Throw in a pinch of xanthan gum (or make a frappe base with it) to help make the consistency smoother, a little thicker, and to keep the mixture from separating.
We just moved to Mexico. Those folks (and much of Latin America) love their instant coffee. Guess I’ll have to learn to like it too. But this is an excellent idea.
Great video brother. I recently purchased a Vitamix. I've been experimenting and I recommend a pinch of xanthun gum to hold the ingredients together. It also thickens the mixture.
Hi Brian< Ok so I just made this and it was really good! Just curious how much coffee to use in this recipe? I used 1/4 cup cold coffee and instead of Caramel I used Smuckers Chocolate When I read the recipe you forgot to list the coffee as an ingredient Anyhow thank you again!
dude thanks for the heads up you're funny😂 and your recipes are on point FYI I did add it some heavy cream on the second time around😅 and it was totally delicious thank you so much
@@BriansKitchen it wasn't creamy, but then again I never had a frappe so have nothing to compare it to. I did like it! I used whole powdered milk. I thought about melting some chocolate chips instead of the mocha syrup but I was in a hurry to make this. maybe next time.
Next time you make reserve enough of finished drink and pour into ice cube tray to avoid loosing flavor by adding ice only (add frozen drink ice cubes).
See how (end of video) it looks like coffee with snow on top? That’s because the ingredients did not combine with the ice. The secret ingredient is a pinch of xanthan gum. Trust me!
Honestly, because I am still trying to figure out what people actually want to see as opposed to what they don't care about. I do appreciate this feedback though. It helps with how I edit a video because I have zero idea of what I am doing with video editing and figuring out what people want.

I’ve heard of this. I should try it. 😊

Thanks man! I heard that too. Haven't tried it yet.
@@BriansKitchen I'm hearing guar gum is good as well and probably better suited for cold drinks even though the go-to seems to be xanthan
You are a hoot! Summer is coming and it’s gonna be hot in the southwest US. Will be making this one often. Thanks!! 😊
Just got a creations 2 and loving it. Have been using your Vitamix recipes and they're great. Hoping you upload some more someday!
This is literally how a practical guy would explain a recipe 😂😅
The instant coffee sounds like a good idea. I spend a ton of money at Starbucks. Thanks

Yours sound just as wonderful! I may have to try that.
Thanks for a great video! Gotta try this one!🙂👍
Yep. Doing this for sure. But I have a jar of saunders that's someone must have gotten me. So I'll use that

You are very kind Sussie!!
Made this with cold decaf mocha coffee, mocha syrup and powdered whole milk and monk fruit sweetener. Yum!
How did the texture turn out?

Yeah, the more dairy you use the creamier it gets!
Pro tip, add 1/4 teaspoon xanathan gum 😊. Makes it creamier and helps with the consistency
I have heard this! I tried it and it definitely works but you have to be very careful not to use more than that!
@@BriansKitchen lol, found that out! Slimy mouth! For 20 oz I found 1/4 teaspoon is perfect
This looks delicious
Thanks Brian I can't wait to make this with my grandkids you are hilarious
Thanks so much!
Love this recipe!! Thanks Brian!
Thanks for the comment, Denise! Which machine did you get?
This was awesome and easy !
I know, right?!
I can’t wait to see your recipes using your a3500. I just got mine and a cold and hot ninja coffee maker. I can’t wait to try this!
Should be putting out some videos soon. I'm getting better with it! It's a little different than using my 5000 model.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is the reason I wanted my vitamix lol
ME TOO!!! It's the reason I created this channel to be honest!
Thanks bud 🤜🏻🤛🏻
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Very nice! Just a sidenote: the caramel syrup got kinda stuck underneath the blades.
This hasn't happened to me. In that case I would add the caramel as the last ingredient before you turn on the machine. Glad you enjoyed it!
@@BriansKitchen thanks, i'll try that!
Starbucks uses xanthan gum in their fraps. That’s why they are thicker.

Interesting.... 🤔
@michael Campbell I tried that today and I added tooooo much hahahaha it ended being like plastic frappe, later I'm going to try with just a pinch
My second video. First one you made salsa and now this one. Kitchen different. Must have moved between salsa video and this one!
Actually I started filming in my basement kitchen. Same house!
I know in the video you said a tablespoon or two of coffee, but its not listed how much in the ingredient list, might want to edit it in
Thanks for letting me know. I hope you enjoyed the recipe! BTW, I used about 2 tbsp of instant coffee.
omg! trying this! P.s. anyone ever tell you, you sound like Ryan Reynolds? hehe
LMAO! That's a first! I don't hear it...now if I could only look like him.... 😐
No more Starbucks for me mate😎
This will save a ton of dough-re-mi! 😊
@@BriansKitchen did you see my ice-cream video?
It will also save some dough-re-mi😂😂😂😂
nice recipe, look at mine too. maybe we can work together!
Dude, I would totally be down for that! I have zero idea how to collab with someone and I know it's important to do so... Let's do it!
Why did you cut from pouring the crap into the cup to a perfectly-created cup with whipped cream and everything? Why not show it until the end?
