Disco Dolly: Raggedy Ann

- Joe Raposo makes your ears bleed with this scary disco version of "Rag Dolly," from the 1977 film Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure. Sung by Didi Conn.
All audio is from the 70s Los Angeles children's show Wonderama, from the collection of KA. The video was edited together by myself. The actual video from Wonderama probably featured dancers in Raggedy Ann & Andy costumes. - Кино
jesus this is so cute, i love raggedy ann's voice.
How funny! Raggedy Ann doing disco! :D
Well, this movie was made back in the 70's so the style of music suits this song very well. ^_^
Strawberry Shortcake did it too. Both are suitable for future funk. They're like western Lum and Sailor Moon.
They should make funko pop figures of Different versions of Raggedy Ann and Andy throughout the years
I wasn't even alive in the 70's and I find this nostalgic... well, I was raised on this movie, so I guess that would be why.
Didi Conn soo cute
Scary Disco? Nah, This is freakin' awesome!
She sounds like Strawberry Shortcake from the Strawberry Shortcake Live album. I think I found a new future funk sample (that isn't from said album.) When the background singers go "WHOO!" it's literally the same as in "Fantasy" by Meiko Nakahara.
Raggedy Ann ditched sweet and went full spicy
I Love that song for the first time I hear it!!🦊🐺🦉😻😍😄👍🎶🎵
Don't see how this ear-bleeding or scary. I just find it unintentionally hilarious.
@🍉Suki-tan Hatsune✔️ Look at some of the comments. There are people seriously classifying it as such.
I was sitting on the edge of the couch when the drugs kicked in. Which was kind of weird considering I hadn't taken any... >.>;
I actually love it lol
This is so much better than the crap that we have today especially the Jonas Brothers
The Jonas Brothers weren't bad at all in retrospect. Yeah they had boyband stuff, but their rock songs were pretty good.
How do you make these connections between two seemingly unrelated things? Is this the true power of bronies?
Darn it, Mark Baker! Where are you, Andy? You should of sang with Didi again for this! (It’s really too bad Mark never sang with Didi for this way back then again like the movie version of Rag Dolly... What a missed opportunity... 😔 Also R.I.P. Mark..💖) Still awesome though! 😊
Maybe he was busy with other Broadway shows?
@@Elfilinfan2004 Maybe…
@@princesspeachfan100 makes sense to me
I always like the Broadway version more, but then again what Joe Raposo did for Broadway was 10 times darker than the film.
Why did I have this stuck in my head?
Okay, but am I the only one who thinks Marcella is kinda scary in this scene: 0:51
This song a little bit of the vintage Soul Train theme song: The sound of Philadelphia.
: )
I actually kinda like the song.
Me too
this is the greatest
I asked the guy next to me to pinch me to make sure I wasn't dreaming.
Little do they know that the children are happy and cheering, not for the film, but because the clips that were shown to them were over.
Wow they actually left a little of Wonderama with Bob McCallister at the beginning!
2:17 - as seen in the VideoCel demo reel.
The actual song starts at 1:00
Well, THIS is different...
I love it, gotta big kick out of it! ;D
alta musica re fachera
no hay de otra hay que subirle a la bocina y que suene al 1000 %
y se que el volumen no va a ser suficiente ante semejante obra maestra
@tvtimetravel
Cool. :)
i find this funny :P
That was weird
Some songs were made for disco.
Some songs were not.
This... was not.
Actual what
this is SO fucking terrible it's funny........
"Scary"? I call it annoying
