Is this Tail light works when we press the brakepedal,
@@MrMianfsd I listed as brake light bulb yes
With no ten/fifteen minute long chit chat in a 30 minute long video ( like someone else), you combined four things I desperately wanted to know into one video.... God bless you man!
Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video. Sometimes it's hard enough working on cars, and doing it one handed with a camera is even more difficult.
Thank you for understanding! Its really hard to get the right camera angles with one hand.
Thank you very much for the video. I have no idea how you got any thumbs down. I greatly appreciate this simplistic video that saved me time and money. God bless you.
Thank you so very much for posting this! It was a breeze to replace the broken tail light after watching this. It literally took 10 minutes tops. Saved me time and money!! I wish I could give you a hug.
Great job Sir! Thanks for the links too. Most people talk way to much about nothing...you wasted no words. awesome!
Glad this was the first video I found!
Thank you so much. I never changed a brake light before and this was easy.
Silence is golden.
Thanks, now I can go change out my blown bulb. Great video.
quick fast and one handed, thanks for the video...just a simple suggestion to get more view might be to add the year models this video covers. This is the only one I found for my 08.
I didn't even realize that, thanks for letting me know! :)
How do you
Like a mute boss. thank you VERY much!
Friend, you are so good to help us. Thank you.
Thank you very much. This was helpful. Job done.
Awesome detail
You are amazing! Thank you for this!
Your welcome! :)
Thank you
Thank you so much for this video! I was able to remove my light assembly but when I tried to put the new assembly in, I couldn't get it to line up perfectly. I then pulled on the chrome trim like you did but it wouldn't budge...so I yanked on it to pop the white tab out...which cracked the chrome bar a little. Am I missing something? Did you remove the chrome bar a little somehow or did I simply just yank too hard?
Its plastic so it is delicate. Mine pull right out but you can "punch" the white tab from inside the tailgate.
Thank you for this video!! Well done
Thanks
I appreciate your video, helped me a lot
Nice,!
awesome video! thanks so much !
You're welcome!
My 2009 inner drivers side always gets water in it when it rains. When you lift the tailgate it drips down onto the ground. No accidents all original.
Change the inner tailight's gasket.
Same here, after 12 years of aging of the rubber seals. I am using tapes as a temporary measure to make it water tight.

Other than adding what type of light bulbs, you should be doing this full time, making videos.
Parts are always listed in the description and comment sections.
Great video, exactly what I needed to see. What do you call that articulating tool you are using?
A ratchet with a swivel head extension. (1/4 inch ratchet with 1/4 inch swivel head)
MrRangerZr1 in the video it looks like you are using a 5/16 socket. I know the two are close, but which one should I buy?
Not sure what you're asking?
MrRangerZr1 you show a 5/16 socket in the video, but you just told me 1/4, so not exactly sure which I should buy. Appreciate your help!
The rachet size is 1/4, the socket size is 5/16.
Thank you for this video, one question for the replacement of Taillight assembly. I bought a new assembly, tried to put it in the tailgate portion. But it is easy to take it out and put it in because there is a hole to fit for the top of left side of the assembly (look at 5:00-5:10 minutes). Please reply how to loosen the portion.
Carefully yank on the taillight. Get a good grip on both ends and pull. If you still can't remove it, then go inside the tail gate and squeeze the white tabs to release them.
@@MrRangerZr1 Thank you for the question and answer. This was the only step that I couldn't figure out from watching the video. I reached in the back with some needle nose pliers and squeezed one of the white tabs. This allowed the trim piece between the two tail lights to loosen just enough to squeeze the new light in. Thank you for a great video!
Are the corner brake bulbs the same part number as the once located in the hatch door?
No. Check the links I posted.
Thanks for this video, question...my bulbs are working but when I tap the brakes nothing changes. SO it is like I have no brake lights. If you can answer , thank you.
Channge the bulbs and see if it fixes it
Yes, thank you for quick reply. Yes I did that today...same thing.
Check the brake switch under the brake pedal
Thank you, all worked out.
What’s the tool @3.59 minutes used called and what size
swivel socket listed in description
Where did you get that Orange pry tool at 3:20? And what is it called?
It's in the description.
Oh... haha will you look at that! Thanks!
No talk?
Thank you
Thanks
