The fact that some people think it's CGI is a testament to BD and they should take that as a compliment.
@@expe808 learn how to do CGI and you'll realize how hard this would be to actually make in cgi.
@@expe808 spot is being sold commercially? (to industry)
@@expe808 I advise you look at Adam Savage testing spot - he shows off that stuff
@@expe808 Michael Reeves 👀
It's testament to how many dumb people exist who can't accept that it's real. Now watch them freak out over that comment.
The new robots being interviewed are amazing, very human-like. Good job 👍
IT is weird indeed. Everywhere I comment, people tell me how much they love me and my content. Sometimes IT is annoying. But right now, IT would be okay. So say something nice about my content, dear lek
@@AxxLAfriku Your content is very nice. Good job 👍
Ha ha funny

For 10 years i learned to figure out how to turn off my computer. Now it's time to change and let machines learn this lesson. What an amazing piece of pizza i just ate.
1:01 Someone already made Spot serve beers before, just a little differently
Ahh the p***bot 9000, well... almost did!
why do I always scout this comment but never seem to find it up top... go up! upupup
hmm yes, serve....
@@adarshsuma5081 Spot was a dog employed by Budweiser
Both with beer stain on the warehouse floor. So no difference at all.
Man that robot dancing clip is so damn adorable
my gfs are too
@@AxxLAfriku not you and your bots again...
But I agree:
The robots of Boston Dynamics are adorable while dancing!
Alongside the engineers haha. Lovely tbh
Yo, from an engineering perspective, the "There are graphics on the boxes, the boxes have holes" those two things are HUGE!! Please don't write off the genius of these robots and these engineering teams!!
Plot twist, they are saying all these nice things because the robots are holding them hostage in front of the camera.
But Michael Reeves already taught Spot to pour beer... a year ago...
taught

They did it again, a lot more successfully and simpler, and the intended way...
The devs are so passionate about their work, you just have to sympathize with them :D
"Our robots did learn some new behaviors, like for example, spot learned how to pour a beer!"
Micheal Reeves : "And I took that personnaly..."
"Our robots did learn some new behaviors."
"Spot, for example, learned how to pour [a] beer."
I see, taking really good inspiration.
Inspiration that I'd rather not wish to remember fondly.
I really love seeing people loving what they’re doing! The robots are pretty cool too!
I want to dance with the robots, too! Love love love this channel and all the robots.
Until one of them bumped into you or you into them. Then it would be your last dance.
@@DirtiestPotato "he stepped on my foot!" "which one?" "yeah the one over there"
That's ok, they'll dance on our skull in a not so distant future 😅
I want y'all to do a dance video where the robots dance alongside professional human dancers in a choreographed production. That would be the most sweet video, man and machine performing the arts.
Better yet, the robots being the dancers partners
The robots are pretty cool, but the CGI work to create the lifelike "employee interviews" was off the charts!
I dont think the way it was pouring a beer is generally accepted by youtube audience. There is only one way bestowed upon us by Michael and we have to embrace it
I giggled when spot poured that beer...
Michael Reeves has finally started taking over the world.
The Boston Dynamics team rocks. I love watching Spot and Atlas dance. It is amazing, iit gives these robots a personality. Taank you Boston Dynamics engineers for all the work you do.
"hold my beer" moment
When I was younger I always told people I wanted to work for Boston dynamics! ( really, I still think this would be an amazing job! )
That’s my goal

@@DirtiestPotato me?
@@kreuinos6333 Sure!
Thinking of them as CGI is equivalent of a good gamer being labeled as hacker.
This screams of women in engineering without mentioning it, stating it or highlighting it.
This is the way ! Well done BD
I think everyone’s focusing on the robots not the people
@@kreuinos6333 And?
Man. I’ve been subscribed to you guys since the big dog video released. And you guys have been engineering the most fluid robots I’ve ever seen! Keep it up, keep being an inspiration for others,
I'll die knowing that I'll never get a chance to work with Boston Dynamics or OpenAI. Mad respect to such companies :')
you can replicate just about everything they've shown publicly in your own private workshop if you have resources and are motivated / smart enough. plenty of individuals are already doing these things. you'll probably be limited by budget but you can 3d print parts to save costs, etc.
@@chrishayes5755 That's true. I agree. I meant working with the brilliant minds. :)
You are under estimating how amazon and walmart big this company is going to be in 20 years.. you might be a drone tech hired for bots in your area soon..
Its good to see the Robots do domestic chores...these skills will be sorely needed in the years to come!
Man they really made a crappier beer pouring spot than Micheal Reeves (sarcasm)
Boston Dynamics has come a long way since the birth of Atlas, and Big Dog! I am happy to see you all have fun tweaking with their programming to have fun in showcasing their skills, and fine motor functions! I believe it is all real as technology has come a long way! Excellent job to the Boston Dynamic team and their robotic counterparts!
Nerds and beer, sounds like a lot of fun ❤️
Boston Dynamics showing robots pouring beers while behind the scenes they're training to be future soldiers😄
you guys are shining light on the future , good job keep it up !!!
Good stuff, one day I hope to see an Atlas bend a girder to 31°
This place sounds like a mechatronics engineers dream job
Well that’s my goal! I’m gonna try to work there
a dream job will usually give you creative freedom. corporations have lots of red tape and usually don't let you stray too far outside of the higher ups vision. thankfully individuals are gaining access to technologies that will allow them to build these types of robots at home with minimal investment. once laser sintering technologies become more affordable it will be a real game changer.
@@chrishayes5755 so are you saying I should do it by myself?
@@kreuinos6333 That depends on what you want to do. At a company like this you're going to be told what to do for a long while before you actually get real creative freedom. Nothing really wrong with that and it probably would be fun for a lot of people. But if you have your own ideas then maybe it's not the place to settle for long.
Boston dynamics is a very exceptional and reliable company the robotics are awesome you have atlas, spot, and a lot more that I actually do not know I have been looking forward to when I grow up as getting and engineering degree which would be awesome keep it up Boston dynamics!
Everyone gangsta til the robots get their revenge for all the "balance tests"
They there in the beer thing all because of Michael. Boston dynamics need to thank him.
I like the gold infinity necklace that girl is wearing.
Sooner or later these constructions will put us out of work!
BD we love you Keep up the great work.
Sois un@s cracks! Seguid así! 🦝👍🏿
The Rolling Stones Spot clip was amazing ! Haven’t seen the Super Bowl ad yet. I’d love to see you guys do a collab with Ok Go on a music video, maybe using drones as well !
These new robots look like real humans 😮
It's amazing

I love these three Bots.

This is kinda funny yet amazing
AMAZING! Just AMAZING!
Michael Reeves taught Spot how to pour a beer haha
Love these always
Fantastic ! Very cool !
Boston Dynamics is becoming Apurture Science and i love it
You guys are my favorite magicians
Working in this factory should be a dream! (Even like cleaning staff XD)
Love it to the max
I remember in an old sci-fi book (Asimov, probably) a pair of humanoid robots tossing bits of gear to each other. Thing was that they threw so fast humans could not see it. The robots arms moved so fast, and their reactions were so good it was beyond our senses. Not sure if I want to see that, but would be interesting to see how fast Spot et al could throw and reliably catch. Maybe.
Good job guys!
I was thinking. Since you guys have Atlas... when is P-body coming out?
That looks like so much fun. All I do is teach my robots to stack boxes.
Hat's Of to BOSTON DYNAMICS TEAM
Amei de paixão essas pessoas lindas os robôs!♥️😁👏
Michael Reeves beat you to making Spot serve beer!
Damn, them bots like to party! The Venga Bus is coming 🤩
I'd love to hear the views of BD's ethicists and philosophers discussing the implications of robotics. Can that be the next video?
After decades of dreaming about robots, our collective dream is coming true.
We will love robots more than we love our fellow human friends
(and/or ourselves)
SUPER team!
this is so wholesome
Would be interesting to see if they can do their routine on the field
boston dynamics is my favorite company, and for good reason
"Make spot pour beer" Hmm I wonder if that was already done by a certain youtuber...
I would even be a janitor there.
I love these robots. Keep up the good work!
I would love to know literally everything about how the Atlas robot works
Was the beer tossing scene in the commercial? Or is that part of additional scenes for later ads?
Cool robot, great job!

It was a pritty cool little easteregg seeing ,,spot" in the Book of Boba fett...I can't believe we live in a time where we can use actual working Robots in sci fi movies
