How to fix the Lancer ignition switch

The problem is the brass plate wear down on contact thats y its not starting

did you hear a clicking sound when you tried starting it or heard nothing cause i hear a clicking sound.

My car has a similar issue but I can get it to start if I push the key in really hard as I turn it. Do you think it's the ignition switch or the cylinder switch?

2006 Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0 SITUATION: When I was backing while turning the car stalled and would not start. Acted like dead battery or bad starter. I pulled starter and tested fine 3x at 3 different testing locations. Battery has full charge. When I turn key same thing bendix sounds to be kicking out and engaging but engine not turning. Tried multiple times and ground on battery starts to get hot. In the past I did have an issue with relay block under hood had come unmoored and fell near front tire and was collecting water and debris. Eventually the connections failed and I replaced entire block. I soldered all connections and heat shrinks over each one (retested today and all connections are good)
QUESTION: I understand if the car went start it may be that part in colum, but If the part your replacing in colum was my problem would it cause the car to stall. Also if that part fails will it allow starter to start to work but not completely?

What if when it’s in accessory the lights on the dash turn on but when you turn it to on right before you crank it the lights come off, I want to say it’s a weak power output from the battery as in maybe my ground terminal is corroded
