- Dimethyltryptamine (DMT) is an intense naturally-occurring psychedelic that's also found endogenously in the human body. It's not as popular as LSD or psilocybin, though its use has grown over time.
The most popular route of administration is inhalation, but it's also frequently taken orally in ayahuasca-like preparations.
It has at least been used for centuries.

Regardless, that was a test to see if they could make you suggestable for brainwashing/ mind control. They couldn't. However, they found that deleriants worked, and so mkultra was discontinued (presumably replaced by another program)

Psychedelic is the answer to most severe anxiety and depression...The use of magic mushrooms completely helps one get over depression and makes you feel like yourself...I used antidepressants for some years but it only made me feel like a zombie but when I started taking DMT I had the best trip of my life

Psilocybin saved my life . I was addicted to heroin for 15 years and after Psilocybin treatment I will be 3 years clean in September . I have zero cravings . This is something that truly needs to be more broadly used in addiction treatment .

I have been diagnosed with Dysthymia and ADHD and Social Anxietv. I get mad all he time for no reason and I lack social skills because of the anxiety and I'm actually switching schools because there is a school (I recommend you check it out) it's called PACE and it's an all girls school for people who have mental health issues which cause them to make bad decisions or get bad grades or even if you just need counseling along with school. Every student at PACE has their own counselor to make sure you follow your goals.

Psychedelic's definitely have potential to deal with mental health symptoms like anxiety and depression, they really helped me.
Psychedelics helped me a lot, they are the reason why i didn't take my life when I was at my end. I was stripped of my ego and saw the beauty of life and interconnectivity and even though i still battle anxiety and depression, l'm doing better everyday and will never think in such a self destructive way again.

Excellent video, very informative, easy to understand. I did a small dose 3 months ago, at first I was a little reluctant but my grandson convinced me it was safe. I am a 72-year-old artist and I think that is why my 22-year-old grandson wanted me to do it. He wanted to see what I would paint after this experience... The colors were alive and controlled by sound vibration, the color started to absorb me, I could smell, taste, hear and understand everything around me. The only way I can describe it is I became everything. It was an awesome experience. I may do it again someday... Thank you!

Smoking anything is not good. DMT is orally active by adjusting the PH - this can be achieved with tartaric acid etc. and PH test strips to get the perfect PH for oral consumption.

I battled with depression, anxiety & C-PTSD. I do hear that shroom cures depression. Wish doctors could be more open to nature medicine over big pharmacy but we know why though.
The in take of magic mushroom can help get over depression and addiction. But there’s a big risk if you eat the wrong type.
A friend of mine told me about his experience when he took shrooms and ketamin, helped him deal with trauma and depression. Would love to try them though but no good source yet, I think I'll do dr_fselman.

I never got that far :( I don't think I took enough inhales cause I was using a rather large water bong with herbs to give the dmt a base to sit on. It was like 600ug of LSD condensed into 10 minutes, and was still fucking amazing in its intensity and wonderment, seeing things and sounds in ways I never thought possible. I'm just doing an STB tek and then I'm going on another space trip.

There is more to discuss about DMT than I could possibly include in one video. At the very least another video will be created to talk about ayahuasca. I opted not to delve into it here because it truly has a different pharmacology, safety profile, history, and the effects are different.
Also, I've posted a text overview (link in description). That includes more information about DMT and will also be updated over time as I collect more information to share. And it includes all of the published papers I used.
One of the difficulties in making this video was in trying to discuss the effects. I hope I was able to encompass them sufficiently to give a general idea of what DMT does. Compared to amphetamine, for example, it's a lot more difficult to try and describe the effects of DMT, especially in this format.
This is one of the first videos where I found it was useful to reference some of the books in my library. Some of the books I recommend if you're interested in learning more about DMT/ayahuasca include The Ayahuasca Experience (Ralph Metzner), Plants of the Gods (Schultes), and Vine of the Soul (Schultes). I don't necessarily endorse all of the info in the books I recommend.

Nope, it's not focused on hallucinogens. Among the latest videos were bupropion, carisoprodol, alprazolam, absinthe, oxycodone, and PMA.
I exaggerated by saying "focused" , lets say "relative majority" but anyhow all the videos made are very informative and interesting to watch, which is not easy!
Also I like how you debunk myths regarding some of the drugs, for me its unknown why Metamizole is banned in USA while being very effective painkiller?

As someone who onces self-proclaimed himself to be a "psychonaugt" In my opinion I'd say (besides weed) DMT is the only recreational drug that genuinely can treat things like anxiety and depression. It's not like things like MDMA or ecstasy where people confuse being "really high" with "not being depressed or anxious". But when you come down from DMT you have this refreshing feeling, almost like your starting a new chapter of your life. And it becomes very easy to put the things that were causing you problems into retrospective. Now with all things it should be respected and not abused. But there absolutely is healing potential in this substance

I swear I want to try this so badly. I want that experience with life. For years I've battled with choices. My addiction to drugs and anger and never finding true roots in my spirituality. I went a couple years with a death phobia that overtook my life for a long time. I can't explain it but watching all these people take the journey Live, and hearing testimony from them, makes me truly believe so intensely that I need this experience to find happiness again, and realign myself with my faith and find a turning point that I have not been able to hold onto in my life. But... sadly my anti social issues prevent me from having luck finding a route to obtain. I don't have a psychedelic scene around me. Just junkys and tweakers😥💔. I pray to God I find the way. I need this breakthrough and I believe I will find it here... 🙏

I’ve done DMT 7 times over the past year. That’s not substance I want to encounter every weekend. It packs a heavy punch, very overwhelming. I don’t see an addiction remotely being a possibility. My trips have all been unpleasantly rewarding with most benefits occurring over a course of time and subliminally.

Another effect of smoking DMT is a full body tingling, anesthetic like sensation. This could be associated with the rush sensation you described briefly. This effect, along with an increased heart rate, kind of freaked me out at the onset of my first DMT trip. My trip sitter was experienced with it and let me know it was ok, that's what it does.
I remember than tingling around the neck and spine when i tripped on shrooms. It was weirdly pleasurable

Salvia felt like I was being twisted and contorted. The body load of DMT isn’t relaxing since you’re still clear headed of what’s happening to you. I’d say after each time i’ve done I have a greater sense of happiness and a sense of wellbeing.

December 27th 1967 I smoked DMT on mint leaves in the Haight in Frisco. After dozens of LSD and STP trips this stuff was totally incomparable. It also worked as the strongest aphrodisiac I've ever experienced.

I've done Changa (DMT w/harmaline) I smoked it on mint a couple times, one time tho was my last. I put way to much mint and it was so fresh in my lungs with my blast off I felt like my lungs were full of water, I thought I was drowning for 15-20 minutes. USE MINT WISELY (especially if your asthmatic)
I think smoking it with plant matter in a "joint" really is the way to go with deems. You can cruise for hours. Mint leaves. Sounds very smooth.

I've never been a chemical mixed drug dabbler, mushrooms are amazing with the right people around or in a great setting on your own. I've been looking into DTM off and on, this was an amazing, quick and excellent description of what it is and GENERALLY what to expect if you go down this path. I'm glad to see things explained in this manner.
If you get a chance to try DMT just do it. Even on your best mushroom trip it wouldn’t even scratch the surface.

Freebase dmt is verry easy to make yes it requirs chemicals to extract it but your end product wont have any in it and sometines you might think i dont trust myself theres too much but if you actually just do it you will see its not that bad but look up willy myco or willys world idk what exactly his channel is but on his patreon he has videos teaching you how to do a few diffrent extractions

The Drug Classroom I agree. This one is way better (Though the first one was good too), and you have achieved to cover DMT info the greatest way possible: a shorter lasting video would probable lack some important info, while a longer one would get fewer views (as sad as it sounds) and therefore less people informed.

When I first encountered this drug in 2001, at 33 and well into a life of psychedelic exploring, it rocked me harder than anything before or since. It was set break (!) at a Phil and Friends gig in NY, it was 5-meo DMT. Not hyperbole to say it changed my life. Cheers!

Nothing could have prepared me for the experiences I had on Ayahuasca. I witnessed Brahman itself, as God calmly knocked on my door to say a friendly hello. I have never been more afraid my entire life. It nearly broke me, and it deeply changed me into a completely different person. It was a drug calmly walk me through the afterlife, rationally explaining spirituality, the universe, the human soul, and God to me. This was in 2019 and it also warned me that was a pandemic was coming but that "it's okay because it's eventually going to solve all the world's problems".

I've done it a few times. I felt myself coming in and out of wormholes and seeing machine like fractals everywhere, even when I looked at my hand and arm all I see is fractals going up and down my arm. I actually was personally wondering about a specific plant called acacia acuminata (narrow phyllodes variant vs the broad leaf variant) for educational purposes of course.

I want to ask a question. Why after routine i inhale HHO 3 hours a day i feel that many things become neutral. Did u have eksperience or eksplaination for this?
When I drink pure arabica espresso or americano normally from 10grams bean a day i can eksperience the caffeine and become awake. After using HHO even I drink 3 glass (from 3x 10grams bean) i don't got any effect and still can sleep.

I wish I would’ve had a test kit because it made me trip for 8 straight hours and the dude wouldn’t respond the next day. I still don’t know what it was but I definitely felt my whole body vibrate and the wall burst open and turned into fractals and I had closed and open eye visuals until the next morning. My boyfriend at the time took it as well and he saw his cousin and his grandpa and saw his hands age in front of him. We also had a shared visual where we both turned into the tree or life hugging each other. I still wish I could figure out what it was.

I think it's amazing how the pure crystal comes in the form of looking like a lotus flower or smaller forms almost angelic in form or like flower petals..
The "entities" are probably a person's superego or "other" personality splinter, or, spirits or other paraphysical presence. Never tried DMT but psilocybin is probably closer to DMT than LSD or mescaline, although phenethylamines and tryptamines are actually very similar, an especially interesting compound is alpha methyltryptamine, which one would think would have stimulant and hallucinogenic properties
Psilocybin is actually 4-phosphoroloxy-nn-dmt. Basically the orally active form of DMT. Alot more difficult of an experience than DMT but with a high enough dose it will take you to the same place as DMT with all the entities and other worlds etc.

That's really hard to do actually, since Spice is a brand, not a drug and it differs depending on country since some countries classifies some substances while other countries do not. So they are all different. It's like making a video about ecstasy which is just a mix of different drugs, (hopefully) having MDMA as base.

I had the white light experience with a HUGE 7 gram dose of azure magic mushrooms. White light sounds boring, but it is definitely not. I can't quite tell you in words what it's like to leave the body and become pure light, but "holy shit!" was my response once I came back. The light is pure positive energy. No fear whatsoever. DMT experience does not differ much if at all from other serotonine psychedelics like high doses of LSD.
@edit: To clarify - it isnt much different from the mental point of view. It kicks in faster than LSD and lasts shorter, but otherwise its a very similar experience, just more condensed.

Harmala alkaloids (harmine and harmaline) are not MAOI. They are RIMA (Reversible inhibitor of monoamine oxidase A). There are similarities, but they are not the same.
MAOI's are far riskier and last longer. Please cover that in video about ayahuasca.
Harmala alkaloids are MAOIs, but you can further classify by their reversible nature.
