  • These are the most heart-stopping moments so far in 2023. In March, Alexsey Reyes and Nathan Reeves from Houston, Texas, were lucky to safely walk away from a crash they caught on tape while recording a podcast. In February, a car was spotted going airborne on a Georgia highway. In May, a Turkish man learned why there’s no smoking near gas stations. Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall has more.

That made me cry instantly hearing him say "come on, baby" while desperately hitting her back. I couldn't imagine the heartbreak and despair in that moment, followed immediately by what I can only assume has to be the greatest feeling a human can experience. This extreme range of emotion is EXACTLY why I couldn't even begin to do his job.

As a medic I hated going on calls involving children especially when they were in critical condition or worse. I’ve had two die on me with 1 who was just born around 22 weeks at a gas station and the other was a 3 year old boy who was accidentally run over by his dad and his heart stopped as I intubated him. Neither survived and I remember the parents grief!

They officer in that first clip is great, he responded immediately to what happened while his colleagues all stood around and looked at him like he was crazy. Im sure they were somewhat in shock of what they just saw but not the bodycam guy, he immediately sprung into action to go help that driver.

I refused to have a swimming pool until my boys were old enough to reach and able to swim regardless of safety fences surrounding the area. My neighbor is a firefighter/ems and his team pulled a 3 year old girl from the grandparents swimming pool a few years ago. I know we can’t put our babies in bubble wrap and protect them from everything, but we can still be cautious. When I was younger, I remember watching a real 911 calls show that showed a 2 year old girl fell head first into a bucket of cleaning water and drowned.
