Not going to call you stupid. Think about how much plant material dies in a square mile over 2000 years. Consider alone how much dust you clean off of your shelves every week. If you live closer to a major highway that dust amount doubles. Consider the number of animals that die and turn to dust, or even people. The amount of poop that comes out of these animals and people over 2000 years. Then consider that every year 5,200 tons of space dust falls to earth every year. Things get buried.
