    We LOVE the White Mountains! We have some amazing memories with our children there in our Aerolite camper. We are fascinated by the battery troubleshooting. We trust you guys impeccably on battery investigation. We are learning through you, before we take the plunge! King Arthur tour was fun. We will continue to follow your saga. 😊 -Jim & Michelle

      Thanks guys - sorry for the delay. We are so lucky to be in New England - much like you guys in wonderful Michigan. KAF is worth the trip next time you are in our neck of the woods...

    Rich, I have to say 99% of the time I like simple. However, in case of the sandwiches Cindy’s looked 100 times better to me. I love that each employee volunteers in their community. Says a lot about their values and I am sure those values are added into their products which create quality products. Safe travels

      Thanks Cotton Tales! I don't think we captured it but I sampled Cindy's sandwich. You are absolutely correct - hers was much better. The bread was soft and perfectly seasoned...

      Thanks for watching! Yes, their products are great but knowing the history and how the company operates as 100% employee owned makes it even better.

    Great video! You really got Debbie’s attention when she heard King Arthur flour would be featured. She’s been baking sourdough bread since the first of the year.

    We loved the dog biscuit trays and mixes! That would be fun for our 15 year-old camping companion! The voltage regulator on your alternator is optimized to charge lead acid battery chemistry. The very best solution would be to add the new Victron Orion XS to your system which you can set up to optimize the charging of your Battleborn lithium. It’s super efficient, small, and lightweight. You can set the charge current to a “do not exceed” value, fully safeguarding your alternator as well as the 7-way plug wiring. Plus, you can see details of the process on your phone from your truck while underway. I think you’re like me; more data is better!

      We have completed my "paralysis by analysis" phase and have decided on the Victron Orion 12V 30A DC to DC Charger. We're just waiting for the Airstream International Rally to purchase it and support our Vendors and maybe get a deal. As they say, "In God We Trust. All Others Bring Data"...

    Hey first time Im first! Thanks guys. I marked Cannon Mt as a “Want to go”. Looks beautiful, and you had me at full hookups! Following your battery saga as we just changed our truck batteries too. They were 5 yrs old, but we are monitoring the situation along with you!

    Thanks for info about this Cannon Mtn SP. I went to make a reservation and see the campground is a NO DOGS ALLOWED CAMPGROUND! WOW!
    This is the first time we have ever in 17 years of RVing seen a campground-much less a state park campground forbid any pets! Perhaps this is something you should have mentioned either verbally or by caption in the video since it is such an out of norm for most in our camping communities! We will make our plans to include the King Flour Co visit so thanks again for that info!

      Thanks for watching and we're sorry you couldn't bring your dog. Pets are prohibited at all New Hampshire State Parks during the prime camping season. We ran into this earlier in the year at Hampton Beach State Park where a few of our friends could not take their dogs. King Arthur Flour is definitely worth the trip and they allow dogs (outside at least)...

    My truck is a 2018 F-150 with a 2.7 liter EcoBoost, standard alternator and 96,000 miles on the odometer (original owner). Our RV is a 2022 TAB 320 with 17,000 miles traveled so far. We installed a 100 Ah Battle Born lithium battery immediately after purchasing the RV. We have not had any issues with our alternator or lithium battery. Apparently the wiring between the truck fuse panel and the lithium battery is small enough to effectively limit the amps available to charge the lithium battery (resistance caused by the smaller wire size combined with the length of the circuit). We have found that the truck alternator provides almost no additional charging current to the lithium battery. Even long drive days barely have any effect on the voltage of the lithium battery even when the lithium battery is below 50 percent at the start of the long drive day. Hope that helps!

      Thanks for watching and the additional information on your experience. I'm probably overthinking this and the root cause of us getting stuck earlier was a dying battery - not the alternator/ battery interaction. Still, it's fun to research before I just dive in and get a DC to DC Charger.

    As a general rule, approximately how much do you spend a year on camp ground(s) rental?

    • @LuvSubbin
      @LuvSubbin  3 месяца назад +1

      Thanks for watching! I'll give you our average campground cost per night because the total is dependent on the number of nights traveled. 2020 - $44.07 2021 - $34.13 2022 - $40.33 2023 - $39.18 2024 (YTD) - $46.68

      Thanks for watching! My thoughts exactly. I think a lot of people have an issue with the "No Pets" rule at NH State Parks. If I was a NH tax payer, that would bum me out.
