They filmed part of it in a field behind my auntie’s house (at the time) and we could hear Ariana singing and she’s even got new music coming out that she was practicing. It was INCREDIBLE
I was skeptical about Michelle Yeoh as Morrible, but she won me over. I think the character as portrayed on stage would seem cartoonish and over the top on screen. Yeoh’s more stoic, icy demeanor carries an understated sense of menace that worked well for me.
Exactly my thoughts. It's a completely different take on Morrible, but I think it works. I think the stage version would be too campy and over-the-top and they wanted this to be more grounded and realistic (related: color desaturation).
apparently cynthia & ariana really wanted michelle to play morrible & were very encouraging of her singing, as inexperienced as she was. i think that was sweet of them.
I think people forget that Michelle is the only Oscar winner (currently) in the cast. And her win was very recent too. Whether or not she can outright sing, getting her for the dramatic role of Morrible is a HUGE get for this movie, bigger than Ariana and Cynthia in terms of this being a film. Then they added the incredibly talented Keala Settle as headmistress, and then didn't even have her sing, and she's in Part 2, giving an outlet for the music, while including the incredible dramatic talent that is Michelle Yeoh as the more dramatic Morrible.
I'll tell you, at first I rolled my eyes at the poster drama. But after seeing the movie, I get it. It's hard to explain, but hiding her face in the poster was just not true to the movie's vision and was a mistake.
After Jon M. Chu directed my favorite film of 2021, In The Heights, I had lots of hope that he was gonna make something wonderful and boy, he did! The music remains as delightful as the play, the cast is simply charming, and even with the nearly 3 hour runtime, it provides an enchanting experience that moves at a rapid clip without ever dragging. I'd say that my only truly major complaint is that it feels rather incomplete due to the fact this is only the first half of the musical, but that ultimately won't matter when Part 2 arrives a year from now.
I would say the conclusion of this film was a proper one for the narrative it told with Elphaba. It's also a great way to end it honestly. This film has perfect filmmaking and it blew me and probably everyone away.
Pretty sure they split Madame Morrible's character into two characters in the movie to distinguish it from the show. In this version Madame Morrible isn't the headmistress of Shiz. She's just a professor. You don't bring in Keala Settle into a major musical (who sang This is Me in the Greatest Showman) and NOT give her a song, so I think she'll probably take that part, which frees up Michelle Yeoh from the expectation to sing. I like the way Michelle Yeoh played this though. She's supportive until she realizes that Elphaba has the abilities that even she herself doesn't have. Very true to real life manipulators.
I had the EXACT same thought after watching it the second time today. I recognized Keala Settle on first watch through immediately, I am a huge fan of TGS, and didn't realize until seeing her again on second watch through that we made it through the entire movie without hearing her sing, which is kinda like hiring Shaq to be an actor for a basketball movie but then putting him in the stands. Waste of her incredible talent in a movie she is undoubtedly well qualified for.....unless there are more plans for her for Pt 2.
@@forest1605 I don't know if that's exactly the way it's gonna go, but given the fact that there is an immediate Morrible solo that requires some actual singing talent in Thank Goodness, I can't imagine Michelle Yeoh doing those parts. Nothing wrong with her casting just not a strong vocal performance, but you don't get Michelle Yeoh for her strong vocal performance, you get her because when Morrible threatens Glinda after Nessa is killed, you want to feel that threat has weight.
@@vjones4769 In my second viewing, the audience was laughing more and I even heard a few claps after popular. It made seeing it even more fun to watch.
I have to disagree with you on Morrible. I thought she was great; I was initially worried about how she was portraying her, but I grew to love her approach. The camp version of the musical would not have worked in the movie. It's just a different medium. She's the most dangerous character (the actual wicked witch), even more so than the wizard in the story if you think about it. So her icy and manipulative demeanor makes sense My main gripe with this film was we still never saw sorcery classes with her training both Elphaba and Glinda.
I like that she's not the Headmistress of Shiz too. It seems odd that someone who is running whatever kind of school Shiz is would also be the main antagonist of Oz, making her just a sorcery professor makes a lot more sense. The Wizard has lots of pull, but not pull enough to make the real magic person headmistress, that's my head cannon about the change.
@@frederalbaconI think the Wizard definitely has the pull. But running a university is a very demanding job. It doesn't leave a lot of time to be involved in national political conspiracies. It makes sense to me that she's a professor who works with the Wizard as part of her academic research.
I'm kinda hoping that the change indicates that more people in Oz are disillusioned with the Wizard. If there are people who would be willing to fight his pull to get her into headmistress, maybe there's those that would fight him wholesale, which is why they're desperately searching for their chosen one to read the Grimmerie.
Saw the Wicked movie with my mother yesterday. We both enjoyed it. I may not have seen the stage musical, but the film adaptation was fantastic! Cynthia Eerivo as Elphaba stole the show for me. Her performance was a grand spectacle and I enjoyed the musical numbers as well. I also enjoyed some of the special guest appearances too, nuff said about that.🤫 Guess my prediction of Wicked being a smash hit was pretty spot on. Haven’t seen a lot of musical based films, but Wicked is right up there with The Greatest Showman imo. Looking forward to Part 2, when it drops next year!

I'll confess and say that my introduction to Wicked was through Glee, and my faovrite song of the 3 they sang on the show is For Good. Seeing how well Ariana and Cynthia worked together, not just with the acting, but also the singing, has me so excited to see them perform For Good in the movie! I'm dying just to think it'll probably be another year waiting. But if I survived the wait between Infinity War and Endgame, I can survive this one as well... xD
I just came home after seeing the new movie, and O-M-Glinda! It qas absolutely one of the most beautiful movies I've ever seen!First off, the scene where Elphaba and Glinda dance together as new friends... I actually shed some tears because I cannot understand the difference between someone who's normal and accepted by society, and... someone who's.. never truly going to be. That one scene was the physical embodiment of Show, and never tell. The moment when Glinda wiped away Elphaba's tears...😢I was a complete mess. But the sce-no. The MOMENT where Elphaba's final note on Defying Gravity and her cape just FLEW off the theater screen, I was left in my seat, completely speechless! I cannot wait for the second part!
I read that there are going to be two new songs in Part 2 that Stephen Schwartz actually wrote himself to assist with the longer storyline of the film. I'm soo excited for Part 2! Part 1 way exceeded my expectations. I have seen Wicked several times on Broadway, so I've been looking forward to this movie for YEARS and it did not disappoint in the least! Defying Gravity was just WOW! The emotion both Cynthia and Ariana conveyed throughout the movie was spot on. Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible was quite different from the stage production, but I like her take on it for the big screen. It more suits her as an actress and I feel it translates better in the movie. In Part 2 I'm really looking forward to "As Long As You're Mine", "No Good Deed" (especially the "Fiiyyyerrrooo-ooo!" part), and "For Good".
The opening to the film I couldn't help but cry. I loved that they kept true to the original scores, the costumes, choreography, makeup, everything was PERFECTION. I cried so many times throughout the film due to both the story that is always so heartbreaking and the fact that i originally saw the stage production over 17 years ago and it was one of those things that is tattooed on my heart.
This was literally the stage show put to screen. And I loved it. This is what I want in an adaptation, nothing too extra, no new shoe horned in songs for a chance to win a best new song Oscar. No people we loved being combined into one another to become new characters we all hate. Just the story we know and love from one medium transferred to another.
When you said “I loved the cast…..except maybe one”. I KNEW which one. LMAO. I had the same thought. Great actress, miscast. I get why he wanted her. She was in the middle of some buzz about EEAOO, and was the new Hollywood It Girl. But man, just doesn’t work for me here. Morrible (even is she wants to play it more dramatic) has to sing. I guess maybe they’re going to give MM’s songs to Kaela Settle in part 2. I know they changed a few things. I don’t think the ruby slippers are gonna make Nessa walk, cause the girl playing Nessa is actually differently abled, and cannot walk. And they did say they are gonna add 2 songs for Act 2 (as others have said) cause it’s a little bare. And even the songs (March of the Witch Hunters?) are not great.
I saw wicked last night and I loved it. Also Funfact, in the Original book of The Wizard of OZ, The Shoes were Silver, Not Red. Red just popped more in technicolor. The songs are gonna Be in my head for days on end. I had not scene the musical for wicked before I saw Wicked The Movie. The Highnote that Cynthia Sang, Was amazing. Also Jeff Goldblum gave a Great Performance. Also Both Elphaba and The Wizard gave me Asha and Magnifico Vibes. But that Just may be me. This movie was 2 hours and 40 minutes long, and It didn’t feel like 2 hours. That’s how well the pacing was. Also I loved the Cameo’s Of Ms Kristin Chenoweth and Ms Idina Menzel. 0:32 Jonathan Bailey Sang His heart out in that song and I’m like “JONATHAN BAILEY I SEE YOU, OKAY!” 2:31 I actually did were Pink and Green Makeup, A pink tank top, Black Leggings, Neon Green Socks, grey Ankle boots, and I curled my hair, That’s how Excited I was.
The 1939 movie is the only thing most people know about Oz, hence why most people don't know the slippers were actually silver, or that the land of Oz is real, not a dream in Dorothy's mind (an invention of that film), so there IS more story to tell. Legit read a comment that someone was complaining that this was just woke fan fiction, which is HILARIOUS.
Such a perfect adaptation and I walked out feeling like we’ve finally got another epic musical movie to stand up with the likes of sound of music, chitty chitty bang bang, Mary poppins. I love things like hairspray and greatest showman but this stands in another calibre of musical that made me feel like I was a tiny kid again watching movies that have been playing since I was a baby because of my mums love for them (I saw lion king, chitty chitty and Mary poppins on stage before I was 4) and I couldn’t help but imagine watching this with any future kid I may have
The dance or ensemble scenes work better in this movie then on the stage, Cynthia & Jonathan are the MVPs and their singing is amazing, can’t wait until Part 2
I liked Michelle Yeoh. I think the theatrical interpretation of the character would have been too much for film. Be interesting to see how more extreme her characterisatuon becomes in the second part with the higher emotional stakes for Morible.
This, Color Purple AND imo Matilda on Netflix are the TRUE MUSICAL ADAPTATIONS on how it should be done I also cannot get the bridge of DG out of my head like Cynthia killed it and im not ready for when her and Ari sing For Good in part 2
PLEASE REACT TO "SPIRIT: STALLION OF THE CIMARRON"! It's a story about a strong, beautiful horse with a spirit that can never be broken. I cry every time I watch it! It's a INCREDIBLE film, and the songs are so cool! But it's not a musical and the animals can't talk. 😭💔🔥
Thank you for talking more about Cynthia. A ton of RUclips reviewers are praising Ariana bc they "were worried" or whatever. Our two main character girlies were equally impressive and perfect.
Possible spoiler?? The only thing I didn’t love about the movie was the breaks in Defying Gravity (excluding the parts that are in the play). It just killed the momentum a bit for me personally. But otherwise, it was SO good!! I need to see it again!!
I was so upset that I didn’t like Michelle Yeoh in this movie - I generally love her in everything I’ve seen but this just wasn’t the right part for her. I also read recently that Sheryl Lee Ralph (Abbott Elementary, Dreamgirls) and Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso, Kiss Me Kate) both auditioned for Morrible and honestly, either of those women would have been fantastic casting choices
Just came back from my second time seeing it! I adored it! Loved all of the homages to “The Wizard of Oz”-I appreciated that the film had more subtle references and nods to the 1939 film, vs I feel like the show does a lot of hitting you over the head with them. I appreciate that they had trust in the audience-a lot of “if you know, you know”…there were so many I couldn’t count…
love the commentary and am in line with a lottt of your opinions- will say the background music used for your video was quite loud and distracting 🫶 great job tho!
Just saw the movie today as it only just came out in my country today and I have loved everything about it and the only thing I didn't like which isn't directly related to the movie is the audience as they were very underwhelming but musicals aren't that popular where I came from so kinda expected tbh. I wanna see it again in theater but Idk how long it will stay in the cinema and if I'll have time before it's removed
I saw it today and it was fantastic! The cinematography was beautiful, the special and visual effects were amazing, and I loved the references from the original Oz movie! I’m already ready for part 2! 💚
I think most people didn't bother the colors but the weird lighting they are using in some scenes. I mean, you can backlight actors but it looks weird when they fade to silhouettes with black faces.
I’ll say this it was ok. That being said the musical parts were fantastic. But we have really gotten jaded with the quality of movies coming out lately being so subpar and uncreative that it makes wicked look amazing. I didn’t hate it. I thought the cinematography was pretty good too
After seeing how emotional they have been during the press tour and listening to BTS stuff regarding the Ozdust Ballroom, being bullied, crying during the scene...sorry, I understand why Cynthia was upset about people changing the poster. Oh well.
I agree with you. I think if anyone from the original cast, could have reprised their role for this movie, it could have been Carole Shelly (Madam Morable)She was so *perfectly* evil. And her voice (talking & singing) was *chefs kiss* perfect. Sigh 😢 what a shame. Rest in Peace :(
I will say I was very skeptical with Cynthia, I disagree with saying she can do whatever just because she can sing and act well. But with that said, I was very impressed with her singing so much so that I looked past her previous behavior. The movie did the play so well! I've seen it on broadway at least 3 times so I was mouthing the words to every single song and I'm waiting for the sing along version, very tempted in going to another showing lol
Michelle Yeoh has done a lot of different roles over her career drama, action etc. so I had no problem with her in the role or the singing. In Adaptations you need to have a solid mix of singers and actors as the thing I hate in movie musicals is over the top acting, leave that to the stage. Plus Director has done several movies with her so not a surprise she would be in it. It was a bit too long and not being a huge musical fan I hate the song, one minute of dialogue and another song. I liked it overall for what it was but laughed a lot when peeps in the crowd got the "To be continued" ending, they did not realize it I guess.
I think on a second viewing (which I assume you'll do) you'll warm up to Michelle Yeoh, now that your expectations are reset. I felt that what matters is how well her Morrible matches Cynthia's Elphaba. If this Morrible had been more over the top in all their scenes together, this Elphaba would have smelled a rat right away.
I actually really liked Michelle Yeoh's Madam Morrible. She made the right choices for the character in front of the camera, as others have noted. But I felt sorry for her in her singing section of "Wizard and I". I noticed that they allowed her to minimize it and speak her part more than sing it. I hoped she would do better in that moment, but I understand that she's not a singer and lacks confidence. Maybe she'll do better in Part 2 when she has some bigger singing moments. It takes time to find confidence when building a new skill.
Cynthia Erivo was the best! She made the movie. I was not impress by Ariana Grande, nor Jeff as OZ. I was so surprised Ariana was chosen to play Glinda. I thought the special effects were good. I couldn't get into the book, that's just me. I guess I expected it to stick to the original movie more in some ways. In my defense, I grew up on The Wizard of Oz. I hope Cynthia Erivo goes on to do other great things. I don't think I will go see the follow up movies.
My goodness... let's all give thanks to Lurline that they didn't add any new full songs! I don't know what people are talking about with the colour grading. If it was washed out at any point, I didn't notice it, and if I did notice it subconsciously, it matches Gregory Maguire's writing style so I wasn't mad. I liked Michelle Yeo, because I saw Rue McLanahan as Madame Morrible and she couldn't sing a single note. Yeo was a far better singer, and I liked the softer, more seductive and maternal vibe she brought. The stage MM is too abrasive to be alluring.
Live in Denmark where theater isn’t as big. But I still love it and did a lot of theater as a kid, anyway. I love this movie!! Saw it on thursday With my roomie and a friend and we all cried, laugh and gasphed together. I wish there was more theater here but it is what it is. Anyway, You have a new theater kid right here now💚🩷 Also, yes, I only started to discover what wicked was because of glee😆 Edit: I’m 23 years old btw
I thought Yeoh's performance was quite good, especially for people who have never seen the show. There is no reason for her to have a really strong voice. Goldblum doesn't have that strong of a singing voice either and that's ok too. I don't think the originals from the cast album had that strong of voices...Joel Grey was never the strongest of singers. I think Morrible needs to be heard for the lines, not for the belting of a song. As for part 2 they have already said that Cynthia and Arian will both be getting new songs.
I do wish Michelle Yeoh was a better singer, but I actually thought toning down her character was the right choice. I know several people who had never seen the stage show who were surprised and hurt by her turn at the end. I don't think that reaction would have been possible with a more ostentatious performance.
Loved the cinematic feel of this movie but it felt like act 1 instead of a movie. I think they should have done a better job of giving us more of the story.
I’m always going to be a little fascinated by the fact that this director made Jem and the Holograms, one of the worst movie adaptations of all time, that basically looked at the fans and said Fuck You, also directed two of the best musical adaptations in recent years, if not ever. This man has more than redeemed himself in my eyes, if Jem meant we got In The Heights and Wicked. I loved In The Heights and I ADORED this movie. The performances, the effects, the music, all of it is amazing. 2025 cannot come fast enough as far as I’m concerned! 😍
I went and saw this movie on Monday, and I have to say that I really enjoyed it, except for Jeff Goldblum. When I was younger and I saw him in the Fly, and in Powder and in Jurassic Park, I thought that his acting was really good, but ever since I saw him in Thor and in other recent movies, I have grown to dislike his acting. To me, at least, it seems like he is trying too hard to be funny, and it's not working in my opinion. I think he should stick with more dramatic roles, and leave the comedy to others.
I think the reason they added Keala Settle as the new head shizstress character is so that she can sing the songs in part two 💀 she already took some of morrible’s scenes. Makes yeoh seem more like an Oscar bait casting than a legit one sadly. But yes her strongest scene was at the end, she was incredible for that scene.
@@MoviesinDepth i am so glad u reviewed it. Im an actor too and i only saw show once but it is one of my favorites and elephaba is my dream role. So happy it lived up to my exceptations. Wish part 2 was coming sooner.
Nothing happening until the end of the movie! Way too much singing! Need more of a plot. If you like musicals it was good, if you want to see a movie, not very good! Of course they are going to make the ending good to entice you to watch the next one. The movie moves too slow!
It shouldn't concern you. I saw it today and it seemed like maybe an hour and a half instead of over 3 hours (including previews and commercials.) I loved it and loved what they added, not added, really just fleshing out more. I was very impressed with my audience, because they were very respectful of each other and nobody sang or any of that nonsense. Run to see it!
Dont be, it would be a tragedy if they cut even a frame of this. The only thing they could maybe cut is seeing them as kids but that was less than 5 minutes so it would still be a 2 parter regardless
Michelle Yeoh is there to be an amazing actor, not an amazing singer. The single casting choice that was made that way (outside of perhaps Goldblum), but I think it was a wise one, given the fact that they added the Miss Coddle character, I get the feeling we will see the incredibly talented Keala Settle take a bigger role in the second part. ALSO: I did NOT like the OBC cameo. It was too much. If they had them there to sing for a bit, or do one off lines like the writer and songwriter had, it would be cool. However, it went on for too long, and I found the literal meeting between them and the movie characters (almost like greeting family) to be way too much and out of place. Pure fan service, and I think the issue is that most fans that agree the Defying Gravity run was too much.
Michelle Yeoh should've declined Jon's request to be Madam Morrible. I love her in 'Crazy Rich Asians'. I remember her saying in a behind-the-scenes interview that she doesn't sing. Even with her not declining the role, she and Mr. Chu could've worked on other great projects.

I did see an interview with Jon Chu that there’s two new songs for the second part - I can’t wait for “As Long as You’re Mine”
Can't wait for part 2 there's so much to look forward tooo
Yesss so much on the horizon!!
I just saw it today. I am definitely going back.
I think as this film ages Michelle's performance will be better appreciated. I think it's masterful.
You need to do more reviews
Thank you so much for watching!!
@MoviesinDepth you should do more
When you said “I loved the cast…..except maybe one”.
I just cam home from the cinema and it was honestly incredible, I can't wait for part 2
YESS
Legit read a comment that someone was complaining that this was just woke fan fiction, which is HILARIOUS.
apparently john m. chu really wanted michelle yeoh to be cast - she told john that she is not a singer but he convinced her to take the part.
This, Color Purple AND imo Matilda on Netflix are the TRUE MUSICAL ADAPTATIONS on how it should be done
I also cannot get the bridge of DG out of my head like Cynthia killed it and im not ready for when her and Ari sing For Good in part 2
Spirit is a masterpiece 🙌
“Not a musical,” and yet there are a handful of songs in the film.😅
Thank you for talking more about Cynthia. A ton of RUclips reviewers are praising Ariana bc they "were worried" or whatever.
Our two main character girlies were equally impressive and perfect.
In my mind, it was the perfect adaptation. Just incredible!
Possible spoiler?? The only thing I didn’t love about the movie was the breaks in Defying Gravity (excluding the parts that are in the play). It just killed the momentum a bit for me personally. But otherwise, it was SO good!! I need to see it again!!
Very fair!!
Michelle Yeoh's singing is in the tradition of Glynis Johns and Hermione Gingold in A Little Night Music. And Mabel Mercer.
THANK YOU. IT WASNT JUST ME
@Yes, Patricia Arquette was “Kissin’ Kate” but Hannah Waddingham was in “Kiss Me Kate”… those are two different people doing two different things
Can't wait for No Good Deed!!!
SAMEEE
Just came back from my second time seeing it! I adored it! Loved all of the homages to “The Wizard of Oz”-I appreciated that the film had more subtle references and nods to the 1939 film, vs I feel like the show does a lot of hitting you over the head with them. I appreciate that they had trust in the audience-a lot of “if you know, you know”…there were so many I couldn’t count…
YESSS. I was on the same wavelength
love the commentary and am in line with a lottt of your opinions- will say the background music used for your video was quite loud and distracting 🫶 great job tho!
Part 2 can’t come fast enough!!
This has my vote for Best Picture. The best film I've seen this year.
Oh well.
People! Get over the 2part thing. We have become so impatient! This means we get another change to be in love!🥰
I went to the midnight premiere and I cried everytime someone started singing
Literally me
Great review and thoughts on the best film of the year!
Thank you for watching!!!
Rest in Peace :(
I heard Hannah Waddingham auditioned for Madame Morrible.
Very big of you.
Defying gravity is my go to song 🎵
I'm afraid I'm gonna have to call in absent today. See you next time.
What a great review I can't wait to see this movie ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You should 100% check out The Wiz 1978 movie! I grew up on that movie and it is wonderful. Also, love your videos!❤
I don't think I will go see the follow up movies.
couldn’t agree with you more man 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
My goodness... let's all give thanks to Lurline that they didn't add any new full songs!
I waited to watch this vid until I saw the movie and dayummm it was good! I thought it would be kinda meh but it was so good 🤩
Live in Denmark where theater isn’t as big. But I still love it and did a lot of theater as a kid, anyway.
I love this movie!! Saw it on thursday With my roomie and a friend and we all cried, laugh and gasphed together. I wish there was more theater here but it is what it is. Anyway, You have a new theater kid right here now💚🩷
Also, yes, I only started to discover what wicked was because of glee😆
Edit: I’m 23 years old btw
Omg iconic from start to finish
I loved it so much and I wanna see it again already 😭
SAME. TAKE ME BACK
just saw it and it left me speechless and if that's part 1 well
I thought Yeoh's performance was quite good, especially for people who have never seen the show.
Fair! I was ready to buckle down right there for 2 more hours to watch act 2 lmao
@ Unfortunately I’ve never seen Wicked. It just didn’t feel like a well rounded movie.
What a great review I can't wait to see this movie ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
YES. YOU NEED TO
I just came back from it it was so good!
PREACH
I went and saw this movie on Monday, and I have to say that I really enjoyed it, except for Jeff Goldblum. When I was younger and I saw him in the Fly, and in Powder and in Jurassic Park, I thought that his acting was really good, but ever since I saw him in Thor and in other recent movies, I have grown to dislike his acting. To me, at least, it seems like he is trying too hard to be funny, and it's not working in my opinion. I think he should stick with more dramatic roles, and leave the comedy to others.
Never seen the show, but now im more tempted to watch the movie!
YES. YOU NEED TO
Amazing film, i absolutely loved it!
PFF
@ makes me wish they had just cast Keala as Morrible, she’s famous enough I think isn’t she? Lol
Flesh out the cruelty to the animals! This is realistically.x
Btw Arcane officially ended yesterday
Gottttta catch up!!
You should do Oz:The Great And Powerful,it’s another good movie adaptation of the Wizard Of Oz movies
I haven’t seen it yet!!
@ it’s a good movie,I can’t remember where to watch it but it’s good and it was made back in 2013
This is movie of the decade y’all
Will you react to it?
This movie is fantastic!!!
YESS
@@MoviesinDepth i am so glad u reviewed it. Im an actor too and i only saw show once but it is one of my favorites and elephaba is my dream role. So happy it lived up to my exceptations. Wish part 2 was coming sooner.
Is it good or is it good? 🤭
BOTH
Please
0:04 wife?? 🤨
Nothing happening until the end of the movie! Way too much singing! Need more of a plot. If you like musicals it was good, if you want to see a movie, not very good! Of course they are going to make the ending good to entice you to watch the next one. The movie moves too slow!
the fact that this is LONGER than the Musical concerns me a little.
It concerned me too. But I think they did a good job. It didn't feel like it was that long.
Honestly not anything felt added that wasn’t just fleshing out stuff. I felt like it FLEW by… no pun intended lmao
@@MoviesinDepth ok thx for the tip!
Black vs Green.
A wheelchair witch? Come on, seriously?
DEI DISNEY PROPAGANDA!! Hey lets go back to Kirk Cameron and BRAVE BOOKS!
A wheelchair witch? Seriously?
DEI CASTING! Trump 2025!!
