- We've all done it... looked across the horizon to see a 'beautiful opportunity' in the distance and chased after it like we would a rainbow. We’re searching outside of ourselves for the sparkling magic that can cure what troubles us - some sort of answer, a some kind of fix.
We spend way too much time watching what everyone else is doing, and comparing our lives to that. And our enjoyment of life is earmarked for some point in the future when we have the right partner, enough money, a bigger house...
I vote we give up chasing rainbows on the outside and start looking for the treasure inside instead.

@@ReflectionsofLife indeed, we have so much to learn from each other, that’s the beauty of life..
Why do we have to learn such valuable lessons so late in life. Is it because physically we are forced to slow down and therefore have time to reflect and maybe entertain regret. I know at 61, I now see the world and my place in it through a whole new lens. Truly happiness comes from helping others and being somewhat content with your current state. The past can be depressing and the future can offer anxiety but our self Love is everything. Thank you for your videos. They help me to look inside for the answers rather than somewhere else.

It has to happen in its own time, because you need to have lived a life, in order to reflect on it and grow from the lessons. :)
I feel you. It's not about late or early, it's just the moment or right moment to summarize our journey of life. We realized who we are in the meant and scripted journey of ours, and acceptance to feel the sweetness of life we had, be it sweet or bitter or both. A wrap.
Just take care. Living off-grid doesn't cure us of our imperfections. I guess you could say the silence makes you sit with yourself sooner. One thing is certain: there's no getting around all things we are to learn- and humans like to learn the hard way.

@@sunshine-qk8qe of all green Renaissance’s videos I resonate with this gentleman William’s words the most. We chase after the rainbow but we forget about the sun. Here in Singapore the sun is always bright and hot and I don’t like the heat very much so I am always hiding indoor. Let’s hope Green Renaissance replies and lead us to William’s longer video. I do want to hug this man and tell him everything is okay.

I have watched this four times. I am just overwhelmed with emotion. I love his mind and his thinking now. I also know where all my skeletons are buried. I do also have a lot of regrets for so much of my life that I wasted early on. And many things that I have done that I am ashamed of. Thank God though that I never physically harmed or caused physical harm to anyone. I know that I certainly got behind the wheel way too drunk to drive many times. I cannot take back the pain and hurt that I've caused myself and others. But I have spent a lot of time now at 71 years old to make amends. Like he said I just want to be happy today and make others happy. Thank you so much again for such a beautiful video. You guys have certainly touched me so much. If I can afford it this next year I want to go back to India to a little village that I worked and lived in Back in 1970 when I was in the American Peace Corps. I want to go back to visit that Village it's been over fifty years. If I could afford to make the trip I would love to stop in South Africa just to see some of the places you have filmed and meet some of these special people just to give them a big hug. Not to mention giving you guys a big hug also. Again, thank you so much.
