does a lancer has a relay for low beam heightlights? driver side low beam not working. I bought new headlight bulbs still don't work I think it's a relay or fuse. but only driver lowbeam headlight side is out.

I honestly don't know if there is a relay for it. I would have to do some digging around. For some reason I thought the ETACS-ECU controlled the flasher timer. Are you having problems with a light flashing too fast or what? If it is just a fast flashing light you probably just need to replace the bulb.
Hmmmm so why is it the technical service bulletin and service manuals say the fuel pump relay is the green one next to that black one that you claim is the fuel pump relay? It actually states all the green ones are your "fuel" related relays that should be replaced.
I would have to dig through old drives to find my info to see where I pulled the information. My old site that had the information is no longer up. I found this by searching though: www.evolutionm.net/forums/evo-x-engine-management-tuning-forums/571202-black-fuel-pump-relay-dead-one-cut-open-pics.html . Also the colors of relays changed quite a bit over the years before I posted this video, so you will need to see if there is more current TSB/relay now.
@offworkhours ahh i see, the TSB i was looking at actually doesn't call the one i thought the fp relay my bad. but oddly enough it says to change the starter relay instead of the fp relay..
hi i need some help . i have 2003 lancer and would nt start althoo i drove to store but didnt want to start. like nothing. i replace starter re mount but still nothing could it be a starter relay ?? i think thats my last option pls help
It would not hurt to check that relay. When is the last time you checked the charge on your battery? Do you have any type of security/immobilizer system in the car?
hi yea i did a battery test its all good .replace relay..no luck i have no immobolizer or alarm . i thought maybe clutch peddle switch but thats tested ok i replace the starter and it work and starts. cant believe i bought a defective starter wow but tks for your help . very appreciated that you took time for my issues. god bless keep up great work if i have any issues i will not hesitate to threw it at your direction tks again
There were a few versions of the relays for the cars over the years as people kept noticing issues with them. I am not sure which number in the sequence the Panasonic ones were.
I would check your relays to see which ones you have and replace them if you have the old versions. I would think the correct ones were installed on the 2014 models. Check the link in description of this video for more details.
Have you done any work lately near any connectors? Maybe pulled something loose on accident? I replaced the dlr relay with a new one but it still does the buzzing sound any idea why ?
