If you want a snipe that consistently does great damage. Go find the Stoker "Sawmill" Sniper. It fires three bolts in a tight pattern and has a great fire rate. Only downside, it chews up 3 ammo per shot. But up your gun and crit damage in chaos chamber, and it tears through the enemies no problem. (Even chaos 20.) And I don't even have a chaotic or volatile version. Dunno the dedicated drop, might be a chaos chamber thing. (Got it from a loot bunny.) Gear set: Got gun damage up on Spell and Skill use, gun damage up on full health shield, wildfire class, smart armor.
The best use for this thing is to get the damage without shooting it. Get a Spellshot class mod that gives 3 points to Double Knot, raising it to 6/3, and you'll do 42% of the Greatbow's insane damage every time you crit with a spell. Add a high crit spell that hits many times, something like Threads of Fate, Twister, or any of the meteor calamity spells, and the greatbow becomes something you swap to and melt bosses with a couple spells.
He already is. Give him a plasma coil and you never need to pull the trigger yourself ever again. Clone also gains damage from your splash buffs, so use shoulder cannon clone build with an ASA frozen heart and an ASE splash anoint plasma coil
First time I picked up this sniper I was like “WOAH, A HIGH DAMAGE SNIPER WITH OVER 3K?” Then i shot it, checked my inventory and it was 356 damage and I sat there completely dumbfounded
I got one of these at level 34 and it was surprisingly still usable against some max level 40 bosses with the right element of course, and I hope snipers and launchers get the same bl3 buff treatment soon
In compare to other legendary snipers even the "Used" is simply better, because it benefits from the increased damage per Bolt . Only closest gun to this masher crossbow, but they aren't easy to find. But it can't get enchanted for some reason.
money rlly not hard to farm if u running high level chaos chambers or anything else high chaos level, if im not TRYING for cash i can get a few hundred thousand to about half a mill in half hour or less
Tbh. even after shooting it, its still a pretty good sniper, compared to most other snipers. But I still wish that it could be enchanted. Mainly cause it would be a bit of a redemption arc for Hyperion snipers. Cause apart from the Tankmans and the Crossbow, they werent great.
In case you didn't notice, this weapon cannot be enchanted. It simply does not show up in the reroller. Really hoping it's just bugged, cause I really like this thing and would love the extra damage.

It all depends if they ever add a class which inherits gun stats into the build. (Think something like X% gun damage converted to melee damage.) In that case this'd be a great weapon.

Idk if it's a world drop, chaos chamber drop, special enemy drop or all of the above but there's a really good Torgue shotgun called Hawkin's Wrath and it's red text is a reference to Disturbed's Down with the Sickness I got mine from the Chaos Chamber from the barf bunnies

When I first started looking as skills, Double Knot had me pining for something like this and a large proj # barrage spell. However, how Double Knot actually works makes that idea complete and utter crap. Instead of adding 21% of the weapon's card damage as gun damage to the spell, it 21% of the spell's damage as the gun you're holding's element as bonus gun damage, which can't crit. The sadness.
Why do they gotta add joke legendaries as actual drops in the game, it would be great if it was just part of a quest then you got a good one but come on, a dedicated legendary?? And it's not even like it's worth farming for money because purple armor is worth 20k

Hey so question, I got a legendary sniper earlier to day, and above the name it said CHAOTIC. What does that mean ? I haven’t noticed anyone else with those

Higher chaos level= higher chance of chaotic gear obviously (approx 3.8% of the time at chaos level one, about 30% at level 20.) Also, at chaos level 20, your items can instead roll as volatile, which have about 1.4x the stats of max level gear.
That's the Live wire. It drops from the Chaos chambers. His build looks like a Spell shot/stabomancer combo where he focuses on gun damage and using the buffmiester exploit.
This gun definitely needs to be changed a little bit. Maybe make it have a small chance to break but reduce the damage for both normal and broken version It's just an idea honestly but I would like of the weapon was actually usable
such wasted potential.. i wish we could spend like 1000$ and fix the gun.. idk.. SOMETHING.. or after like 1000 shots then it breaks or something.. 1 shot really stinks
Yeah, one shot... LITERALLY one use. It's just one of those, well no other ways to put it, useless Legendaries. But I imagine the game hacks will find a way to bypass its downgraded form.

This was one of the first legendaries I found and needless to say I was very disappointed because I thought I found a super rare and overpowered gun

if you world drop one of these on lvl 1 or at anny time keep it until you are lvl 40. if you fire it the used version will become lvl 40
