it,but after watching this I'll check it out,i know this video is kinda old so idk if they nerfed this gun,but I'm gonna check it out anyway 😁
I got this on my critical hit spore warden and it is just alt-F4'ing enemies. It can be difficult to hit certain enemies in their weak point, namely a few of the mushrooms and any fast moving crab, but humanoid enemies crumple very quickly to this.
Got the “salmon” melee weapon from wargtooth obelisk enemy “the great wight”
I got a drop of it at level 30 and was wiping out mobs in no time at all
found some legendaries, cannonballer of ardor(rocket launcher that shoots cannonballs) and twin soul of the assassin(sword)
This can world drop, I got it from the end of the “raiders of the lost shark” side quests after giving the pearls to the shark statue
