You have really taken this medium to a new level, beautiful work! I can't wait to try it. All of your work is so vibrant! I have one of your prints of a seahorse and it is just gorgeous.
Someone posted a photo of what they did using your techniques. Thus, I found you!! I am so new to all this, but I absolutely love your method of collage. Very clever to make on plastic so you can move it around. maybe I can now learn this craft! lol. Thanks so much for sharing and I look forward to checking out all your videos.
Hi Marian. Thanks for watching and for your sweet comment. I hope you will try collage - it"s a great artform and very forgiving. If oyu don't like what you put down , just cover it up with more paper :)
Just discovered your art, and I love it. I watched tye video of the bird on plastic method. What adhesive do you suggest for the bird to the board? Your work is so beautiful and inspiring. Thanks.
Hi Lance and thanks so much. I use the same adhesive for everything. it is Golden soft gel. I used it to put the bird together and I used it to adhere the bird to the board. I like toi use the gloss gel and then I sealit with a satin sealer (also Golden brand).
@LisaMoralesMixedMedia This is great! Is there another medium that can be used other than the soft gel. I know art is expensive, but I'm trying to work on a budget and would like to attempt this technique.
I use papers from all different sources but most are book pages, sheet music, and maps that people have given me or that I pick up at book sales. My library has a $1.00 book sale a few times a year. Thanks for your comment.
Love your creativity with paper, thank you to share! I have some question: did you fix the bird inside the plastic? And the plastic to the table? Have a good day!
Hi Moni. Thanks for watching. I did put the bird inside the sheet protector but I don’t attach it in any way to the sheet protector. It is just sitting inside it. I don’t attach it to the table either. Did that answer your questions? Happy creating!!
@@LisaMoralesMixedMedia Oh yes thank you Lisa! I'll try but I know, it looks so easy from you, whereas I often make a mess with plastic and glue! Anyway I like very much this technique, I only need practice, thank you for the funny time!
So Beautiful!! Do you paint your own papers for collage ? Also what weight of paper do you recommend? I’m so interested in learning how to do this ! Thanks For sharing ❤️
Hello and thanks for your nice comment! Yes, I do paint my own papers and I LOVE to use paper that is right in between newspaper (too thin) and cardstock (too thick) I use a lot of book pages and sheet music, deli paper, maps, and papers that you can find at art supply stores or some place like Paper Source. I don't use magazines or anything with a glossy coating on it. Hope that helps :)
Wow! Excellent idea! Thanks a lot.
You're welcome. Thanks for watching and happy creating!

This is wonderful information! I’m not a great “draw-ER” but have photos I’ve taken that I could, essentially, “trace” from my original. Thank you.
Brilliant! Just the answer needed that been puzzling on!!
