    Your great at making tutorials I mean claymations are now one of my favorite RUclips vids like the legend himself lee hardcastle is my favorite RUclipsr even though he’s really gruesome I love his content also other claymations like twin tales, Trent shy, and more I mean it all starts with you because your the one showing us how to be like them I mean I’ve got a small Chanel but if it wasn’t for people like you and lee I wouldn’t want to have a career in film and work with animation keep up the vids

    Can you make stop motion puppet using wooden dowels and hook nails

    • @MichaelParks
      @MichaelParks  Год назад

      The wooden dowels would work as the bones, but hook nails wouldn't hold them in position. You would still need to connect the dowels with wire.

    Here's a question how do you use refrence footage when animating and should you always use it?

    • @MichaelParks
      @MichaelParks  2 года назад

      My tutorial on dancing gets into reference footage. I don't always use reference unless I'm really going for believable, precise timing. The more cartoony the motion, the less you need reference. But it's also good for beginners to learn about timing, even if you're going for an exaggerated style.

    I want to do stopmotion, do you have any ideas on how to get started?

    • @MichaelParks
      @MichaelParks  2 года назад +1

      That's pretty much the purpose of the tutorials I've made (ruclips.net/p/PL44F7344428AB62FC). There's one on basic setup, though it's a little dated in that it goes into using camcorders. But there's a newer tutorial on using a phone.

    How do I know if sound effects taken from video games/films are copyrighted? and would a feature film production actually require purchasing said assets from their source?

    • @MichaelParks
      @MichaelParks  2 года назад

      A sound effect taken directly from a video game or film would be copyrighted. Feature film productions buy the rights to the sound effects they use, or create their own. Studios often just have their own library of sound effects, or if they hire a service provider like Skywalker Sound, they're paying for the rights to use the sound effects available in their library.

      I've just used toy cars, like ones made for barbie.
