The issue with the brakes on the RR are really just the off road tires. The brakes themselves are more than adequate. Not only did it race in the Baja 1000 it took first in its class and complete the race in 26 hours if u do the math it averages about 40 mph during the race.
That's kinda true. They are on the smaller side, but that's the consequence of the wheel and tire package ofc. Absolutely! Killed it at Baja! Super impressive machine for sure
@@ProductReviewCarsI thought they were kinda small when I saw them on my Ranger Raptor for the first time but I’ve been told theres minimal brake fade which is most important. Because u could put the best brakes in the world on the truck it won’t stop any quicker you could put drum brakes on and it won’t stop any slower. As long as there’s enough pressure to lock the wheels up and turn abs on then that the best u can get. Stoping cars or trucks will always come down to tires.
Ford definitely built an amazing Crew Cab / Ute with the latest V6 Raptor. But many loose the whole concept of what this Ute was intended for ?? OFF ROAD Performance. The reality of this model Raptor is it's pretty much overkill for the average owner. Fuel Consumption is crazy ??? But people buy this model Raptor like it's half the asking price ?? I'm not a fan of Diesel Engines except for use in Trucks. But the positive of Diesel IF you used an Off Road vehicle for Off Road, is Diesel is available Everywhere. Which is something that many might not consider when they plan to go Off Road in their V6 Performance Raptor ?? As much as I Love the V6 Raptor, it's a bit of a Wank ute. Most owners would be lucky to take a Raptor Off Road for 1 day a month if they managed to do it that much.
@@0P9ine mate I saw a fella hoon out of a raptor today and he literally threw a milk crate out the door to step down into. Thats Napoleonic syndrome. 😂😂
Idk sounds cooler than pick up or light vehicle 🤷♂️ Aussies call it a Ute, South Africans call it a Bakkie. Tbh they all mean the same type of vehicle.

Big cars for little five foot six men. I've never seen a bloke over five foot six drive one. They have to jump out. 😂😂😂😂😂
If you can reach the pedal that’s all that matters 😂

Did you say ute?
Many times. Thought he said it pretty clearly
@@maximuslongrod6361 remember the movie My Cousin Vinny?
Why do other people call it a truck? What I know is that you need a truck licence so you can drive a truck, not with your regular licence.

Pretty much everyone in Canada or the USA will call it a truck
