Now that is looking fantastic, and as you say the wheels do make a major difference.
Before the 5.7 era we had 250 thru to 360 hp engines for the '63, with a 396 a year later, never the less you made a perfect paint job in yellow and awesome wheels

Hey Rob, the 63 Corvette was always my favorite. The split window always had a love hate relationship with the Corvette community. There was a nice selection of engine, transmission and rear end ratios. My favorite engine was the 327 cubic inch 340 Hp version. I collect the original dealer brochures for Chevrolet from 1955 to the mid 70's. The brochures have nearly all the information on the various models. NICE JOB ON THE MODEL. Beautiful. I love the slight pearl sheen on the yellow.
I wonder, do you worry about losing what little detail you have on the interior by painting it black? I typically prefer painting with a lighter shade, a gray or brown if I am worried about losing details like seat creases and seams.
I do love those big boots though. Keep it up.
A Canary Yellow would have been an original color but she looks great. The Wheels are perfect. Good Job. 👍

Wasn't expecting the mustard yellow but it works perfectly.👍 For my tastes, the rear wheels are a tad too big but you, and most of the others, seem convinced.
The casting seems to be spot-on; just a shame they didn't use a wee bit more detail on this one. I don't know if Chevy ever used a similar colour - they should have. An iconic car needs special paint.👍👌😁

All 1963 Corvettes had a 327-cubic-inch small-block V8, which would be... something like 5.4 liters, I think, in Church of France. :) I think the 350 ci small-block was the one that got badged 5.7L when GM's marketing department went metric, but don't quote me.
You got 100% paint removal on the _outside,_ that's where it counts. :) Great work on the new paint, as usual! I'm not _completely_ sold on the wheels; they look cool, but the asymmetry bugs me a little, simply because I'm a bit of a purist about my C2 Corvettes. But that's me!

Lovely job, Corvette Stingrays look great in yellow. I'm a big fan of Zylmex, they seem to have "borrowed" lots of casting ideas from Hot Wheels (Custom Corvette in this case) and others. This isn't one I have in my collection so I'd love to win it!
