I was there(even though I'm an arsenal fan-went with a West ham man and a Ltfc man),but the biggest cheer of the night as I remember was the ironic celebration for the Newcastle goal
First time I've seen this. I could have been there, but decided not to make the trip with my magpie mate from our flat in Muswell Hill on a midweek evening. I've always regretted this - I'm a Sunderland supporter!
A rare non-penalty goal from Ray Stewart! Take away all the penalties he scored for West Ham in the 11 years he was there and he only scored about four or five for the Hammers ... but one I particularly remember was a 40-yard thunderbolt against Tottenham at the Boleyn in December 1983 ... the third West Ham goal in a 4-1 walloping of our "friends" from the Lane. Tony Cottee and Sandy Clark (remember him? No, me neither ...) scored the first two ; and Trevor Brooking scored the fourth near the end. We didn't know it at the time - but that would turn out to be Sir Trevor's last-ever goal in professional football.

Lucky Hammers! Newcastle deserved a point...
Insert sarcasm (here) 😂😂😂😂
Thought Beardsley did a better job in goal than the actual goalkeepers!!
