Starring Talya Çelebi and Cenay Türksever, "Gelin" is the life story of two people from entirely different worlds: Hançer, who gives up her dreams for her loved ones on the one hand, and Cihan, who has fire in his eyes on the other.
Hançer, who gets her name from her sharp gaze, faces an offer that will turn her life upside down. Taking advantage of the fact that Hançer is poor and has a family that will not cause trouble, Mukadder offers her to marry her son and give birth to a son. Hançer, who dreams of finding the love of her life and having a happy marriage, first rejects this offer, but when she learns that her brother has a fatal illness, she is forced to accept the offer.

What frustrates me about some of these Turkish shows is that they constantly show characters who lie, who manipulate and who are abusive and who seem to get away unpunished for all the evil they commit, yet showing a married couple kiss, is seen to be taboo!

Hancer is such an awful character. You told your husband you are ready to fight, gave your self to him. Now you hide things, deny him sex and willing to prevent pregnancy. This is not the heroine she was portrayed to be. Just weak and whiny.
Exactly, they could keep the same script but make Hancer a stronger character
She has no brain; Mukkader who openly hates her now gives her advice and she believes her. I give up
I think she overheard some of the conversation of Cihun and his mother. But what she heard, wasn’t all of the conversation as the writers wanted to be , this she formed a negative of Cihuan again. This is what the writers wanted. The worst writers ever. They gave them one moment of intimacy without a kiss but more evil without end that will not be brought to light until the very last and final episode.now they want introduce a pregnant ex wife……the sickest ever

She believes the hateful mother in law, but not Sinem or her husband… she heard only half of a conversation with Cihan and his mother and thinks Cihan feels she isn’t really good enough for him and all he wants from her is a child and that he doesn’t really love her.

Why is it Hancer behaving like a senseless woman, how can she believe that wicked mother-in-law instead of her husband. If she hears something that’s not pleasing to her she should confront her husband about it instead of behaving like that, and they agreed to being honest with each other.

The story doesn't make any sense. Why did Beyza choose abortion? A married woman could have had more children, both girls and boys.
What’s the point of this fake baby storyline? DNA test and true will unevil.
On top of that, I think Beyza and her father Nursart are being unfair to Mukadder. They all agreed on a plan, and Mukadder did her part by finding a suitable breeder. She’s still following the original arrangement. Cihan falling in love with Hancer is something no one could control. Maybe Mukadder could have handled things better by calming them both down and reminding them that everything is still going according to plan

Hancer is too stupid for words. A protagonist like this makes not want to the show. She has zero backbone. I feel sorry for Cihan he is a good man, and he deserves a wife who is strong and has confidence in herself . Not someone who is so easily manipulated like Hancer is. I am watching Vendetta and the protagonist. i like her because she is not easily fooled, and when she thinks that something is wrong, she is not afraid to stand up, for she believes right . Hatta çekimlerin yapıldığı malikanede kullanılan mobilyaların köşeleri aşınmış, kapılar yıpranmış ve 90'ların başlarından kalma çok kötü bir dekorasyon var. Beyza ve amcasının yaşadığı evin aynı malikanenin bodrum katı olduğu açıkça belli.
Bu iki başrol oyuncusunu köleleştirmeniz ve diziyi ayakta tutmak için ellerinden geleni yapmaları çok üzücü. Bu yapım ne oyuncularına ne de izleyicisine saygı gösteriyor.
