Many teachers focus on the method only and many like to focus on the logic also , although the video is 11 years old, the only one I found which gave a little of reasoning why we can equate both the equations. Well done
I absolutely love your site- don't know where I'd be without them!
Thank you. All the best
Thanks - really helpful!
@hedonism13 Pleased to hear that - thanks
@Wii624 Just check out my video on using the quadratic formula. It must be something in that you are doing wrong.
Just a quick clarification, I could do this with the equation of a circle instead of an equation of a parabola when required to find the point where a line and circle intersect? Can't see why not but just checking.
Love it
Thanks!
you're welcome timothy!
Have you done a video on parabolas before this one? I can't find one from your website
was stuck on this so hard our teacher was off and i had attempt to self teach myself this found it too hard but wow came across this and never found anything so simple and helpful much love!!
You're welcome
Thank you so much. Would you be able to post a video of what to do if you can't factor it??? I know we have to do the quad formula but I can never quite get the right answer. Thank you!!
Quadratic equation can be solved in there ways 1) Factorise( Proceed with middle term breakdonw), complete the square r using yt videos
What if we didn't have equations that automatically had the y-value in terms of x?
rly helpful thx
No problem, best wishes.
what if the terms aren't factor-able? Using the quadratic formula doesn't yield the same results of the answer spread either
+gamefuler Use the quad formula. You must have tripped up in your working as it should lead to the same result if you use the formula.
Well done! I'm making videos for my students too. Can you tell me what drawing software you are using? I've tried several but don't recognise this one.
2:30 could you just use simultaneous equations instead?
chill with the ads tho sir
what if the equation of a curve is x^2=4x-y^2? How do I change it into the form of y=ax^2+bx+c?
You can't
hi, how are you ?
Xeasy lalla
Omg can u explain because u are just doing it
every where I understand it
he is explaining wdym
Not bad u?
