Hello, thanks for sharing your review. Can I give you an advice? Let us see the full silhouette and shape of the truck please, you are all the time covering part of it. I am expecting mine in 2 months and I want to see the different colors, to see wich one I prefer. Cheers and keep the good work.
How is the ride quality on road when compared to a wildtrak? I am looking for comfort so I'm guessing the Raptor is slightly better however I drive a fair bit and that economy isn't great at all. Furthermore I'd probably put a canopy, dual battery, fridge in it, so I'm also worried about weight. Well let's say there will be about 150kg constant in the back. Which would you recommend between Wildtrak v6 and this Raptor? I had a PX3 wildtrak bi turbo. Upgraded to the Raptor X and now I'm looking at the next gen. With the Raptor X I missed the technology which was in the Wildtrak. Yes there are some places I cannot fit into.
@irfaanismail602 The ride quality is definitely better in the Raptor due to the Fox suspension, but a Wildtrak is still pretty decent compared to other dual cab utes. Having a constant 150kg in the back shouldn’t cause any problems for you. Both utes are a good choice, but depends on your priorities and personal preferences. The wildtrak V6 would give you the best of both worlds, as you’ll get decent performance with sensible fuel economy, or if you want a bit more luxury go for the recently announced Ranger Platinum
@bretthewitt2602 You access it using the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel. Press the button on the very right, then go down to 'settings' then go to secondary speedometer and press the ok button.
I like the idea of the V6 TT but with fuel prices the way they are and limited range on petrol will give it a miss, I would choose this in a heartbeat if they offered a specked up version of the 3L Diesel, it's also a shame Ford don't offer options to up-spec SPORT interior to black roof and bigger screens, the smaller screen for the driver looks crap compared to the larger Raptor version
I’d love a Raptor but the 2.5 towing capacity is a deal breaker for me, hoping they might find a way around that next year, or at least make it an option
It all depends on where and how you drive it. Mine has 4k on it now with an average of 13.0 per 100. Average speed is around 50kph, so shows that there isn't a massive amount of city driving to get that number. Highway driving you could possibly see low 11's. But if you give it some (which is hard not to do), then you will see north of 20. If economy is your thing, a 2.5 tonne petrol isn't your best choice. But if you want something to put a smile on your dial, and go proper offroading, then this should definitely be on your short list.
Grey, boring. Silver, common, Black, impractical, White, boring. Where are the reds, greens, blues, yellow even?? If there was a diesel OPTION, I'd buy one tomorrow. I want long distance touring, at GVM and off-road - all the climes that thirsty petrol engines are crap at. If performance and dounuts are Raptors' preferred market, then why not tweek the 3 litre diesel with twin turbo's. The weekend warriors can still have their petrol guzzlers.

In Europe there is diesel. But, I'll never understand why it isn't 3.0 V6
@trickster8635 you can get it Code Orange which is very bright! The V6 diesel would be good if it was twin turbo!
Год назад+1
@@WebbyOnCars even this one is OK in comparation to a 2.0 diesel. But you are right, one turbo for the each row of cilinders would be great. Or even sequential like 2.0
@ we had the 2 litre BiTurbo in the previous Raptor, and the new V6 model is much more popular as aussies love a car with lots of power

@@WebbyOnCars in EU it's the same. It's just that boring laws make this cars expensive for manufacturers to sell here, and high taxes for owners. Trust me, V6 with full 394 PS would sell here like crazy
Very nice review... the glove box on the left looks like it's broken, it doesn't seem to close properly. did that have any problem?
@gregory7285 Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yes, well spotted. The glovebox got broken and was waiting to be repaired when I filmed my video.
Great review! Iv never seen anyone pull that rear centre console down so easy! 😂
@TimHambly-jx8rz Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I've had lots of practice pulling down the centre armrest!!😂😂
Outstanding review covering much detail. Now when yours finally arrives you can skip the bs with the sales person and just go drive! Thank you!
@geedog440 Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I actually work at a Ford dealership selling new cars, and make review videos in my spare time.

@user-kq3kd6pt9y Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
How tall are you? Would a 6 footer be comfortable in the rear, You think??
@marcoprimo4042 I'm quite short only 5ft6, but I've seen much taller people sit in the back of a Ranger quite comfortably
bravo. finally someone explaining everything in great detail. because im also buying 1 . great video
@fordj7516 Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed the video
New viewers, love your vids on the next gen rangers specially the raptor. Keep up the awesome work 👏
@michaeldejesus7418 Thank you for watching my videos. I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying them

Great video Webby. Cant wait to get mine in the UK. Still waiting 😭
@dansage Thank you, it’s definitely worth the wait.
In the menu what is the secondary speedometer?

@Whopper-Bopper A twin turbo V6 diesel would be good I reckon, plenty of power and torque!!
What's the sound like in baja mode?
@mcvihemba A little bit gruffer than sport mode.
Thank you very much
@TheHeroheto No worries at all, I hope you enjoyed the video.
Another great video. Really good honest opinion. Absolutely fantastic vehicle.
@anthonyscott2880 Thank you I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the video. It’s a very impressive vehicle!
Great vid but couldn’t see the link to use the screen 🤷🏻♂️

$86K amazing how prices on cars keep rising every time you turn around, it's now starting at $94,900
@Whopper-Bopper Car prices are only going one way at the minute unfortunately!
@WebbyOnCars thanks to 31:51 the communist Labor government for increased prices on everything.
I trust his voice if he saying something good it means it’s good
@GurdeepSinghCheema Thank you, I appreciate your support
Great review as always, I'm expecting my raptor in June 23 😩 but from what I've heard it will be worth the wait 😃
@user-fm1gj5hq9h It’ll definitely be worth the wait! Have you ordered the electric roller shutter?
@@WebbyOnCars unfortunately I didn't, I may look at adding a hard lid or a soft cover down the track though.

nice job Webby, get some sun on those legs if you can lol

@-zerocool- Thank you. They're great fun to drive!

@jameswildon4712 Or maybe put the Raptor engine into a wildtrak?!
@@WebbyOnCars now you’re talking my language
@@jameswilson4712 I’ll suggest it to our Ford representative next time they come to my dealership
The F150 Raptor is rated to tow 8,200 lbs or you can go with a F450 max tow package and tow up to 40,000 lbs.
In Europe, we get the Ranger Raptor with the twin turbo V6, but we only get 212kW.
Tune it?
@DaveDVideoMaker That’s a shame. I wonder why your engine has a lot less power than what we get?
@@WebbyOnCars Probably emission regulations. But personally, I don’t mind.
@@DaveDVideoMaker You’re probably right there I reckon!
21L/100 ? God dam it's thirsty for a V6 3.0L
@marcusbarnes5929 Depends if you've got a heavy right foot!😂
When you talking fuel economy I guess if you can afford the 90k you can also afford to put the fuel in it 🤔
@darrenraitt234 exactly right
21l/100km really not for me im afraid with the cost of fuel these days.
@mbingham10 That’s fair. Be good if it came with the option of the V6 diesel but twin turbo
11.2lt per 100klm in 2H mode

Anyone else annoyed at the top glovebox wasn’t closed properly 😭
@harrisonkay575 I hadn’t noticed that but well spotted
That top glovebox looks a bit wonky and misaligned….? Whats going on there Ford?
@catchawakeup6411 At the time of filming it was damaged, and waiting for a replacement part to arrive.
shouldve picked a windier day to shoot this :)
@technation7769 I tried but this was the best I could come up with!🤣
it would b alot cheaper in fuel than my 600hp 76 ford fairlane.
