The first two tracks I heard off this album were just too CCM for my tastes, but this and That Was Then And This Is Now are startlingly perfect. Makes me think I should buy the album after all.
You're too unique to break solo. I'm not excepting a DC Talk record anytime soon but looking forward to the reunion on Toby's new album. In the mean time, keep up the awesome work.
This is pretty amazing. There's nothing I love more than when artists (of any medium) do what they do WELL. Probably not going to make Billboard top 10, but I think that's because it does more than get ones toes wet - it completely submerges from toe to head. THIS is the KMax I know and love! Can't wait for more :)
Yes, but doesn't it seem like the mass-media industry has a hard time appreciating true art? Like Quincy Jones said, "When you chase music for money, God walks out of the room." And all they can see are the dollar signs. The industry is so flawed. People like Kevin, (who are SO talented but yet independent enough/with enough passion for true art and beauty that they will keep making it on their own instead of compromising their artistic beliefs to make more money,) are precious!!

Yes, I used to have 3 octaves as a teen, Was a high soprano, as I've matured its more soprano/alto etc. I had a very good chorus director who while doing scales, discovered the range when I was 13/14 ish. Thanks for asking.
