Im a 42 yr old mom, but when i was in High School I had such a huge crush on Kmax. Voice is always beautiful. One time he said he liked red heads and I dyed my hair red for a whole year! I had snipets of his picture on my walls of my room, from pictures in christian magazines or random mags. I always kinda knew he wasnt like the rest of the dc talk members. Glad hes still out there singing his heart out! You still sound great, sir! ❤😅

Love it Kevin. Been a fan more many years, and can so relate to so much of this song. Questions are meant to be asked, and Sometimes the answers you seek can’t be given to you by any single religion, you have to uncover them on your own and often that means thinking outside of the box and questioning everything. It’s a gut check forsure, and trust me….your not alone. Took me too many years to figure things out myself. Personal truth is the most important discovery I have ever made. Until you land on whatever yours is, keep being you, and keep changing lives with your music.

Good poem here. I’ve had a lot of these thoughts myself. I am Christian, loved DC Talk in the 90s. But, sometime churches are annoying for sure. I finally found one that doesn’t care how I dress. I wanted a real fellowship, not just a place to “check off” my attendance. Yes, there is much more to God than the fundamentalists preach, for sure. Maybe that’s what you are looking for, Kevin, it’s also what I am looking for.
