Apple needs to approve a radar app, so that at a ‘glance" you can see what kind of storm you’re driving into. Much safer to glance than drive straight into a storm with little visibility. Here in Florida, there are always storms. Some look bad, but aren’t, others have 0 visibility. Come on Apple, let us choose the apps we need for safety.

I’m new to applecarplay. Just got a vehicle with it. How do you download these new apps? I see the ones that are already there but how about a little video on down loading apps to CarPlay.
Just download those applications onto your phone and any compatible ones will show up on your head unit in CarPlay when you plug your phone into your car. I’m new as well to owning a vehicle with it, but I’ve used it in rental cars in the past. Hope this helps!

Weather would be better if it told you what its going to be later on in the trip you are taking. I.e. in 30 minutes based on your current trip its going to be raining.

open the waze app scroll right, hit settings top left, click voice & sound 3rd icon from the top, Under sound you will see guidance volume lower or raise to adjust the volume ....

If you have a 2019 or 2020 QX60 then you have CarPlay.
carplay only works if your steering wheel has a voice control button. if it does have one go to settings, general, carplay and follow the instructions

Download Apps on your phone. Consider on CarPlay there are only a few apps that works
That car2play ad for wireless that ran before I watched this video is a China company I ordered one... it did not work and to get a refund I had to pay shipping back to China. Advise folks to steer clear of that car2play dongle.
