I think ON PAPER we have the quality to do something similar to what Villa did last season with the likes of Bowen, Kudus, Paqueta, Rodriguez, Fullkrug, Summerville etc but all the new players have to gel quickly together (crazy I am hearing from top sources we are even going to try and bring in 4/5 more players) and not only that, the whole squad has to adapt to a new style of football under Lopetegui. The squad is used to playing a low block under Moyes so its going to be quite different. I think i would be happy with anywhere in the top 10 for next season then the following season try and push on.

Day 1 of asking for a RCD Mallorca Rebuild i suggested this i few times a few months ago but stopped. However Mallorca last year were only a few points of being relegated to La liga 2 despite there league troubles they beat Real Sociedead on penalties in the Copa Del Rey Semi finals but lost to Bilbao in the final. After the results of the league and cup their manager decided to depart the club the new managerial team have brought in a decent few signings to help boost them up la liga. They were also linked with Mats Hummels but they didnt happen. Recently their Goalkeeper Raijkovic ( also played in the Euros last month ) departed as well so as much as there is some hope in the team theres also huge roles to fill up and with the league calender starting in a few weeks those roles need to be filled in now.
