Factor in a child being involved, and if you're a naturally depressed person who doesn't feel confident you can hold it all together on your own to properly care for yourself or more importantly your child, you might be desperate for anyone to be that branch to keep you from falling so far down you can't get back up. I keep coming back to this video. Anyone who has ever loved someone and lost them to death can relate to these simple truths, so eloquently worded here by Patton Oswalt. I would give anything to be back again, bickering with my mom making Christmas cookies, two frustrated cooks with flour everywhere in a crowded kitchen. But that will never happen again in this world. It's important to remember all of our happiest memories, all of our high points in life involve the friends and family we love. Hold on to your friends and family, see them often, spend time with them. Love is the joy of life. There is no substitute.

    • @tvtitlechampion3238
      @tvtitlechampion3238 6 лет назад +1

      Thought about it. What you'd call faith is actually an engagement in the sin of pride. You're way too certain of your infallibility in precognition and causation of geo-global events, and reference scripture to buttress your certitude. You double down on your pride by urging conformity to a prescribed formula of worship, in the hope of avoiding bad juju. Your superstitions may work for you, if only to blind you. Don't attempt to blind others.
      Jesus Christ is capitalized, by the way. He would probably forgive you, but it's a point of grammar that a true believer should be aware of to short-circuit criticism. Oracles shouldn't appear to be so scattered or ignorant. That's why those mega-church pastors have such nice hair and teeth: to make scripture more appealing when it emanates from their pie-holes. Not that it would matter to you...

    It's in the happy moments that often times makes you remember what you lost, because you search for them to share in the happiness. And that hole felt a little more larger at that time.
