A couple of months ago I made my sister a bling journal to go with her jewelry business, then about 1 month ago her daughter came by my house while I was going through all my JJ supplies to give to my sister to get her started making journals. Her daughter saw an altered book I made and that got her started My Sister made 3 altered books for gifts and her daughter made one for a friend. Long story short, I created 2 junk journal addicts. Anyway, I have made 2 of these and am filling them with lots of goodies to give both of them this coming week. Thank you for all your wonderful ideas and your great instructions on making everything. Keep up the great work, TFS.
"Putting the pockets on the pockets." I adore it. The first little folio would be a great middle of a signature for a journal.
What a great idea!
Oh My Stars!!!! I just cleaned up my art room and ended up with a box of goodies and scrapbook paper I didn't know what to do with! Well I'm now going to make a bunch of happy mail. 😊 It just proves we all have to much and so we need to share!!! Love this and thank you so much ❤❤❤❤❤❤
You have so many fantastic ideas I could cry. I moved house 2 years ago all the way down the East coast of USA and really screwed myself. Long story short, new house is same sq. footage as old, but new house is laid out so it;'s almost less than half the size of what I left and had to get rid of SO MUCH stuff, 4 decades worth to fit. Almost all my craft stuff got thrown out or stolen in the move.
Omg the timing is impeccable. I'm broke RN and I'm looking for ways i can give my bestie a gift
Best RUclips channel in the world!!!
Thank you so much!
I love how you encourage us to use our imagination. You give us so many ideas and nothing is ever wrong. I love this tutorial as I love all your tutorials.
WOW...this is so very cool...!! And what a fun and quick little project! You must dream about crafty ideas...as they are endless! And as always, perfect!
Thanks for sharing your creativity...and for giving us so much inspiration!
You're the BEST!
Hugs from central Illinois USA 🇺🇸
❤ Suzy
Thank you so much Suzy!
Thanks for sharing. Happy crafting on a budget 💲. Happy everything on a budget💲. See👁 you in the next 🎥 and on the flipside. 👼🌹
Your videos bring me so much joy. I love it when I discover one I haven't seen before (like this one). I'm someone who thinks you can never have enough pockets in a bag so it's inevitable that I love seeing you create such a lovely pouch with so many pockets. They look beautiful. Thank you for taking the time to share your creative skills. Your projects never fail to inspire me... you're my favourite paper crafter on RUclips!
I just found this video and I’m hooked…I’ve made three in one day! Thank you for the idea and the thoughtful and simple, thorough directions.
Your video’s are my absolute favourite! And your Journal’s are amazing! Thank you for sharing your Artistic skills! 🥰
Thank you so much!
I love these, Natasa! Simple enough to make, fun to stuff, and delightful to have. I always look forward to seeing your creations and I’ll enjoy trying to make one of these. TFS!
I am imagining having the pockets filled with personalized things, such as photos of family/friends or favourite places and lots of other meaningful and/or useful items. Thank you for sharing this. 💜
Start sewing from the top outside so you end top outside to end with string to tie beads or charms to. Great project. I love all of the ephemera. Thank you for sharing this project with us. Happy day!!.
My mom & I love watching you. We are going on a girls art weekend and we’re making this. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🇺🇸
Dear Natasha,
many many thanks for this tutorial! It is very great and simple - after your excellence explaining and showing! I have just tried it - and it worked! I am very happy with it. Especially with the getting smaller sides.
Thanksful greetings from Hamburg, Germany! Rita
Thank you so much!
Wow - gorgeous! Love the pockets everywhere! I suspect if I visited Taperlogy site I would end up not eating for a month!
Great journal, as well as your other projects.
I relate with so many things you share.
My husband was refugee, very sad.
Everyone is born with there God given gift and passion, I am thankful I found it.
Paper, creating, etc.
We lost so much, it's been awhile, I am inspired how you share how so much we need can be done without buying all the things, instead there is another way.
I get lost in my creating, helps to get through , and of course don't know how anyone gets through without our Lord and savior Jesus.
Keep doing what you are doing, because you never know how much your you might encourage someone else.
Question do you have siblings, that craft as well
Question does your husband craft as well.
It's neat that guys are crafting, knitting
Like Tim Holtz.
Thanks for your channel
You are so very creative! Love all your journals! As a fellow stamper I’ve learned not to “rock” my stamps up and down or left to right. Also if you leave the stamp up and tamp the ink pad down to the stamp that helps the not collect onto the edges!
Oh what a great tip, thank you!
What a joyful paper lovers folio. And I mean who isn't a paper lover? I would love to receive one of these and I will enjoy making one or two just as much. Fabulous 🤩
Thank you Natasha. This idea will be the perfect place to leave the finishing touches that I encourage my buyers/recipients to place in the journal themselves. Very pretty, very appreciated, very cool!
Natasa, you are the treasure of Treasure Books.
This is one of my favorite projects! I find them to be very flexible and each one is different depending upon the paper and ephemera. Great gifts for my friends and family for Christmas and other occasions.
Another awesome Treasure Books project! So creative. Thank you for sharing and for your excellent educational instructions. You are a Treasure!❤️❤️
Thank you so much!
I have watched this a few times with the hopes of creating one for myself. I always love watching your videos multiple times because 1st of all the video itself is such good quality and 2nd of all everything you make is so beautiful! And I love how you explain things it really makes it easier for me to feel like I can do stuff :)
This is perfect for a new mom brag book to later fit into a scrapbook! Natasha, I am grateful you share your genius with us. I think I'm also going to use it to hold memories tucked for an 80th birthday gift! So many fun uses for scrapbooking also. TFS
Love the layering concept very eye catching . I am going to try and make one. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much! I love the way you teach and explain how you can adjust and also how to follow you as I build my confidence. Wonderful and so much fun!
I'm always inspired when I watch your videos. I would love to send you something from your videos. I love how you make every crafter feel they can do something from any paper if they cannot afford to buy the kits. Thank you.
This is just the best. If i got this as happy mail i would smile for a week. I can’t wait to make this. Thanks for showing us. Hugs !!!!!
Thank the lord for you Natasa. You have so many good ideas that inspire me to want to do more.more more! Tfs xxx
I went to your etsy to see if these were listed (or already sold). I'm sure whoever receives them will love it!! (the pre made one with the cooler colors is SOOOO up my alley 💖). While I haven't made a junk journal yet, I have used your ideas in Birthday cards and snail mail. The pockets are great for stuffing money lol. Can't wait for the next video!!
This is really the perfect gift for paper lovers. I love it!
You are such a good Teacher. I so enjoy spending my free time with you gathering info, ideas and and learning. Thank you.❤
This project is so VERY CREATIVE, I LOVE it!! I adore anything that is interactive that creates excitement, and this surely does. Excellent idea, TFS!
Thank you so much!
Love this concept. The three bound pages layered in that way is really eye catching. Such a good idea for themed gift giving as a small starter journal.
OO! OO! Oh! AAAH! (All the noises paper lovers like me make). Just love, love, love this! Perfect for gifts . Really like the first 3 papers part. As ususl, you are a Paper Genius, Natasa! Thanks so much. My mind just swirls every time I watch you! Hugs
Thank you so much Eileen, hugs to you too xoxo
OMGoodness, you mind is a creative energy unto its own. LOVE this project Natasha - Thank you, Michelle
Thank you so much!
OEPS.. She did it again!!!!!
Soooo beautiful these little books with images and vellum.
The nearest hobbyshop is about 400!!! Km away from here and with so little people who do arts and crafts in this country, Namibia, , it is not worth it for this shop buying all these beautiful art supplies. So we do it with all we can find anywhere else. And we do manage good!!!
Next time my son comes from Australië I will ask him. If he can find it overthere and bring me a few.
This is so beautiful I love it and will make these or Christmas Gifts for my friends. Thank you Natasha for the fabulous idea. You are the best instructor and maker.
thank you Loretta!!
I see three people gave a dislike 👎 to the video. All of these hardened hearts. Some just don't get the purpose of the little hands. Regardless, I shall add them to my prayers. 🧐
Haha thank you so much. I really don't even look at likes or dislikes to be honest. But I do read all my comments, and that is what matters to me :)
@@TreasureBooks I think the people that bother to take the time to leave a dislike have got to be living a very miserable life. I wouldn't expect you to bother either. Happy Day
And another fabulous video. Thank you for the inspiration I agree with Carol A. My new motto is: we're all in this together. Happy mail is just 1 more one of being together. That's inspiring too.
Lovely, inspirational, versatile and joyful! Perfect! TFS 🤗🦋🌻🕊️
Just wanted to tell you that this project came in handy already. Tomorrow I am meeting a friend I haven't seen for a long time and she's a crafter too. So what is a better gift than this lovely folder filled with fun stuff. I really enjoyed making it! So thanks again!
Have a blessed week 🕊️🤗
Oh, how I love this video! Fun to make, fun to gift, and fun for the receiver! Thanks for your wonderful ideas! This is an excellent project!!
What a wonderful idea. It's so beautiful. A folder like that would be wonderful to store the tiny pieces of paper ephemra and scraps that are too beautiful to recycle or toss. Those Taperlogy products are just lovely also. Will have to look those up as well. Thanks for sharing this wonderful idea.
Oh Natasha, I just love this project! I have autumn, Thanksgiving and Christmas scrapbook paper that will work beautifully doing this! Plus I have a little recipe booklet that will be perfect tucked in a pocket. What great gifts! I hadn't seen things actually used from Taperlogy, so this was also great. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful brain! I just love watching your videos!😘❤⚘
I actually like the "imperfection" of the bird stamp
Thank you for another lovely gift idea which is useful, clever, elegant, doable and completely inspirational. The wheels are definitely turning in my head. ❤
Thank you Natasha! I like this. I'm in awe of your ideas. I will make this. I've made so much stuff I think I'm going to open and Etsy shop and start selling some of it. Thank you for the inspiration to start my dream job. I recommend you to everyone when they see my projects. Waving hello from across the pond.
You are so encouraging. I never feel I fill my pockets enough or with the right things.
You are so right who wouldn’t want to receive one of these! An enjoyable project all around!!
Perfectly perfect.
This project is so unique…….there will never be two alike.
Watching you make this was like a creative course in design……..you give the basics and we create with what we have……love it.🥰
Thank you so much 🤗
I made this! First one EVER! There are a few (many) mistakes but I love it. If I can figure out how to share it with you I’ll do that. Thanks for all of your encouragement.
oh my... I think I would faint if I received this in happy mail!! lol great ideas natasha 👍 👏
Natasa!!! I love these!!! I love the pretty paper too. I'm a huge fan of the mushrooms, butterflies, really anything in nature grabs me and melts me clear to my very soul. This is adorable ❤️🍄 Thank you! 🦋🥰🧚🏽♂️
Love love love these!🥰😍. I am going to teach my Granddaughters to do this as gifts for their teachers at the end of the school year!!! They are 6,7 and 8 and we are having a blast making ‘junk journals’. But they are anything but junk! Treasures are more like it😊. Thank you😘
Hi Natasa:
If you’re going to sell those, better make a bunch! Think they would sell out immediately. Taperology has the most beautiful ephemera packs and little books. You did a great job constructing the pages and filling them with all that ephemera. Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial. 💜😎🇺🇸
Love this! It would be an AMAZING GIFT of paper! You are so creative!!! Thank you for sharing your wonderful talents! ❤️🥰🥰❤️❤️
Thank you so much Mary!
This is simply fantastic!! 💝💖#LoveIt
Thank you Natasha for sharing such wonderful ideas. I always enjoy you videos. They are great inspiration for projects.🤗💕
Absolutely love it when you post a new video!!!! Always great tutorials and ideas!
I have already made 2 folders. They turned out beautiful. Would love to add a picture for your comments. Thanks for showing us how to make
So get quick and easy. Blessings from New Zealand
Thank you Natasha - this is a lovely project and a great way to use up supplies! Happy Mail ideas are always so much fun to create and send to others. Hugs, Lynn
I made this without the extra papers inside as a journal for my husband. He is a keen nature photographer so I used nature type pages. He will fill it with his deer photos and I made two large tags so he can do some journalling for posterity. Thank you for a great tutorial
Oh wow, how wonderful!!!
you are the best i love your books ,i made your envelope book and i loved it ,thank you my dear
This is so pretty and as always your videos are so good. You are a wonderful teacher! I appreciate you!
Thank you so much!
Apart from how gorgeous this is and in how many different ways it can be used: Not cutting the binding thread until the pages are bound in is GENIOUS! I have a talent for guestimating the wrong length and always end up with too much or too little. Thank you!!!! But also: Wonderful idea and thank you for sharing your creativity with us!
I'm slow finding you but I am glad I did. I just made one while I was watching you. I haven't filled it up at all yet but tomorrow is another day. Thank you so much
❣️❣️this! Just wanted to let you know that I think the little mistake you made with the stamp was just fine without covering it up. I would NEVER have said that before (being a recovering perfectionist!!), but THEN a few months ago I discovered junk journaling!😃And a big part of the vintage/collage look is partial/imperfect/overlapping images, so I just thought your mistake gave your page authenticity !! Lol! Lovely projects!
I totally agree with you Priscilla. Character and happy accidents. No mistakes!
I’m a stamper. And you asked “why oh why?” You got that little extra ink. Be sure not to rock the stamp. It’s not necessary to rock the stamp as long as you have enough ink on the stamp. Press and pull directly up. I apologize if this is a repeat of somebody else’s comment. Just Love what you do on your channel. You are the best.
Thank you for the tip Ruth!! I find that some stamps are much deeper, or rather stick out more - the bits that make the image. And other stamps are very shallow. I never rock the stamp, straight down on paper and up, but with those "shallow" stamps, its sometimes difficult :(
Those are so gorgeous (as always). You motivate me the point where I can’t sleep because I want to get up and craft……!!!!
Yaaaay!! I know that feeling well!
Natasha this is gorgeous!! What a fun idea! Thank you for sharing with us ❤
This is one of my favorite styles and can be used for many different themes. I love the interactive pages. There’s so much movement in this little book. And what a great gift for someone who may want to make their own journal, or just decorate this one as they fill it up with their memorabilia, photos, or writings. I think that I’d add a little journal booklet, for that purpose. Thank you. You are soooo very creative. I love all of your videos. I have made 2 mini journals using the paper lunch bags. I think this will be my next one.
I'm so glad you feel inspired! thank you for watching :)
WOW!! So much fun to be had making and filling up this cute ephemera holder. I love it!! 😀💚. Thank you so much for this tutorial.
Spectacular idea! I can not wait to try these for myself! Thank you so much for your videos they are so inspiring! I could watch you all day!
Fabulous! I'd love to see one filled with the ephemera that YOU make, Natasha!❤️
Un magnifique journal à offrir. Merci de Nous partager vos créations…
Inspired is not close enough to my experience with this tutorial. Once again, Natasha , bravo. Hugs

Thank you so much!
I just received a new Penpal in my junk journal group. I am going to make one of these to send her with my first letter. I will write on the back of my insert card where I got the inspiration from and maybe she will love you just as much! I would love love love to receive something like this! I am like you and like to thumb through all the surprises!!
Wonderful! Have fun making it :)
❤️ 😍 ❤️, Natasha you’re “Simply the best”. TFS
I truly love this what a great ideas love your ideas and work thank you for sharing always enjoy watching what you create thank you
Theola
Thanks so much 😊
PURE GOLD!!!....thank you gorgeous lady....awesome project...Huge hugs...Maxxii-Michelle...Perth ...WA xxxxx
These are amazing. I don’t have a lot of ephemera because I am just starting out with my journaling. But maybe I can just make empty ones for now. Thank you. I love this idea💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
I barely have any scrapbook paper, none double sided. So I just practice using printer paper, binder paper and graph paper, I can use colored pencils to make designs or shade a paper, or some cheap watercolors. I'm not sure where people are finding all these double sided scrapbook pages, the craft store just has single sided pages buy one at a time. I can cut images from magazines or food packaging. Old maps can be used too, wrapping paper bits.
@@recoveringsoul755 Thank you very much for the ideas. I forget that I probably have stuff around the house that I can use. Hav a great day💕
@@sandofthesun old Calendars are great too. I'm kicking myself a bit as I just helped a friend declutter her mum's house and we threw out lots of really old invoices and things from the 60s.....sob....
Oh natasha..this is a brilliant idea,thank you.xx
I love this project! I have already started using it to make a Christmas card for my son and daughter-in-law. I plan on putting pictures of their twin babies in it instead of ephemera. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas : )
Oh how special!!
Natasha, you are so talented! I just love your ideas! Thank you for another beautiful journal, and fantastic work! Can’t wait to make one of these! 💕🤗🙌🏻🥰
